2013 Honda CB500x - A perfect beginner adventure bike. It is easy to maneuver in city traffic, not too heavy and with an engine that feels very comfortable on freeways. The upright position of an adventure bike makes it comfortable for longer drives and it gets great gas mileage.This has extremely low mileage for a 2013 - just 1700 miles.It has been tipped (while it was parked by a car slowly backing up) just once. There is minor cosmetic damage to the clutch lever and to the grab bar on the back seat. If you're more than 10 feet from the bike, you cannot notice it. My partner and I travelled to a wealthy and affluent part of Silicon Valley. There we traveled down a small alleyway to a residence sequestered among trees and roses. This beautiful home was once owned by a successful mechanical engineer. The man had passed on and an estate sale was underway. His beautiful gazelle was now having its tires kicked and a couple potential buyers were fiddling with the top. The gazelle had been garaged for many moons and the overall condition was fabulous. There was no need to dicker around so we made our best offer and it was accepted. The gazelle fired right up after some fuel was added. It makes a wonderful little crackle and shifts thru the gears with ease. The car needs a better fuel pump and we will attend to that shortly. The level of finish on the car is quite good. We marveled at all the canvas extras. The kit is built around a pinto and we like the pinto power. That was a reliable model. The pinto was salvaged so the title carries that. This great Gatsby-looking roadster has been catching quite a few compliments in our neighborhood. My 12 year old nephew thinks its the finest thing since ice cream. I got this bike in a package deal, Its going to need a title, I can do that no problem. The bike turns over and has compression. Its a little mysterious whats going on. An old fellow with years of experience played with it for a couple hours. It was very fun and entertaining. 4 cigarettes later he had pulled the plug, charged the battery, ran some tests and came up with no spark. The bike is gorgeous and doesn't look worn out. Its been sitting for a couple years and was exposed to the elements. The kickstarter lever is stripped. Thats a must replace. I thought the bike was much older.
