Here we have a 1956 Nimbus was totally renovated in Denmark and only has about 2,000 km on the engine for the break-in period and is now 100% "ready to ride "! This Nimbus looks even better now than it did before leaving Copenhagen :) as I have added even more new parts since it's arrival. It is museum quality in looks but is built to be ridden and is one of the easiest and most comfortable antique motorcycles to ride ever built. Way ahead of it's time in technology it remained virtually unchanged for the entire length of production from 1934 to 1959. With features like overhead cam shaft, accelerator pump, positive crankcase ventilation, foot shift (1938 and up), shaft drive and many more details put it decades ahead of both Harley and Indian motorcycles. Used extensively by the post office, police department and the military, many were still in service by these departments right up into the 1970's. And with about 14k of them built over half are still registered and running in Denmark alone ! This is a number unlike any other motorcycle ever made proving both their durability and their dedicated following. With only a few more than 200 of them in this country this is a very rare and desirable motorcycle. I recently entered it in the judging at the Antique Motorcycle Club of America show and meet in Fremont Nebraska on the 27th and 28th of February. It received 99 1/2 points with only two deductions, both of which have been remedied. I see no reason why it won't score as a 100 point motorcycle the next time it is judged. Asking 15K or best offer. Please contact me for more information or pictures, Travis Scott The Nimbus Nut 719-641-6484

HARLEY DAVIDSON XLH DELUXE SPORTSTER 1991 First year of the 5 Speed transmission and first Belt on a Sportster (Was an option for this year) Bought this bike from original owner in 1994.Was kept bone stock as an 883cc until 1999 when it was built to it's present engine size of 1200cc(Reg still shows as 883cc ;-)All engine work was done at FASTBIKE TECHNOLOGY in Fullerton,California.Heads were sourced from Orange County HD and were new heads fitted with larger valves, stronger springs, reshaped chambers and flycut for higher compression.Engine was fitted with Flywheel scrapers, new ignition including Buell plugs and wires and Screaming eagle coil.Bottom end had new bearings and trued crank by Sonny of Fastbike.Engine has always run well and now its much stronger also. At this point the speedometer showed 50,000 miles. After engine was completed I rode the bike for about six months as i added most of it's chrome bits and custom machined items and removed the Speedo.Thats when I bought my first Buell and pretty much quit riding this bike but for a few times a year. It's a real head turner of a bike and has always been extremely dependable. This is one of the few bikes I've ever had that NEVER left me stranded throughout my ownership. And I've had quite a few bikes.Along with all the custom touches you'll notice they also fitted a slotted solid wheel from a Big Twin so as to fit up the largest tire that can be fitted to a Sportster. That is a 150/16 rather then the little 130 it started with. Following is a partial list of what this bike has in it: Chrome hand controls Braided Stainless Steel clutch and throttle cables Chrome master cylinder Chrome tachometer Polished eyebrow Chrome headlight bucket "Rainbow" shade and lens Chrome front wheel and hub and Stainless spokes. Chrome front and rear caliper Stainless steel front rotor with chrome rear Chrome levers Later model 5 speed petrol tank Polished low profile fuel cap Chrome plated triple trees Chrome or polished SS hardware Chrome aftermarket mirrors LaPera Low Profile seat(in my opinion the best loooking seat for a sporty) Custom inset badges in fender supports Chrome oil tank Polished front fork lowers Progressive Suspension rear shocks Chrome Shotgun pipes Chrome Kuryakin pegs Chrome forward controls Chrome Cam and Sprocket cover Chrome Primary cover Chrome rocker box covers Custom made center engine bracket with Pingel petcock Chrome battery box Polished rear belt sprocket Polished handlebar risers ENGINE 1991 XLH Deluxe 883cc remachined to a 1200cc Wiseco Pistons High compression performance heads S & S Super G Shorty with ThunderJet Flywheel Scraper Compession raised to 10.2 to 1 HP Oil pump Buell plugs and wires HS SS Head bolts Fins are end machined and polished Chrome Covers New Starter New Battery EXTRAS Along with the Motorcycle I am including: 2 more seats, a 2 up cushy thing and a single seat The original Speedometer with 51,000 miles on it.Bike was ridden another 800 miles with only tachometer Original Speedo drive and cable Rear turn signals Two sets of new brake pads Spare belt (Bike still has original belt on it) My hope was one day to remove front fender, install clip-ons,midcontrols and a cafe tailsection for a very reflective cafe racer style bike.Just no time. Please check out the pictures and if you need anymore just message me for them. If this bike is purchased for Overseas delivery we can provide a crate and pallet to ship bike for a very low cost.We can deliver to either Colorado Springs or Pueblo,Colorado. THANKS for LOOKING!
