Offered for auction is this original 1977 Harley XLCR cafe racer frame. I had this frame set aside for a special XR750 street project (see last photo), but I recently sold the engine, so I'm not going to complete the build. This would be perfect for an XLCR based custom or your own, or could be rebuilt back to stock, seeing how expensive these bikes are getting. I don't see any modifications or damage to the frame. Unlike some of the clones I've seen for sale, this is an original 7F frame. The frame vin also matches the original foil frame tag number. The frame comes with a clear matching number title in my name, ready to transfer to the new owner. Due to the size, this auction is limited to the USA for UPS ground delivery. Buyers outside the USA who have a domestic shipping address (or who are willing to make all the arrangements to have this shipped/picked up) are also welcome to bid. Please wait for an invoice before paying, as UPS ground shipping will need to be added. Frame dimensions are 56" long, 12" wide, and 29" high if you want to do your own shipping calculations on UPS. Please ask all questions before bidding. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction end, and the frame must be picked up (if not shipped by me) within 30 days of auction end. Sorry, no Paypal unless you want to cover the fees. Good luck!

Offered for sale is a 1982 BMW R65LS with an interesting sotory. This machine was purchased new in NJ in 1982, and the first owner rode it until 1990, when it was parked. It then sat for the next 25 years. It was purchased by a BMW collector in MD a few years later, and he had it in his collection until a few years ago when I found it. I'm now looking at purchasing an R100CS, and as always I am bike rich and cash poor, so I need to adjust my own small collection to make room, The R65LS has always had a cult following, and for good reason - they are a blast to ride! You can flick them around like you just can't do with a larger BMW. Owners of the early R80G/S models will know just what I'm talking about. In the last 5 years the prices on these bikes have more than doubled, but here is you chance to get a nice bike at a decent price. This is a matching engine & frame serial number bike, with clear matching number title. The machine was drained of all fluids and the battery ages ago, and has been sitting, and has not been run in that time. Over the years from sitting the rings are stuck, so the new owner will have to replace them along with the other chores needed to get this bike back on the road. Please ask all questions before bidding. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction end, and pickup/shipment is expected within 30 days of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I cannot help with shipping estimates. Please have your funds lined up before you bid. Ebay no longer gives a credit for a buyer who does not complete a purchase, so this can get expensive very fast. Sorry, no Paypal. Good luck!

Offered for sale is this XR750 / XLCR Street Tracker project. The XR750 engine is an NOS 2005 D port engine. This engine alone would cost you about $18k to duplicate at current Harley prices. Also included at the Buy it Now Price-only is the 1977 Harley XLCR cafe racer frame shown, with clear matching number title in my name. This would be a wonderful start to a street-based XR750 hot rod. Those who are only interested in the race engine are free to make an offer for just that, and the XLCR frame will be sold separately. Being a race engine, the XR750 does not come with a title - sold Bill of Sale only. Selling to finance a rare BMW motorcycle purchase. Engine includes complete racing magneto, racing oil pump, close ratio road-racing trans, aluminum clutch basket, and all other parts shown in photos. The crankshaft is fully assembled and ready to install into the case. Please ask all questions before bidding. Overseas bids are welcome, but I cannot provide shipping estimates, so please be prepared to arrange for your own shipping if other than breaking it all up into smaller boxes for USPS shipment. Payment expected within 7 days of auction end, and pickup/shipment should be within 30 days of auction end. Good luck!

Here is a true barn find, this 1973 Bultaco Alpina was used by a local farmer to inspect his fields. He passed away about 10 years ago, and the bike has been sitting since. A few years ago his wife went into a nursing home, and I found the bike at the estate sale when the family started selling everything off. There is a sticker on the rear fender indicating that this machine was first sold at Suzuki of Edison, in NJ. The bike apprears to be very original and complete. The chain guard is missing, and the front fender has been swapped out for a period Preston Petty Muder (which seems to have been the thing to do back in the day, since I often see these on Bultacos), but that's about it that I can see. The machine may not even have that many miles on it, since it still has Made in Spain Motocross tires mounted front & rear. Original Akront rims; Betor rear shocks; clean Bultaco fasteners all around the bike - even the original seat is in great shape. The engine turns over fine, but it is not currently running. Matching engine and frame numbers, and there is a clear matching number title in my name ready to sign over to the new owner. I would have liked to talk to this old farmer, since he selected a pretty classy machine to ride the fields - it would have been much easier and cheaper to find an old Japanese bike to ride. Today, this bike would be perfect for Vintage Trials riding, which is really growing in popularity. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction end, and the bike must be picked up/shipped within 30 days of auction end. Sorry but the bike does not move before payment is received - no exceptions. Overseas bids are welcome, however I can not help with shipping estimates. Good luck!

Offered for auction is this very rare opportunity to acquire a prewar BMW the way we used to find them 40 years ago. This motorcycle was disassembled for restoration in 1970, and was never touched again. There are NO Russian or reproduction parts on this machine. This is a matching numbers bike (many prewar bike engine and frames numbers did not match each other, but were in their own separate ranges - but they did each match the engine and frames numbers stamped into the frame ID tag when new, as this one does). I sent these numbers to the BMW archives, and they indicated that this was one of the last civilian BMWs built before WWII. It was built in August of 1939, and delivered to the selling dealer on September 15th, 1939, in Breslau Germany (now part of Poland) just 2 weeks after the outbreak of the war. And through all these decades the bike has survived pretty much as it was built. This bike features the original Graetzin carbs; the correct civilian style fenders - which are in MINT condition; the original fuel tank with large filler hole (introduced in 1939), the correct prewar rims (which are different than post war plunger rims); correct Bosch generator; the correct front fork (most restored bikes that you see are running a post war fork, which is different); - even the original handlebar controls and tail light. The one smaller box in the photos contains all the fasteners for the bike, and the large box has all the engine, trans and other detail parts for the bike, separated in marked envelopes. Even the old control cables are still there. Missing are the riders seat "Y" frame, the luggage rack, the air filter, and the headlight speedo/rim/glass/reflector - all easily available as reproductions, but I was holding out for originals. Prewar BMWs have doubled and doubled again in value in recent years, so if you have ever had an interest in adding one to your collection, this is your chance. Restored bikes like this one setting new records for sales all the time, and I know for a fact that many of them are running around with Russian cylinders and reproduction sheetmetal. This bike is the real deal, and it just needs someone to get it back on the road again. Please email with any questions. Payment expected within one week of auction end, and bike must be picked up/shipped within one month of auction end.

Offered for auction is this NOS Harley XR750 race engine. This engine is something that I had set aside for a café racer project that I'm no longer going to do, so here is your chance to build your own street-tracker machine - or even use it for racing, as it was intended. Rumors persist that Harley is going to stop making these engines & machines, but even if that does not happen real soon, these are rare and valuable treasures. If you are reading this you probably already know that Harley will sell you their XR750 "engine package" for about $11k. However, this only gives you the cases, heads & cylinders - no internals. With my engine you get the engine package plus the internals, of which 98% are also NOS. The NOS cylinders have already been honed to fit the NOS Cosworth pistons, and the NOS crank has already been assembled & trued. The rod bearing alone in this engine is $1,200 from Harley. I don't mean to keep throwning numbers around, but I want you to understand that it would take about $8k more than I'm selling this engine for to duplicate it. This engine comes with a close ratio road racing racing trans, most of which is NOS. A review of the photos will show the other internals - many of which are still in their sealed factory bags. My plan had been to convert this engine to a kick starter, but I never modified the cases, so no worries. But that is why the engine has a cam cover and kicker cover from a 1970 XLCH on it. These are NOS parts as well, so if you want to convert this engine back to full race spec, you will get a pretty penny for these parts when you sell them. Also included are a set of NOS factory headers, still in their original boxes. The NOS magnesium 1/2 speed oil pump and magneto are also included. There is a NOS spare magnesium sump, in addition to the one on the engine. Also included are a group of factory papers on setting up the engine, and also an old Harley invoice from when some of these parts were originally issued to the Harley dyno lab. This engine is a 2005 engine. I listed it under the first year offered because eBay expects a 16 digit vin for newer stuff, but since this is a race engine it does not have a full road vin. For that reason this sale is on a Bill of Sale only - there are no titles for race engines. Please ask all questions prior to bidding, and have your finances lined up too. Overseas bids are welcome, but I can not give an exact shipping price until everything is packed. I can include a secure wooden crate to house the engine if necessary, or break it down into several boxes. The engine stand is included with the engine. Payment is due within one week of auction end. This is a private auction, so you will not see the bids of other people that have come in.

Offered for auction is this very original and complete 1958 BMW R69. According the BMW Archives, this machine was manufactured on January 15th, 1958, and delivered to Butler & Smith in New York City on May 16th of that year. It came from the factory with the small bench seat that you see on the bike. The original low lip Weinmann rims are still on the bike as well. For almost all of its life, this bike has also be running a Hoske tank. This one is a very rare Hoske model Rennsporttank V (RS 5). The RS 5 was the top of the line Hoske of the period. In viewing the Hoske catalog from the 1960s you can see that this tank has the styling of the more common RS 1 tank, but it is larger at 36 liters total capacity (approximately 9.5 US gallons) - rivaling the Heinrich tanks of the period. Once you restore this bike back to a gleaming black finish, it will be the center of attention at any bike gathering. This BMW was parked in 1983, and the previous owner removed the front & rear fenders, the headlight & tailight, and had them sandblasted and primed - and that is how it was left sitting for most of the next 30 years. The engine turns over, but it is not currently running (the harness is disconnected from the switch, which was also removed when the headlight was sandblasted - the original switch is included with the bike). This is a matching serial number engine, frame and ID tag, with a matching number title. It also has the correct 1/26/9 & 1/26/10 carbs. The R69 models are finally getting the interest that they deserve from collectors, having been passed over by many for the more common R69S. The R69 is a direct continuation of the original R68, where the engine was lifted out off and dropped into this new double swingarm frame. During its six years in production, only 2,956 machines were built - which is about the same average rate per year as the R68. People forget that in the late 1950s, motorcycle sales and production were on the decline everywhere, and production numbers on this top of the line R69 were only in the "hundreds" of bikes per year. It was not until the early 1960s that BMW's fortunes started to turn around. So this is your chance to add a very rare machine to your collection. Please ask all questions before bidding. Payment must be received within one week of auction end, and pickup/shipment should be completed within one month of auction end. Personal checks are fine, but this will delay pickup/shipment. Overseas bids are welcome, but I cannot help with shipping estimates. I can deliver this bike to the Oley PA Antique Motorcycle Club meet at the end of April for no-charge if that is of interest to the buyer, but the payment terms remain the same. Sorry but I do not end auctions early. Good luck bidding!

Relisting due to a non-paying bidder. PLEASE do not bid if you do not intend to buy! Offered for auction is this beautiful 1936 NSU Quick. I'm listing this bike for a good friend of mine who is not online, but I would stake my ebay feedback on you being happy with this machine. My friend Denis has owned this bike for almost 20 years, and I have many happy memories of the several trips that we made to the Mannheim Veterama in Germany looking for parts for our old German bikes. Denis hand carried several parts back to complete this restoration, including the rebuilt accessory speedometer, the accessory Noris NOTEK headlight with frame mounted battery tube, the new tires, exhaust, spokes, decals, gaskets and cables, and many other bits. This bike was fully restored over several years, and it was just about 99% complete when Denis got sick. He is now no longer able to do any work on these old bikes, so I'm helping him sell this last old machine. If you have any questions you can email me, and I'll get you an answer within about 24 hours, or you can call Denis directly at 732-388-1105 between 9am and 8pm Eastern time to talk to him. 1936 was this first year for the Quick, and this one has the correct original one-year-only engine chain guard. It also has a beautiful original NOTEK headlight, Bosch cigar tail light, the correct Graetzin carb, and on and on. I don't think that you will find a nicer example of one these great old bikes if you tried. Over the Summer an unrestored 1938 Quick sold here on eBay for $3,800. Denis is selling this NSU for just $1000 more. You could not restore one of these bikes for that much money. So here is your chance to get a zero mile fully restored bike for a lot less than you could do it yourself. The bike also comes with an original parts manual, and a few misc. spare parts. Please ask all questions before Buying Now or making offers. Payment is expected within one week of auction end, and the bike must be picked up/shipped within one month of auction end. I am taking care of the transfer of the bike itself, because Denis is not strong enough anymore to deal with a lot of this. So I have the bike here in Virginia, zip code 22579, but payment will go directly to Denis up in New Jersey, and he will tell me when it is OK to release the bike for shipment. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with any shipping quotes. There is no title for this bike - Bill of Sale only. Here in Virginia this bike qualifies as a moped, so a title is not required - but check your State first to be sure. Sorry, no trades and no Paypal. Good luck bidding!

Offered for sale is this matching numbers 1982 BMW R65LS. This machine would make a wonderful Winter project for someone. The BMW R65LS has always had a cult following, but in the last year or so interest & prices have really started to climb. Nice LS’s are often selling in the same price range that an R90S used to sell for just a few years ago. Anyone who has owned one can tell you that they are really a great bike to have – you don’t need 1000cc twin to have fun! And don’t forget the legendary Hans Muth styling. So if you have been thinking about adding an LS to your collection, this would be a good time to act. This machine is currently not running, and this is how I got it. There is a new Thunderchild diode board, still in the package, that came with the bike (and is included with the sale), so electrical gremlins may have parked it. There are a few dents in the tank, and also a hole in the seat cover, but otherwise it looks very complete and original. It still has the original black painted exhaust that it was born with, which was changed to black chrome on the later bikes. The engine does turn over and the bike shifts through the gears. I had planned to do a restoration on it at some point, but I already have a red LS, along with other projects that I want to do first - so one LS may just be enough for me. So here is your chance to get a nice bike at a fair price. Please ask all questions before bidding or buying. Payment is expected within one week of auction end, and the bike must be picked up or shipped within one month of auction end. Sorry, no Paypal. Personal checks accepted, however this will delay shipment. Sorry but the bike does not move before full payment is received - no exceptions. Overseas sales are fine, however I cannot help with quotes. Good luck!
