I started with a 82 Honda GL500 with a Murray Feldman professionally rebuilt and tuned engine that was purring lika a kitten when I took out the battery and started on the conversion. Next is a 2000 Ford Explorer differential / axle with disk brakes. A flywheel was bolted to the pinion flange to be part of the reverse drive unit. A new starter motor was mounted on the rear end assembly and it was tested with the unit on jack stands to be sure it would work and in the right direction. It is driven with it's own new battery. New 16" wheels and tires were added at this time. The two parts were joined. The axle was connected via a redesigned and fabricated outboard swing-arm . The bike frame and trike frame is joined behind the passenger seat. The two frames (swing arm & trike body) are joined by the two pair of shock absorbers. I pair of coil overs and 1 pair of air shocks. We snapped off the 3/4" drive shaft during the first test drive. The repaired shaft was not satisfactory so the final drive shaft was fabricated at a professional drive shaft shop in Winston Salem, NC. I am 76 years old and I have had a triple bypass and an aorta valve replaced a little over a year ago. and started this project as therapy session but it hasn't helped, my health has been declining since The trike has all been reassembled with the help from friends and is sleeping in the garage as she waits for next weeks next test ride, I am selling this trike for expected future health care costs. $7,500.00 Pictures here: http://s1015.photobucket.com/user/Windjammer73/media/Radio%20Flyer%20II/RadioFlyerii028_zps74e3b38f.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 Video url here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_jgHYZV0Lq8 "Both these addresses need to be copy & pasted to the address bar of your browser"
