Big Bear Choppers is a custom motorcycle builder located in San Bernardino California. They started by customizing Harley Davidsons beginning in 1998. By 2002 they were offering fully manufactured bikes with official VINs and unassembled motorcycle kits which allowed a buyer to assemble their own custom bike. In 2006 BBC won 1st place in Discovery Channels Biker Build Off. The company has manufactured motorcycles for Chriss Angel, DJ Pauly D, and even for the hit show Sons of Anarchy. This particular BBC is a factory built 2008 Sled Pro Street. The Sled Pro Street features one of the lowest seats you'll find on a motorcycle which gives this pro street and long and low look like no other motorcycle. Since the rider sits so low, they become one with the chassis making the bike easy to balance and comfortable to ride. This bike has the look of a hard tail with the comfort of a soft tail. The bodywork has been finished in a beautiful pearl white with ghost skulls on the tank and saddlebags. Chrome has been tastefully applied in all the right places which balances the painted surfaces. This one is not all show and no go. The stock 88 CID was not cutting it so it was given a 95 CID kit as well as some Rush true duals. This Savior features a 124 CID S&S Sidewinder Engine, Primo Open Primary Belt Drive, Patrick Racing Dual Mikuni Carburetors, Performance Machine Brakes, Baker Six Speed Transmission, Spyke Starter, 250 Rear Tire, and an Arlen Ness Headlight. In the fall of 2014 the frame was powder coated, and fresh black paint with light metal flake was added to the rest of the bike. With less than 2,000 miles over all, a new front tire, and a new battery this bike is ready to rock the roads and impress anyone and everyone at all the shows. The black powder coated frame and deep black paint accentuate all the chrome perfectly. Chrome is present from front to back and side to side. The only items not chromed are the tires, frame, gas tank, seat, and rear fender. Looking at this bike from the side you will see how well the design flows from the front to the back, almost like a flame blowing in the wind. Up front is the chrome tri-start wheel and huge disc brake, chrome struts leading to the bright chrome headlight. At the front right side of the engine is the big air filter and chrome housing that holds it in place. Resting just below the gas tank is the all parts chromed engine, with the chrome exhaust snaking out the right side behind the chrome foot pegs. The surprisingly comfortable black leather seat is positioned directly behind the top of the engine and in front of the massive rear tire. The matching wide rear tri-star wheel and disc brake completes the ultra cool flow of this 2005 Amen Savior Softtail. This Softail Deuce has the best of both worlds: the look of a hard tail and the comfort of a soft tail. The shocks are mounted horizontally beneath the transmission and out of sight. This "Softail" set up has been used by HD since the early 80s and is one of their most popular lines. Powering this Deuce is an 88 CID counterbalanced twin cam V-Twin which has far less vibration then earlier V-Twins. The benefit of the big twin is the toque it offers even at low RPMs. Couple the powerful V-Twin with a 5 speed constant mesh transmission and you have a powerful yet reliable power train. This particular Softail is the fuel injected model which offers even more reliability and ease of maintenance.
