I am selling my 1997 R1100 RT BMW. It has a high 90,000 miles and has seen most of the United States. After being owned by two mechanical engineers it has been well cared for. Recently, it received a new battery, brakes done, and fuel lines cleaned. It does have a broken mirror on the left side from having it shipped in my last move. I have a replacement mirror for it. The seat is a bit worn from the miles. This bike has all the touring gear and truly purrs. I have a clear title in hand. I am asking $3000 as I down size and you can text me to start a dialogue at 630 723 1767. Removable wind shield. Registration good until April/17. Cover, HD battery tender. Leather bags with Saggy Bag kit installed. I bought this bike at SD Harley in 2006 when it had 2K miles on it. Hello, I'm selling my 2012 Suzuki Vstrom Adventure DL 650. I'm hitting the road in my van for an indefinite amount of time, and I can't take it with me. I'd like to see it go to someone who is going to ride the **** out of it rather than letting it rot in my garage for the foreseeable future. That being said, I love this bike. It is a joy to ride, very nimble despite its size and weight, with a great motor. Also gets around 50 mpg on average! I'm gonna miss that... Recently completed a 13,000+ mile loop from San Diego to Alaska, then back again. The Dalton Highway was a proving ground, breaking the pannier racks and snapping a drive chain, but the bike itself never missed a beat. The bike has a fresh oil change and just over 40,000 miles on the clock. The tires have at least a few thousand more miles in them. Cosmetically, the bike is in good shape, but it has its scuffs and bruises. I also painted it satin brown, which I think looks pretty rad! Cool stuff (in no particular order) 1. Custom brown paint job! 2. Enduro Guardian skid/bash plate - best on the market in my opinion, 1/8" steel, will take anything you throw at it 3. Suzuki OEM heated grips 4. Off road footpegs - wider platform, far more comfy to stand on than the stock units, and they keep your feet where you need them\ 5. BEAK! - updated the look with the 2015 DL650 beak 6. Full Suzuki OEM luggage setup - the Suzuki pannier racks were not up to the abuse of the Dalton Highway, so the quick release **** was welded together, and bolts hold it all on the bike. I also added extra support braces for the boxes 7. ProTaper bars 8. 2x 1 gallon Rotopax gas cans with locking mounts - for those long stretches between stations 9. Suzuki OEM engine crash bars 10. Suzuki OEM center stand 11. Throttle lock cruise control - for those roads disappearing over the horizon 12. Bottle opener mounted to top case 13. Custom Corbin seat 14. Barkbuster aluminum handguards - I modified the Suzuki wind guards to fit, and they work quite nicely Extras 1. All the stickers I collected - Gonna miss these! 2. Stock handlebars 3. Used Continental TKC80 knobby tires - lots of life left 4. Joe Rocket magnetic tank bag 5. Stock pegs 6. Stock seat 7. Xelement Bandit Buffalo Leather motorcycle jacket - size medium 8. Brand new wheel chock - maybe you have a truck to mount it in? I think that's everything. Remember, this is an ADV bike that has actually been on an adventure, so don't expect a show queen!
