You are viewing my beautiful 2001 Gold Wing in pearl blue color. This bike is in excellent condition. In my humble opinion, the pearl blue color is one of the most beautiful ever applied to a Gold Wing. In fact, when I was shopping for this bike, I was looking specifically for this color. It really is a looker! I’ve owned this bike for over a year, and it has obviously been well maintained throughout its lifetime. There is absolutely no sign that the bike has ever been down or damaged in any way. It runs strong, shifts smoothly, and is a joy to ride! While in my ownership, it has always been garaged when not ridden. The only reason I’m selling it is so I can buy a new Gold Wing. I’m 64 years young and have been a rider for 50 years. For the last 20 years I have been exclusively a Gold Wing rider. This bike is my sixth Gold Wing. This bike is equipped with all the standard Gold Wing amenities (fuel injection, electronic cruise control, reverse, AM/FM radio, etc.), plus some nice accessories. It has heated grips, a driver’s backrest, a chrome trunk rack, chrome lower air vents, two brand new chrome flag poles ready for the flags of your choice, and Gold Wing carpet mats in the saddlebags and trunk. It also has aftermarket exhausts which sound fantastic! They have a mellow tone that resembles an Italian sports car. They’re not loud and obnoxious like a Harley. You won’t be disappointed. Also included are the original owner’s manual in a Gold Wing folio, the factory tool kit, and two keys with one remote. The paint is in excellent condition. It is very deep and shiny. The seat and backrests are also in excellent condition with no tears or wear spots. The only two flaws I’ve found are some chrome lifting from the front fork brace, and some scratches on the crash bars where the former owner removed some highway pegs. I’m sure if you look closely enough you’ll be able to find some minor flaw somewhere, but for a 2001, it is in excellent overall condition. The bike has 76,742 miles on it at the time of this listing, and this may vary slightly as I still ride it. As you probably know, Gold Wings are known for their incredible endurance and dependability, and this one is barely broken in. I literally would climb on it tomorrow and ride it cross country with absolutely no concerns. It is completely road ready. All of the fluids and the oil filter have been changed, and it’s ready for the road. It has a brand new rear tire, and the front tire is in excellent condition. The battery was replaced shortly after I bought the bike last year. It has been maintained with a battery tender since new. The battery tender is not included with the sale, but the battery tender harness installed on the battery is included. It has a Texas registration good until September, 2016. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due by PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. PayPal can only be used for the deposit. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end. The balance can be paid by electronic funds transfer or cash at time of pickup. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will, of course, assist however I can.
