1982 Wing Derringer For Sale in Weirsdale, Florida 32195Performance and Handling:   This aircraft is easily handled with well harmonized flight controls.Stable flight characteristics make for an excellent IFR platform.Stalls are predictable with no unusual tendencies. Excellent visibility in all phases of flight.I have operated the aircraft from Love’s Field which has turf runways with no problems. It is comfortably flown in and out of 2,200ft hard runways at about 80% of max weight. I generally cruise at 7,000 to 9,000ft at 165kts LOP 13.8galls/hr.For planning purposes I use 14gal/hr for flights of 2 hours or more. Total fuel is 88 gals in two tanks. Normal fuel management is tank-to-engine. Construction and Systems: The aircraft is very strongly constructed using conventional techniques,but unlike most aircraft of this type all rivets are flush resulting in a very smooth finish. Gear and flaps are electric.
