I have made some nice improvements which include: Cobra 2-1 full exhaust with tip/emblem powder coated black Cobra FI auto tuner K&N air filters Factory Pro shift star "Debeavered" with fender eliminator Front blinkers/mount removed and custom dynamics led fork wrap around blinkers installed Rear blinkers/mount removed and custom dynamics smoke blinkers/running/tail light array installed with new flasher relay to keep blink rate stock After adding the air filter/exhaust/tuner she really woke up. Throttle is much smoother, sounds mean, and rips through the gears. Plus with the new blinkers and extra tail light it looks cleaner and is brighter. You will not be disappointed with this bike. Great commuter car and parking is a breeze. Excellent condition. Air bag warning lamp remains illuminated after starting and needs to be reset. The mechanic who did the maintenance did not have the correct computer to reset this. Can be reset at a Mercedes or Smart dealer. 1973 Honda Xl 250, Time Capsule first gen (KO) Honda XL250. Bike is a true survivor but with the maintenance necessary to make it an everyday rider. Since owing this bike, I have replaced the points, condensor, coil, fork seals, fork oil, chain, sprockets(NOS), throttle cables (NOS), brake shoes (NOS), battery and have rebuilt the carb with HONDA NOS parts. The timing has been set dynamically. I have also added new tires, tubes and rim strips. The paint is all original other than a few touch up spots on the frame. I'm selling only because i don't ride near as much as id like to, bike is a 1998 GSXR 600 SRAD, (suzuki ram air direct) and has just over 20k on it, starts and runs perfect, had new carb and needles and seats put in 2 summers ago. bike has aftermarket D&D Pipe, Lucky Strike custom fairings, 8" extended swing arm with new X-Ring chain (never needs oiling) Synthetic Oil just changed (5-30-14), has newer tires as of last year, fronts a dunlop still in great shape, rear is a tomahawk T1 will need replaced next year, plenty life for this year though. No issues with this bike at all, i have put lots of money into it well over 4000..I also have the back seat for it which was quite hard to find and not cheap.
