2001 Gem 4 Passenger , GEM Car e4 for sale. Includes new upholstery ($500), cover ($279) and tires. Has road and turf speed settings of about 25mph and 17 mph. Upgraded to Gel Battery Charging System and has less than 2,000 miles. Can be street legal as an Low Speed Vehicle, LSV, as it has seat belts, headlights, turn signals, and tail lights. Includes options of the large Trunk Back storage container ($750) and Scuff guards ($150). A comparable new one is about $12,000. Electric motor has been replaced within the last few years. This unit is well optioned and in excellent condition. The batteries appear to be original and hold good consistent voltage. It was equipped with the optional GEL Maintenance Free batteries. The eL XD models came with the 7hp high output electric motor along with the Delta Q charging system. The tires and suspension are in excellent condition. As you can see this GEM was garage kept and always well cared for. It accelerates nice and fast and stops straight. The brakes feel like new. All options function properly. This really is an excellent GEM It was used as a security patrol unit so it comes equipped with a custom LED kit with siren and full flasher package. The previous owner spent over $1,500 on the light kit and it look incredible when on, each LED flashing in red white and blue. The rear piece of the stakeback bed kit is missing and there are 2 small cracks on the stakeback post locations(rear). We didnt see a need to repair them but you could easily fix them. Other than that this unit is damn near perfect and ready to drive!
