MORE EXTRAS AND ACCESSORIES ADDED TO THIS LISTING I WILL THROW IN A GENUINE BMW LEATHER SPORTS / Racing JACKET and a BMW heated electrical VEST with the bike if the buy it now asking price is used to purchase the bike. Pictures and details available upon requestPLEASE NOTE: There has been some changes and some corrections made to this listing description. Please read the entire text ( sorry there is so much to read but it explains the bike in great detail)THIS BIKE IS IN BETTER THAN NEW / SHOWROOM NEW CONDITION......The listing also includes a set / pair of BMWs expandable hard side cases that have matching locks to the bike ( one key operates the bike and locks / unlocks the luggage) more info in the description.... FS BMW R1200GS Carbon Fiber Titanium Custom.......the majority of these upgrades and custom modifications have been done recently, so most of what you see is only a couple of years old. All of the carbon fiber parts are pristine and are as good as new condition. The bike has always been stored , and or parked out of the sun and in climate controlled conditions to keep the carbon parts as well as the whole bike in showroom new condition. Im also asking that any potential buyer to be able to make an immediate deposit upon the purchase of the bike ( either from buy it now or from an accepted offer ). The exact details of the bike purchase is to be worked out by buyer / seller discussion. IMPORTANT NOTE / PLEASE READ: a number of ads have been on the internet where pictures of my bike / this bike were used to advertise a bike or bikes in at least 2 different locations and with different asking prices : THESE ADS ARE SCAMS .......Please do not believe any ad that uses any pictures of this custom BMW without checking to see if its real . THERE IS ONLY ONE BIKE THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS, and its located in COLORADO and owned and built by me .....my name is DOUG OLMSTED I know that imitation is the highest form of flattery , but Im not impressed when people use pictures of any of my custom bikes in order to try and cheat or steal from someone. This bike is currently only being advertised here on USA Ebay....... I request that anyone making an offer, or purchasing the bike contact me to discuss the bike and to discuss the logistics of the sale ideally before making an offer or buying the bike using buy it now. If not prior to this, then surely immediately after the offer / or buy it now. Im adding some additional introductory comments because I have had a number of people make offers , only to be unavailable to discuss the bike. If I do not know who you are, Im going to want to "meet" you if not in person, at least through conversation ( phone and or messages ). I realize that for many people this is an expensive item to purchase. Please contact me if you are interested in buying the bike and would like to consider paying for it in a few installments rather than in a single payment. Depending on the selling price, this option may be available. If this interests any serious buyer, you must contact me and discuss the details of the purchase prior to purchase / offers. The bike can be set up to the buyers wishes. In this listing I will explain the bike and how it has been set up. I will list the items that are on / in the bike and that go with the bike . PLEASE NOTE / regarding ABS.....this bike is a non ABS model that had to be special ordered from Germany. The bike can easily be made into a ABS model by simply adding the ABS components. The non ABS model is really a regular GS but with the ABS system left off the bike. All of the needed brackets, space and design of the bike is the same as the ABS model. If you wanted this bike to have the BMW ABS system, you could buy a new or used system and simply have it installed. The ABS system will add some more weight of course. FYI....take off new and used BMW ABS systems and system components are easily found on Ebay, the internet and especially cheaply at motorcycle salvage yards and used parts sales . ==============================================================================================================================================ADDED EXTRAS TO BE INCLUDED WITH THE BIKE / THESE ITEMS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE BIKE AT NO EXTRA COST: = BMW GPS system ( brand new top of the line set up for this make and model) New in box with all information, instructions, literature , included NIB .( The GPS system has been installed on the bike ) This is the BMW top of the line GPS set up that allows push button control on the fly ( while riding the bike, you can control and adjust / make changes to the system) = BMW GPS system mounting system ( includes the complete GPS mounting brackets , wiring harness , installed on the bike / this mounts the GPS system module on top of the center handlebars for easy viewing , easy access and easy operation ) =Carbon fiber sports style mirrors / Real Carbon Fiber Sports Mirrors .....set / pair of Real Carbon Fiber mirrors / these are lighter in weight and offer less wind resistance than the CNC billet custom mirrors on the bike as it is pictured ( you will get both sets of mirrors / both the CNC machined from billet custom mirrors as well as the genuine Carbon Fiber Sports mirrors ) -Extra custom made Fournales rear adjustable air suspension system ( this is a duplicate of what is already on the bike ) This is an extremely expensive custom made air suspension system , made for this bike. I purchased 2 of these ( on is on the bike / the other is a spare in case the one on the bike is damaged or breaks / Please note: these air shocks are adjustable , and are bullet proof reliable. In fact they are used in extreme off road and on road endurance and long distance 4x4 and ralley car racing . I purchased 2 of these rear shocks because they were custom made for this bike. The one on the bike should easily last the life of the bike. The spare is only for use in the rare event of an accident or damage to the original unit. -Titanium sports bend titanium handle bars ( real titanium / not just ti color / with cross brace that is removable ) - Extra pair of custom made CNC machined billet turn signal assemblies ( duplicates of what is already on the bike) Again, these are spares / these CNC machined from billet turn signals were custom made . A pair of spares only makes good sense. = Extra air suspension pumps / the bike will come with 2 manual air pumps for added pressure to the front and or rear air shock absorber systems. One is kept on the bike in the carbon fiber rear fender case. The other one is a spare to be kept at home , or in the shop, or if desired, both of these pumps can be carried with the bike. FYI....these special air pumps are CNC machined from billet, and are small, easy to use, and extremely durable. They only weight about one pound each. They are about 12" long, 1" in diameter, and are similar to a small carry style bicycle pump. But these are no bike pump. They are expensive tools especially made for air suspension systems . = CARBON FIBER REAR FENDER CASE ....the textile rear fender bag in the pictures was removed. In its place Ive mounted a real Carbon Fiber rear fender luggage case . This storage / carry case is roughly 12" wide, 14" long and 4" tall with adjustability to expand to around 9" tall or more. This genuine Carbon Fiber fender case was extremely expensive and is a beautiful piece of art. It is gently curves in all areas and it fits the bike perfectly. It is both functional as well as areo dynamically sound. It is not a square trunk or box, but a very cosmetically pleasing piece of kit that adds both form and function to the ride = Tool kit included. Ive added a small tool kit of metric pieces that will go with the bike. These are in the carbon fiber rear fender case , alone with one of the air pumps ( described above ). Pictures of these added extras are available upon request. = There may be some additional items that Ive missed or forgotten. If I come across anything else important Ill add it to this list ======================================================================================================================================================================================================================= HERE IS THE LISTING . THIS SECTION OF THE LISTING EXPLAINS THE BIKE AS IT IS CURRENTLY SET UP< AND LISTS ALL OF THE UPGRADES AND CUSTOMIZED COMPONENTS THAT WILL GO WITH THE BIKE PURCHASE The bike was designed and built with 2 different uses and dress / set up in mind : As the bike is currently set up, it is ready for Sports Touring use. Ideal for longer distance , longer duration riding and exploring . The other application or use of the bike would be for more aggressive short distance , shorter duration use, in a more aggressive Sports application. To set the bike up for a more pure Sports use , is simply a matter of removing a few of the long distance touring accessories to help drop the bikes weight and to lower wind resistance . The accessories to remove to make the change can include : the Xenon HID lighting system, the saddle bag mounting system, the rear fender rack and or case , the engine outer guards ( the engine has a number of guards with cylinder head guards , and outer heavy engine bars / guards ...the heavy outer bars / guards can be removed to change the bike into Sports mode ), the billet mirrors can be removed and the carbon fiber Sports mirrors put on , the adjustable windscreen can be lowered and tilted back to lower wind resistance , the hand guards can be removed, the center stand can be removed. Also an optional item could be removal of the lower engine guard / skid plate ). The Fournales suspension has 2 modes or settings ( one is a "softer" setting for Sports Touring / the other is a "firm or stiffer " setting for Sports or more aggressive riding / play racing / canyon carving ) :) One other note : I was in the process of making a titanium exhaust modification to the bike to be used for more aggressive / Sports applications, but had not finished this. The parts for this exhaust mod is available with the bike if the buyer wants to add this to the purchase ( all that needs to be done is to weld a couple of pre cut titanium mandrel bent pipes together and to fabricate one mounting plate ).....when finished this Sports exhaust modification would simply replace the current Akrapovic Double Shot Gun Exhaust Canisters / Mufflers with a ultra light weight curves double outlet open / race style slip on exhaust ( basically the heavier big dual mufflers are replaced with a shorter lighter set of slip on extensions that go where the mufflers were ) .......more info and or pictures of this are available upon request . The listing explains the bike in great details and there are enough pictures to give the viewer a good idea of what is for sale here. Also FYI, the bike can be set up to the buyers wishes. And private viewing of the bike is available upon request. This bike is my latest of a number of custom built BMWs . It is a true work of art that was made with no holds and no limitations . The best components that money could buy were use and or custom made for this one of a kind bike. I am not looking for a trade or partial trade ; however I might consider a new or mint BMW HP2 Sport ( non ABS if available), or perhaps a nice BIMOTA could catch my attention. I hope you enjoy the listing and the pictures posted on the bike Thank you for your interest Sincerely Doug aka daotoys1 (303) 761-4626 PLEASE NOTE .......I CAN BE VERY HARD TO REACH BY PHONE.....I OFTEN DO NOT GET MY MESSAGES ( TROUBLE WITH MY ANSWERING SET UP ) THE BEST WAY TO REACH ME IS BY EBAY MESSAGES Englewood Colorado USA ( ENGLEWOOD is just south of the Denver city limits ) FS BMW R1200GS Carbon Fiber and Titanium full custom sports touring bike This is a one owner bike ( senior owned and ridden only in good weather and on paved roads / no dirt or off road use ) My superb full custom BMW R1200GS super sports touring project bike. The only reason I am thinking about selling this beautiful machine is that due to health problems Im not going to be able to do any more long distance or long duration riding. IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE = MAKE ME A REASONABLE OFFER FOR ME TO CONSIDER......I may surprise you and accept ( or counter offer ) ........ My thought is to possibly sell this fantastic machine and get a BMW HP Sport and do another project bike using another platform. My R1200GS Carbon-Titanium custom bike was a result of over 2 years of steady research and development. It was a money is no object project to improve upon the already great BMW machine. This started as a brand new 2005 non ABS BMW R1200GS.....the entire bike is a total ground up all carbon fiber and titanium custom upgrade. The goal was to build the ultimate BMW boxer super sports touring bike for the roads and canyons of the American Rocky Mountains. The entire bike has had every fastener, nut, bolt and screw replaced with genuine titanium parts. Every piece of body work has been replaced with real carbon fiber parts, many of which were custom made and/or modified and adapted to the bike. The intake, ECU, exhaust, suspension, lighting, wheels, brakes, and every other system of the bike has been painstakingly redone with the goals in mind of maximizing performance, minimizing weight, and keeping the bullet proof reliability of the BMW R1200GS donor bike. The bike was purchased brand new from BMW Denver here in Colorado. The bike was bought as a special ordered NON ABS model that took nearly a year to get from Germany to me. I wanted the Non ABS because I did not want the extra weight or complexity of the ABS system, nor do I like the total lack of feel that ABS gives to the brakes on a bike. As an ex racer I believe that non ABS brakes provide the best feel at the lever and the best rider control of the bikes brakes. The few benefits of ABS was not enough to convince me that I wanted or needed it. I have had ABS bikes before and I just dont care for them. As mentioned earlier , a ABS system can easily be put on this bike ( the non ABS model, which this is, is a bike that is built with the ABS components left off the bike as it is assembled. The ABS components can easily be purchased either new or used and simply be put on to the bike to change it into a ABS bike .......ABS systems and parts are easily found on Ebay, and salvage shops used, and from BMW dealers and also via the internet new ) The amount of upgrades and level of detail is to much to list here. But just to give you and idea : BST carbon fiber 17" wheel sets, Brembo GP HP calipers, Braking wave rotors, Fournales custom air adjustable shocks front and rear ( springless air suspension custom made for the project), Akrapovic full titanium race exhaust system, Ztechnik true xenon HID accessory light system, ECU and intake upgrades , carbon fiber everything ( and I mean every thing ), genuine titanium everywhere ( and I mean everywhere )....... does this give you an idea ??? Along with the bike I also have a number of extras that will go with it. Including some of the take off items ( I did not keep all of the take off parts ) and a set of the BMW saddle bags and mounts ( for longer distance use ). LUGGAGE : if you look closely you will see that the bike is currently set up with a set / pair of BMW Quick Release / locking saddle bag / luggage mounts ( with real Titanium fasteners of course). These mounts are easy to put on or take off the bike. The bike will come with a set / pair of BMW's top of the line Hard Cases / saddle bags that are made for this exact model. These I believe are called BMW "Vario" hard cases. They expand and reduce in size to fit the amount of luggage you have, or the amount of space yu need / want. They have 2 sizes that they can be adjusted to ( the width changes to make the cases bigger or smaller ). These cases lock to the bike and also lock closed with a key that matches the bike ( the bike key fits the bags and mounts). These cases also include heavy duty textile liners / soft bags that go inside them. This way you can either take the hard cases off the bike, or you can leave the hard cases on the bike and simply remove the soft luggage inside them. These are the only hard cases / saddle bags that look good on the bike IMHO. And they look very good on the bike, as they should since BMW designed them as a sports touring accessory for this exact bike. These hard and soft luggage items that are described above , will come with the bike or they can be left out of the purchase. This is a detail to be decided between the buyer and seller. These luggage items were purchased brand new from BMW , and I believe that I only used them once ( for an overnight trip in the mountains of Colorado ). I can say that this BMW luggage system was superb. It works well and looks great on the bike . For more details, and or pictures or to set up a personal viewing of the bike please contact me; Located in Colorado USA Near Denver..... Doug Olmsted . PRICE......this is a very good question. I can tell you that over $50 K USD was invested ( this is how much the components and parts cost for the custom build . This does not include the cost of labor to build the bike ). The project started out with a brand new bike and all upgrades and additions were brand new ( no used items were used in the build ) . My original listing asking price is $36,000 .00 USD ( $36K USD) This $36K asking price......how did I come up with this price......it was rather difficult. The initial cost of the bike, plus a small fortune in genuine carbon fiber components and real titanium everywhere inside and out. Plus many many hours of work to find, make, modify and adapt parts . Labor to R&R the pieces. Testing and trial and error , R&D of various components to come up with what I consider the perfect bike......how do you put a price on this ? The $36K USD asking price I came to by assessing the total cost of this bike project ( less labor / not including any labor costs ) and then dividing it in half. The $36K is roughly 50% of the cost of this supreme custom ultra sports touring project . I figure that this bike is well worth every penny. In fact its a priceless one of a kind bike. I seriously doubt you will ever see another one :) R&D / Trial and error.......let me give you a couple examples; prior to settling on the custom made air Fournales suspension system on the bike I tried a number of different suspension systems including OEM, WP, Ohlins and BITUBO racing shocks. I also tried a number of different exhaust set ups, different brake sets, and quite a few other things were done with this same approach. What I wanted was to create the perfect "Sports touring " motorcycle for use in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and adjoining states. The end result of a few years and way to much time and money you see pictures of here. Mileage; The average yearly mileage of a sports touring bike is 6000 miles a year or more. BMWs tend to be ridden much more than most other bikes, especially the GS models which are often used as daily riders, and or are ridden all year round even in bad / poor weather conditions. The average miles on a BMW R1200GS 2005 model is 54,000 . This bike has only 27% of miles when using this mileage as a comparison. 15K miles on a 9 year old bike means that only 1600 miles a year ( only 133 miles a month ) of use on the bike. 15K miles for a 1200 BMW horizontal / 180 degree air / oil cooled twin cylinder bike is hardly warming it up for use. These bikes can easily put on 100K or more miles without a single missed beat. Speaking of pictures.....I have many more that show various details , and I may add more to the listing . I can of course send more pics upon request. But pictures , even being worth a thousand words cant compare to seeing this bike in the flesh. I welcome people to set up a viewing. The only way you can fully appreciate this bike is to see it, sit on it.....and ride it ( but only if you buy it....no test rides ). OBO = OR BEST OFFER IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, then please dont be afraid to make me an offer. I will consider any and all reasonable offers. The bike is senior owned . The bike has never had any kind of accident. The bike has only been ridden by me and only on paved roads in good weather conditions. The bike was run in / broke in following the BMW motorcycle suggested methods. I believe that changing the oil and filter is the key life blood of the bike and the oil and filter was changed first at 600 miles and then every 1000 to 2000 miles thereafter ( I believe in keeping the oil in my bikes fresh and clean ....its cheap insurance that helps maximize the bikes reliability and long life ). I can provide complete details of all of the custom upgrades and improvements made to the bike upon request. The list of everything that was done is extensive. The attention to detail is also extensive and complete. If you study the pictures you will get a good idea. But the pictures cant capture how stunning this machine is seeing it in person. And yes, it does work as good as it looks Addendum; Ive gone over the bike and have added more details about the many upgrades and improvements done to the bike. Please forgive me if I have repeated anything . There is so much that was done to this machine that it is essentially a completely new motorcycle . All of the hardware ( screws, bolts, washers, nuts ) on the bike, as well as on all of the accessories are changed out to race spec Titanium pieces ( for example; even the hardware on the windscreen is all titanium ). When I say that there is real carbon fiber and real titanium everywhere I was not joking . A hugh amount of titanium went into this project. The foot pegs are titanium. The turn signals are custom made CNC machined billet with LEDs There is a carbon fiber tail section case that will come with the bike. The gas cap assembly is CNC machined billet The control levers for front brake and clutch are fully adjustable CNC machined billet pieces The instrument cluster is wrapped in carbon fiber and has both billet aluminum and carbon accents The axle sliders and frame sliders are carbon fiber and titanium items The engine case screws and fasteners are genuine titanium replacements There are a number of custom made carbon fiber pieces throughout the bike The bike is equipped with the BMW saddle bag mounts ( titanium here too ). These are easily removed. The bike comes with a set / pair of the BMW expandable / adjustable Quick mount / release saddle bags ( mint condition as the bike ) There is a CNC machined handlebar adjustment bracket system on the bike that allows moving the handlebar placement ( up / down and or forward / backward ) The custom made seat is covered with real carbon fiber leather ( not fake ) The crank case breather has been vented to atmosphere with a K&N style breather system added to prevent anything getting into the system ( this removes the vent from the air box which means no more oil getting into the airbox and or filter and only fresh clean air gets into the engine) The air intake snorkel is an oversized unit and the filter is a racing cotton fiber reusable / cleanable one ( to increase air volume intake and eliminate restriction ) The bike is set up for the BMW GPS system ( the GPS does not go with the bike, however this can be added for a additional cost ) The bikes ECU has a programable computer feature that is tuned to the modified intake and exhaust The battery is a carbon fiber racing lithium ultra light weight system with charger ( this is a $1000 USD battery ) The rear / passenger foot pegs were removed , but the brackets were kept and a set / pair of carbon fiber and titanium sliders were added to the brackets to provide additional crash protection. The engine and cylinder heads are protected with a combination of carbon fiber, aluminum and stainless steel guards. The drive shaft housing is protected by a number of real carbon fiber guards ( some are custom made ) The mirrors were custom made for this build by a company in Germany. They are CNC machined from billet and the shape mimics the cylinder head shape of the R1200 series engines A set / pair of real carbon fiber "Sports " mirrors also go with the bike Braking wave rotors / discs front x2 and rear Billet reservoir caps Carbon fiber gas tank panels (all ) Carbon fiber FI covers Carbon fiber front fender / fairings Carbon fiber side panels Carbon fiber BST wheels Carbon fiber tire valve caps Carbon fiber fenders / huggers front and rear Carbon fiber rear mud flap / wheel guard Carbon fiber oil cooler fin Carbon fiber forward engine / belt cover Carbon fiber cylinder head cover guards Carbon fiber front and side fairing panels ( all ) Carbon fiber air box side panels / guards Carbon fiber transmission case cover guard Carbon fiber rear drive shaft case cover guards ( all) Carbon fiber rear wheel drive gear case cover guard Carbon fiber brake light switch cover guard custom made Carbon fiber rear brake lens cover guard custom made Clear special rear brake light and lens assembly Carbon fiber fluid reservoir cover guards custom Carbon fiber rear fender rack guard and accents Carbon fiber and titanium tie down points Carbon fiber and titanium crash guards / sliders ( all ) Carbon fiber rear rack carry case assembly ( not shown but comes with the bike ) Carbon fiber shift lever / shaft guard Carbon fiber heel / exhaust mid pipe guard Carbon fiber side cover guards Carbon fiber and titanium handlebar ends Carbon fiber tail light cover / guard Special tail light assembly + lens Carbon fiber brake light switch ( rear brake pedal ) custom Carbon fiber hand guards Billet frame plus throughout Carbon fiber rear brake reservoir guard ( custom ) Carbon fiber cover for under seat storage ( custom) Carbon fiber huggers / fenders front and rear Carbon fiber rear brake line cover Carbon fiber and titanium rear brake caliper guard ( custom) Rear brake pedal toe pad enlarged / billet piece Carbon fiber skid plate / engine guard Stainless steel lines (all / custom lengths) Billet oil filter cooler / fins Stainless steel oil filter assembly ( cleanable / reusable ....better filtration and better flow rate than OEM ) Carbon fiber and titanium tie down points on rear rack and bike Enlarged center stand pads / with carbon fiber and titanium accents Carbon fiber front fork guards ( custom) Carbon fiber rear license plate brackets Carbon fiber windscreen guard ( custom) Billet BMW roundel(s) Carbon fiber starter cover Carbon fiber exhaust guard and dual muffler bracket Adjustable billet shift shaft lever assembly Locking oil filler cap assembly w/ key Billet finning on front shock assembly body to improve cooling ( custom ) Rear shock assembly has 2 riding modes with remote reservoir and quick change to riding setting ( solo vs dual rider or light vs heavy load ) Fully adjustable windscreen assembly True xenon hid light system with magnesium guards Aluminum and carbon fiber oil cooler guards Bike comes with tools, manuals, CD , 2 pumps for suspension tuning ( one portable pump to keep on / with bike and one shop pump assembly ) Carbon fiber everywhere......basically every thing that you see that looks like its carbon fiber is real carbon fiber. Titanium ....99.9 % of the hardware and fasteners on the bike are race spec titanium (more details avail by request ). When the bike was dismantled and reassembled , all of the fasteners involved were changed out to real titanium items. The entire bike was gone over in the process of replacing fasteners and hardware with titanium A large number of titanium washers and over sized drilled washers were used throughout the bike as accents and to enhance the cosmetics of the bike ( where ever you see a drilled washer , it is of titanium) Im sure that Ive missed some things but this should give a good image of the level of detail that went into this custom build. Thank you for your interest PLEASE NOTE : The tank bag, tail bag and teddy bear on the bike as pictures , do not go with the bike ( the Teddy Bar can go with the bike if you promise to give it a good home ) :) Question regarding mileage; The average mileage of a comparable BMW R1200GS is over 40,000 miles . This bike has just over 15,000 ( fifteen thousand ) original miles on her. This is barely ridden in / broken in for a BMW :) All of the miles on this bike were put on it by me. And only by riding on paved good condition canyons / roads and in good condition weather ( no off road, and no dirt use ). The bike was purchased for use on the paved canyons and roads of the Rocky Mountains ( which are right outside my back door....literally :) .......so this bike is considered a very low mileage example for her age. Please study the pictures ( I may add more photos as well .....enjoy the eye candy) Please note; the bike is in pristine condition. The only blemish I can find is that the leather seat has a few tiny areas where there are signs of use / wear and tear. Everything else is excellent as far as I can tell. All of the carbon fiber is in great shape. Any inconsistencies in the look of the carbon parts is from glare and a result of my poor skills at taking pictures. And old man like me who did not own a camera until he was 50 ( Im 60 now, but Im just a point and shot kind of camera person ). =============================================================================================================================================================================================== ===================================================================================================================================================================================================================== Not to brag or anything , but this bike would make a great show piece and or a great addition to any collection or museum . I made it to be enjoyed as much as a piece of art as a specialized machine for riding and exploring the mountain canyons . The bike presently is set up for Sport Touring . Many of the added accessories are on the bike so that it is ridable and functional for long distance and or longer duration use. The accessories can easily be removed to trim off another 20+ pounds of weight if the bike is converted to a more pure Sports format. Please feel free to contact me with any questions thanks for looking :) Please note: I have been asked the question if the bike was upgraded and or cosmetically changed as a result of damage from a accident or something like that. The answer is absolutely not. The bike was purchased brand new and was in pristine condition as I began completely dismantling and reassembling the bike using all sorts of upgrades and improvements . This bike has never been in any kind of accident nor has it had any damage of any kind for any reason. I regularly upgrade my bikes , and often do this with a brand new machine even before I will ride it. Thank you all for your interest and Questions Ebay messages are the best way to reach me .......phone or fax is only OK if you are a serious potential buyer warm regards Doug aka daotoys1 :) Serious inquires only may call me (303) 761-4626 home and business phone and fax Between 8AM and 10PM Mountain time ( Colorado USA )

MORE EXTRAS AND ACCESSORIES ADDED TO THIS LISTING I WILL THROW IN A GENUINE BMW LEATHER SPORTS TOURING JACKET and a BMW heated electrical VEST with the bike if the buy it now asking price is used to purchase the bike. Pictures and details available upon requestIf you have not read this description recently , Ive added quite a few expensive upgrades and extras to the listing PLEASE NOTE: There has been some changes and some corrections made to this listing description. I know that the economy is in a weakened state and for many people, money is tight and that its become harder and harder for most of us to make ends meet let alone have extra to buy a custom bike for our recreational pleasure. Im also asking that any potential buyer to be able to make an immediate deposit upon the purchase of the bike ( either from buy it now or from an accepted offer ). The exact details of the bike purchase is to be worked out by buyer / seller discussion. THIS SECTION OF THE LISTING EXPLAINS THE BIKE AS IT IS CURRENTLY SET UP< AND LISTS ALL OF THE UPGRADES AND CUSTOMIZED COMPONENTS THAT WILL GO WITH THE BIKE PURCHASE The listing explains the bike in great details and there are enough pictures to give the viewer a good idea of what is for sale here. Also FYI, the bike can be set up to the buyers wishes. And private viewing of the bike is available upon request. This bike is my latest of a number of custom built BMWs . It is a true work of art that was made with no holds and no limitations . The best components that money could buy were use and or custom made for this one of a kind bike ( an often mis used phrase , but it fits in this case ) I am not looking for a trade or partial trade ; however I might consider a new or mint BMW HP2 Sport ( non ABS if available), or perhaps a nice BIMOTA could catch my attention. I hope you enjoy the listing and the pictures posted on the bike Thank you for your interest Sincerely Doug aka daotoys1 (303) 761-4626 PLEASE NOTE .......I CAN BE VERY HARD TO REACH BY PHONE.....I OFTEN DO NOT GET MY MESSAGES ( TROUBLE WITH MY ANSWERING SET UP ) THE BEST WAY TO REACH ME IS BY EBAY MESSAGES Englewood Colorado USA ( ENGLEWOOD is just south of the Denver city limits ) FS BMW R1200GS Carbon Fiber and Titanium full custom sports touring bike This is a one owner bike ( senior owned and ridden only in good weather and on paved roads / no dirt or off road use ) For sale; My superb full custom BMW R1200GS super sports touring project bike. The amount of upgrades and level of detail is to much to list here. Including some of the take off items, and a set of the BMW saddle bags and mounts ( for longer distance use ). Serious inquires only For more details, and or pictures or to set up a personal viewing of the bike please contact me; Located in Colorado USA Near Denver..... Doug Olmsted . PRICE......I forgot to put in a price......this is a very good question. And yes, it does work as good as it looks :) Im located in Colorado near Denver and the bike is available for viewing by appointment only. Contact me for details. Enjoy the ride:) I may add some more about the details when I can...... thanks for looking Addendum; Ive gone over the bike and have added more details about the many upgrades and improvements done to the bike. They are CNC machined from billet and the shape mimics the cylinder head shape of the R1200 series engines Braking wave rotors / discs front x2 and rear Billet reservoir caps Carbon fiber gas tank panels (all ) Carbon fiber FI covers Carbon fiber front fender / fairings Carbon fiber side panels Carbon fiber BST wheels Carbon fiber tire valve caps Carbon fiber fenders / huggers front and rear Carbon fiber rear mud flap / wheel guard Carbon fiber oil cooler fin Carbon fiber forward engine / belt cover Carbon fiber cylinder head cover guards Carbon fiber front and side fairing panels ( all ) Carbon fiber air box side panels / guards Carbon fiber transmission case cover guard Carbon fiber rear drive shaft case cover guards ( all) Carbon fiber rear wheel drive gear case cover guard Carbon fiber brake light switch cover guard Carbon fiber rear brake lens cover guard Clear special rear brake light and lens assembly Carbon fiber fluid reservoir cover guards Carbon fiber rear fender rack guard and accents Carbon fiber and titanium tie down points Carbon fiber and titanium crash guards / sliders ( all ) Carbon fiber rear rack carry case assembly ( not shown but comes with the bike ) Carbon fiber shift lever / shaft guard Carbon fiber heel / exhaust mid pipe guard Carbon fiber side cover guards Carbon fiber and titanium handlebar ends Carbon fiber tail light cover / guard Special tail light assembly + lens Carbon fiber brake light switch ( rear brake pedal ) custom Carbon fiber hand guards Billet frame plus throughout Carbon fiber rear brake reservoir guard ( custom ) Carbon fiber cover for under seat storage ( custom) Carbon fiber huggers / fenders front and rear Carbon fiber rear brake line cover Carbon fiber and titanium rear brake caliper guard ( custom) Rear brake pedal toe pad enlarged / billet piece Carbon fiber skid plate / engine guard Stainless steel lines (all / custom lengths) Billet oil filter cooler / fins Stainless steel oil filter assembly ( cleanable / reusable ....better filtration and better flow rate than OEM ) Carbon fiber and titanium tie down points on rear rack and bike Enlarged center stand pads / with carbon fiber and titanium accents Carbon fiber front fork guards ( custom) Carbon fiber rear license plate brackets Carbon fiber windscreen guard ( custom) Billet BMW roundel(s) Carbon fiber starter cover Carbon fiber exhaust guard and dual muffler bracket Adjustable billet shift shaft lever assembly Locking oil filler cap assembly w/ key Billet finning on front shock assembly body to improve cooling ( custom ) Rear shock assembly has 2 riding modes with remote reservoir and quick change to riding setting ( solo vs dual rider or light vs heavy load ) Fully adjustable windscreen assembly True xenon hid light system with magnesium guards Aluminum and carbon fiber oil cooler guards Bike comes with tools, manuals, CD , 2 pumps for suspension tuning ( one portable pump to keep on / with bike and one shop pump assembly ) Carbon fiber everywhere......basically every thing that you see that looks like its carbon fiber is real carbon fiber. If I come up with anything else of importance Ill add it to the description Thank you for your interest The tank bag, tail bag and teddy bear do not go with the bike Question regarding mileage; The average mileage of a comparable BMW R1200GS is over 40,000 miles . I will add more details when I get the time Please study the pictures ( I may add more photos as well .....enjoy the eye candy) Please note; the bike is in pristine condition.

2012 Yamaha FZ6r, The FZ6R... easy to handle, big time fun to ride. The 2012 Yamaha FZ6R has a special ambience that makes you feel comfortable the minute you swing a leg over the seat. It is a sports bike that does not make any earth shattering claims; just a bike that will leave you smiling after each and every ride. Perhaps you are just getting started in motorcycling or have been around long enough to recognize that fun is not always determined by engine size or horsepower. Somewhere between cruisers and supersport bikes exists a genre simply known as sports bikes. The FZ6R fits perfectly into the less intense sport bike world with its easy to control power, light weight and low seat height. A slim compact chassis complements the fuel injected engine and its very linear throttle control. No lap records here, just a bike that inspires rider confidence and is a blast to ride. Innovative FZ6R features like adjustable seat height make it easy for beginning riders to get started. A rider in the market for an entry level or commuter 600cc bike doesnt have to compromise performance or style to get value. The FZ6R is a great combination of performance, handling, and exciting sport bike style, but also with a low seat height thats both adjustable to fit a wider variety of riders and also narrower where it counts to make it even easier to put both feet on the ground. The engine delivers smooth power just the way todays rider needs it, brisk acceleration with plenty of torque that makes it a pleasure to get around town, with lots in reserve for when you want more. This is certainly not a no frills motor. Its derived from the FZ6 motor, fuel injected and tuned for outstanding low to mid engine performance. Even if your primary goal is commuting to school or work, you want to be able to get out and have fun riding some twisty back roads. The FZ6R is ready to put a grin on your face! The diamond-shaped frame, made of high-tensile steel pipes using the engine as a structural member of the chassis, becomes the foundation for handling performance. Its designed to provide the right rigidity balance to contribute to smooth cornering performance. When it comes to putting power to the pavement, the new FZ6R uses nothing less than quality radial tires, 120/70R 17-inch front and 160/60R 17-inch rear. And this bikes excellent stopping performance is due to dual 298mm front discs and a 245mm rear disc, both with comfortable to use controls.

The FZ6R is a great combination of performance, handling, and exciting sport bike style, but also with a low seat height that's both adjustable to fit a wider variety of riders and also narrower where it counts to make it even easier to put both feet on the ground. The engine delivers smooth power just the way today s rider needs it, brisk acceleration with plenty of torque that makes it a pleasure to get around town, with lots in reserve for when you want more. This is certainly not a "no frills" motor. It's derived from the FZ6 motor, fuel injected and tuned for outstanding low to mid engine performance. It's designed to provide the right rigidity balance to contribute to smooth cornering performance. When it comes to putting power to the pavement, the new FZ6R uses nothing less than quality radial tires, 120/70R 17-inch front and 160/60R 17-inch rear. And this bike's excellent stopping performance is due to dual 298mm front discs and a 245mm rear disc, both with comfortable to use controls. 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT, EXTRA NICE BIKE! TRADES WELCOME, WE DO SHIP! 614-883-5800 KAWASAKI S VULCAN® 900 CLASSIC LT BRINGS A NEW LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE AND STYLE TO THE MID-SIZE CRUISER CLASS This motorcycle has saddlebags, a special seat, passenger backrest, and windshield as standard issue. Kawasaki is matching the introduction of its new Vulcan® 900 Classic with another new model with added performance and style. The new Vulcan 900 Classic LT will find a place right alongside its sibling when it comes to acceptance by a wide audience of riders, but the classic LT will be particularly attractive to those seeking an out-of-the-crate cruiser dressed up for cruising around town, or ready for open road touring. This new V-twin entry for Kawasaki delivers all of the same riding characteristics as the Vulcan 900 Classic featuring a category-leading 903cc engine displacement combined with big-bike look and feel, and torque to spare but does it in an eye-appealing invitation to those for whom touring represents the ultimate get-away. Kawasaki accessorizes the Vulcan 900 LT with saddlebags, a special seat, passenger backrest and an adjustable windshield. The only add-on that doesn t show-up on the showroom hang-tag is the riding enjoyment that this new Vulcan addition will provide its owners. The stylish saddlebags are made of reinforced top grain cowhide that has been carefully selected to minimize leather flaws and deep-dyed so the finish can t be scraped off. These perfectly sized bags provide a slant-top opening, fastened with two 1.5-inch wide leather straps that feature chrome buckles and quick release stealth fasteners. Rounding out the look of these bags is an embossed Vulcan logo on the reinforced, dual panel lids, and chrome plated brass stud accents. Helping to protect both the bags and their contents are metal reinforced upper edges to help maintain shape, and rolled and riveted top lids to help keep unwanted moisture out. The seat and passenger backrest combine to offer both comfort and a look that helps this touring machine take its place among the most stylish on the highway. The seat is detailed with chrome plated brass studs to match the bags, while the classic, tombstone-shaped passenger backrest sports identical studded appeal. This long, low ride takes wind protection seriously; thick, optically correct acrylic plastic is used for the windscreen that s shaped to smooth the airflow around the rider. Once past the packaged look of the new Vulcan 900 Classic LT, the motorcyclist finds himself astride a ride that previously was only found with larger cruisers. Based on much of what has propelled acceptance of Kawasaki s Vulcan 2000, the two new 900 Vulcan models deliver exceptional roll-on acceleration, easy maneuverability, and performance the equal of larger displacement competitors. Curved engine fins add visual interest to the tradition
