I have a nice Mini Chopper for sale. It was built in 2004 and given as a gift to a friend of mine. I don't know much more about the build. It has hardly ever been used and has not been ridden at all in the last few years. I estimate it has 30 miles on it at most. This is a custom bike that does not have a VIN number and I don't have a title for it. It runs and rides well. Everything works on it. It could use some TLC from sitting but nothing major. As you can see in the pictures this bike is a carbureted single. I think it is a Chinese engine but I don't see any markings on it that provide the manufacturer. I am assuming Chinese because it has electric start and closely resembles as Honda engine which is typical for the Chinese replica motors. It is a 3 speed transmission with the automatic (centrifugal) clutch. The electric start is nice and it has a CDI ignition. The parts used in the build are nice. The front-end is a strong setup and the one-piece aluminum wheels are well made. The custom exhaust looks cool and sounds good. The frame is steel with quality welds. The tank is straight forward tear-drop and the paint is good-rider quality. I have owned a number of older motorcycles and sold a few of them on eBay. I'm not entirely sure how to value this mini-chopper. I took a look at the parts and thought about what it would take to reproduce it in time and materials. We will try to get one of this bike. It was a barn find. This type of Honda Z50 M mini trail has the red frame with white fenders. It was first released in 1967 to the European, Japanese and Canadian markets. It became one of Honda's first ever mini bikes. This one is the European model. It does have Iowa paperwork and is located in southwest Iowa and that's where it will need to be picked up. It has a torn seat and was running when stored in a barn years ago. Has original key. Tanks are good with no badges. Tires are up. Has headlight, speedo and tail light. Exhaust under pegs. Has air cleaner, heel and toe shifter, good fenders, fold down handle bars that work and look straight and the fold down seat works. Chain is froze. 1971 Honda CT70 is currently registered and street legal. Have California Clear Title in hand. 3519 miles. Original engine, 3 speed transmission, no clutch. Bought it approx a year ago, it was stored in a warehouse. Since then, it's been stored in my garage. Overall the bike is very complete and in good shape. Typically starts on first kick. Clutch works great, shifts smoothly. Doesn't leak oil or gas. Has the original ignition key with helmet lock. Oem sealed beam front head light. Horn, speedometer and lights all work properly. Frame has original paint, and is very straight. Fenders are yellow, I believe they're original, but I've never seen another one with yellow fenders. Same goes for the air filter and muffler, both are black rather than chrome. Seat frame has cracks under it, and the top front right fork tube has some dents in it. Front shocks are springy, and may need to be rebuild or just add oil. I usually ride this bike around my neighborhood and check the mail with it.
