This 1996 KX250 starts easy and runs like a champ. The engine is from a 2001 KX I bought in 2006 and it runs very well. I've put less than 10hrs on it since I bought the engine. I have receipts and everything to back that up. Just compression tested at 175PSI.New stuff:New rings/piston. Front fork seals are new, rebuilt the carb. Grips and renthal bar are new. Offering an exceptionally clean and well maintained 2004 Honda CR85RB Big Wheel Expert Motocross bike. I purchased this bike this past summer (2014) for my son, who was a beginning rider. Although a 2004, when I bought the bike, it was as new as when it left the showroom floor. It was completely original (except for the Renthal handlebar setup), had barely been ridden and clearly never saw any mud. Reportedly, the previous owner’s son rode it around in the grass of their back yard a few times and then lost interest. On the sides of the frame where your riding boots normally rub, the paint had no visible wear. The bike was brand new. Since then, my son has ridden the bike on a small track that I built in my back yard for a single season. It still has never seen any mud. Nevertheless, he quickly outgrew the bike and now it’s time to move on to something bigger. The CR85 Big Wheel is a full-blown motocross bike, only in a smaller package. The power is awesome and the suspension is great. The fork oil and seals have been changed, along with new Factory Connection springs (this summer). The rear shock seals and oil have been changed as well. The top end was professionally done about 20 hours ago with a new Wiseco piston and ring. The jug has a cast iron sleeved cylinder (original bore diameter), as opposed to the Nickasil alloy generally found in these bikes. The crank bearings are tight and have a long way to go before they’ll need any service. I installed a set of Boysen Reeds and a carburetor spacer kit to help improve the bottom end. The exhaust has been upgraded with a Fastech Racing Manifold that uses o-rings, as opposed to the oem formed steel sleeve/gasket. This eliminated the seepage that’s inherent to the stock setup. It also has a new Pro Circuit Platinum pipe and silencer setup that improved the performance from the mid to upper range. The front tire is still the original - and both front and back are at about 80%. The sprockets have been upgraded, along with a quality Renthal O-Ring chain. Other upgrades include an oversized Mishimoto radiator and silicone hoses. The Twin-Air air filter was cleaned and oiled regularly, along with the gear oil (Lucas Synthetic). We only ran premium gasoline with Lucas semi-synthetic pre-mix at 40%. You’d be hard pressed to find a cleaner CR85, and one that has never been raced, beaten and continually crashed. Nothing on this bike has been hacked, botched, “Mickey-Moused” or otherwise. It’s clean, solid and ready to go. I’d estimate about 50 hours of total riding time. It still has all of the original plastic and even the factory decals and labeling throughout. It comes with all of the factory original parts, including the complete exhaust setup (like new), fork springs and the radiator (like new) and hoses. I do not have the title, but will provide a bill of sale. Local sales only. I'm not offering, nor will I even consider shipping this vehicle. It must be picked up in person. Thiss 1978 Yamaha YZ250 is a true low hour unrestored all original barn find that I purchased it from the original owner 3 years ago. The original owner told me that the bike was lightly and sparingly trail ridden in fields and pastures for a while when new and never had any work done to it except that way back when he had the seat cover professionally replaced due to it getting a tear in it when it was in his garage, its a perfect job. The original tires actually are a perfect indicator of the hours this bike actually has on it! The bike sat idle for the better part of  30+ years and when I bought it, I cleaned the carb, new plug, new air filter and oil in the gear box and it fired up on the 3rd kick. It has basically been stored in my garage since for the last 3 years, and has always been stored inside since new. It usually starts in 1-3 kicks, and it runs very VERY strong and perfectly, and even idles well. (I race a modern 450 and vintage 1981 Maico 490s) The trans and clutch are perfect. Still on its original IRC tires. The rear shock feels like new, firm with excellent damping. The forks hold air and function as they should (feel like crap compared to modern forks!). All original plastic (still decent), and fork boots (no tears), and even straight unbent original handle bars. The pipe has some minor dents in the lower front head area. The original chain and sprockets are still nice. Even still has its original kick stand (remember when MX bikes came with them!) The original frame paint is still in nice shape with just some minor ankle rub wear on one side and on the underside of the engine cradle. If I was restoring it I would not repaint the frame and just do proper touch ups where needed. This would be an amazing start to do a museum 100 point restoration, or just go over it and prep it to race some vintage Ahrma motocross events. This is the true Bob Hannah era YZ 250, the year he dominated motocross and supercross in the 250 class. PICK UP ONLY. I have a full 1 1/4 mile modern motocross track at my house and any serious buyer is more than welcome to come and ride it and go over the bike in person, actually I would prefer that! Again this is a 36 year old MX bike, so there is age related wear from just storage as well as minor use. There are NO warrantees on the bike as they did not even come with one when new!!!
