2004 Husqvarna 450 TC. Used motocross bike. 4 stroke competition. This bike works as it should. It has been well maintained and is mechanically sound. Front tire is near new and rear is about 80%. This bike is for an experienced rider. Don't even think about this for a kid. It is as fast as the 490 Maico seen in one of the photos except that it handles, brakes so much better. At 57 years old it is too much for me. New battery, new carburetor, chain and sprockets are good. The side panel graphics are peeling. Electric start. Located in Millville Pa. Local pick-up only. If you need more photos or want to take it for a ride let me know. There are the normal scratches and marks from use. The front rim has two slight edge bends that do not affect sealing or driving. I am very careful about my descriptions having gone on many wild goose chases to see bikes and cars that turned out to be in far less condition than advertised. I am sure many of you have been in the same boat so I will do my utmost to describe this so that there are NO disappointments or surprises. 1973 Rickman rolling nickel plated MX chassis with manufacturers plate still in place reading 11/72 and S/N 6968 Z. Someone painted frame silver but we spent 5 mins cleaning a partial frame tube and shines beautifully although there are some spots near engine area that show rust thru paint. It has some motor mounts welded in place but they can be removed and new ones made up to fit your engine choice. I was told plates were for a Hodaka and originally it was for a Zundapp motocross. Picture a Ducati single or whatever. Has Rickman rear hub and conical front hub and Betor forks. No title but can get a clear New Hampshire title within 3 weeks of sale for an extra $100.00 if needed. Please feel free to contact me thru eBay with any questions you may have. Please note that I use my own picture service so you get larger and higher quality photos and I took many to show every aspect of this bike so you get no unwanted surprises. It has never been raced, never abused and ridden only in the woods and on the Michigan trails. I have the actual original Bill of Sale from the Dealer from 1975, the original Michigan Registration from 1975 and the original KX400 Shop Manual that all go with this bike to the winning bidder. Please see these items in the pictures. You are buying a piece of Motocross history here. Original D.I.D. rims, original spokes, original Mikuni carb, original everything. The KX400 was a dominant bike in the Open Class back in the day. Very lightweight for an Open bike. It would also make a great bike for a museum, or, to run in the AHRMA, although the bike is so nice, I don't know if I would want to race it. All components are original except the rear fender which is is an aftermarket. I now have the original front fender on the bike. You can have the aftermarket one if you wish. I also have a new correct front brake lever for the bike. The bike has had a new set of rings installed and a few other things here and there over the years and I also have the receipts for these items. This motorcycle starts easy runs great and is very powerful. Shift through gears great. Could use a clutch cable but works ok for now. Brakes work but rear brake needs some working in and sticks a little. This Bike is jetted for 4200 ft Utah. Great shape for the age. Runs and drives. Needs front exhaust springs. Has only one wrong spring holding it on. No air filter. Gas tank is pretty clean and is showing only a small amount of rust inside. New chain and main jet Carburetor leaks a little when gas if turned on and seams to only leak if tipped on kick stand mostly. This bike is old and is sold as is with no warranty or returns. The Bike is in Holladay Utah 84117 and I can help shipper load.I believe it's a 1976 but it does not say on the bike what your it is. Seller is responsible to find out what year it is if that is important. No title bill of sale only on old bikes in Utah so I put salvage on the title because nothing else fit.
