I WILL BE ATTENDING THE VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL AT BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK IN LEEDS, ALABAMA THIS WEEKEND AND WILL DELIVER THE BIKE TO YOU THERE FOR FREE. You're still welcome to pick it up from me locally here in Southeast Georgia. This is a 1972 Honda SL100 motorcycle. It has 1,680 miles. It runs great and everything works like it should. I'm selling the bike because I really only use it one weekend a year (the weekend of the Vintage Fest at Barber). This is a great bike for anyone looking for a reliable and fuel efficient vintage bike. The bike has lots of new parts on it. The tires, inner tubes, gas cap, fuel valve, chain, and air filter all have less than 50 miles on them and the battery is brand new. The head was recently replaced due to the old head having a cracked valve guide. The new head has new guides, seals and a fresh valve job. While the head was off I had the piston and rings replaced and the cylinder honed as preventative maintenance. The carburetor was recently cleaned and works great. The original float needle had a metal tip and metal tip needles are notorious for slowly leaking, so it has been replaced with float needle with a rubber tip that seals much better. The bike has what appears to be the original key. This one key fits the ignition, the helmet lock, and the fork lock that all work perfect (and a sweet vintage G.I. Joe keychain that was on it when I bought the bike). The bike was painted about 4 years ago. The painted body parts look great with only a few imperfections, mainly a scratch on one of the side covers (I made sure to get a picture of it). This is a 42 year old motorcycle and while it is a good looking bike it hasn't had a full restoration and does have some imperfections. All of the chrome on the bike was pitted when I got it, I've done what I could to clean it up and keep it from getting any worse but the pits are still there. The fork seals leak. The rear shocks have some rust. The paint on the frame looks good overall, but does have some imperfections. The seat is in really great shape to be the original, but does have one small tear near the helmet lock. The exhaust had a dent near the end of the muffler that was braised(a type of welding, so it's all metal and no body filler that's going to crack or fall out due to the head of the exhaust) and ground smooth before being painted with high temp ceramic exhaust paint, the paint has slightly discolored near the head where the pipe gets the hottest. If the bike hasn't sold before I leave for the Barber Vintage Fest I will be bringing it with me, so if you're there and want to check it out just let me know, I'll be glad to meet up with you. 1981 Kawasaki 750 LTD motorcycle- 516 miles Up for sale is a 1981 Kawasaki 750 LTD motorcycle. I purchased this bike from a local estate without a title and I am in the process of obtaining a Virginia title for the bike; I should have the tile by the end of January 2017. I am selling the bike now with the understanding that if you are the winning bidder you must pay a $200 non-refundable deposit; if I fail to obtain a title, your deposit will be refunded.The Kawasaki motorcycle was purchased new by the original owner in 1981; the Chesapeake city sticker and 1982 Virginia license plate are still on the bike. The odometer shows 516 original miles; my guess it was driven for one year and then stored away in a building for 35 years until 2016 when I acquired it. The original key is included and it will open all locks on the bike and will also work the ignition switch. The chrome has a lot of pitting and rust as you can see from the pictures. The gas tank full of crud from old gas and some of it ran down the gas tank. The gas tank lock was frozen with crud, which I was able to clean & lubricate; now it works fine {see pictures|. The fuel valve and gas filter were also full of crud; I cleaned these up. I flushed the gas tank with alcohol as best I could. The fuel valve was in the off position so I don’t believe the old gas was in the carbs; however you should plan on having to clean the entire fuel system. I connected a battery and the lights work. I was able to shift the transmission into neutral as was indicated on the status light {see picture} and was able to start the engine with ether. I opened up the brake fluid reservoir and the brake fluid had dried up into a pasty power; so the entire brake system will have to be cleaned out.The seat on the bike is like new with a couple of tiny spots of damage, please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a 2009 Yamaha R6S with 32k miles. I'm very happy with it and drive it every day. Gets 35 - 45 mpg depending on how I ride. I'm selling it because I'm leaving the country for a while - I'd otherwise just keep it forever.Original owner dropped ~20k miles ago on the left side. All non-cosmetic issues (if any) were fixed. I've ridden it for 3.5 years since with no issues; perfect for a daily driver as it won't stay pristine either way. Used for commuting, weekend twisties, and long distance trips - works well in all aspects. Left mirror folds and this bike isn't very wide for a sports bike, splits easily for me.Oil, filters, and brakes were done in the past ~500 miles. Replaced rear brake caliper and rotor recently as well (needed new seals). Needs new tires within a thousand or so miles. The dashboard has the backlight, brights indicator, and right turn signal indicators out - headlights and turn signals work fine, just the console/dashboard display. I'll try and fix it before selling (not sure how difficult they are to reach), but otherwise be advised they burnt out.
