This unique motorcycle was designed by the Honda Automotive design team and is hands down one of the best bikes Honda ever produced. It can haul 4 bags of groceries in its trunk, get 50 mpg touring, and has been the most maintenance free motorcycle I have ever owned. Its hydraulic valves never need adjustment. Carbs were rebuilt and synched when I bought it, an it has run flawless since, with no adjustments. These bikes have a strong almost cult following and a very strong national online users group. These bikes hold their value well and the 1989 model even with higher mileage will fetch over $3000.This bike is not perfect. It has cracks in the fairing from when I lived on a dirt road for 8 months. I took my bike to the "dark side", that is I installed a small car tire on the rear. The effect is amazing with better stopping power, stability, cornering and tire life. With luck you may never need to replace it. The PC800 has a big online following and here is info about the ark side and everything else:Ebay will not permit a link, so google PC800 and dark side tire.... I also added a 12v charging point, outlets for two 12 volt accessories, a volt meter, a critter warning siren, auxillary horn, modulated headlight, and a jack for heated gloves. Included is a Killean removable trunk luggage bag, which can hold up to 30lbs of gear. It is attached to a securely mounted welded passenger backrest bracket.This bike has just under 43K miles on it, they commonly go way over 100k because they have hydraulic lifters.I am selling the bike only because I am moving across the country and do not want the added expense of moving it, and I am pushing 60 and have multiple back issues.
