Okay. Just like you, I know the chopper craze is over. However, if you think about it, what that will do will be to eliminate all the half-done amateur bikes, the wannabes, the homebuilts, the tacky overdone "theme bikes," and all the other custom bikes of low or dubious quality. What will survive will be the beautiful sculptural pieces of rolling art like the motorcycle I have listed here. This particular bike has a story. It was bought from the manufacturer, Precious Metals Customs in Woodstock, GA, by Lynn Jones of Lynnco Custom Cycles in Cleveland, TN, with the intent of donating it as a fund-raiser for the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation of Chattanooga. The exquisite paint and pinstriping were done by Chris Cruz Artistry of DeLand, FL. The motor is a completely polished 100 ci Ultima, transmission is a polished Baker 6-speed, and forks are by American Suspension. It has a 3-inch belt primary drive, all chrome. The oil tank is hidden under the transmission and the rear brake is a drilled disc located on the transmission countershaft. It has a 300-series rear tire and the three-spoke wheels are beautifully chromed. Every weld on the frame is perfectly smoothed giving the appearance that is was molded out of one continuous piece of tubing. All lines and wiring are routed internally through the frame or fork tubes giving is an extremely clean appearance. There are no handlebar controls and no speedometer or tachometer. Since there is no speedometer, I do not know the mileage, but it is obviously very low. I listed 1000 miles in this ad as I was forced to enter a number by eBay. The motorcycle was given away as the grand prize of a fundraising raffle for the Foundation at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival in 2007. The Steve Miller Band was the headline act that year, so Steve Miller signed the tank in gold. Small paint drops were added to symbolize the fireworks at the festival and the signature was clear-coated along with the rest of the paint. The bike was named The Eagle by Lynnco after the famous Steve Miller Band song and the eagle heads Cruz painted on the sides of the tank. I cannot stress enough the quality of the this bike. The paint is absolutely gorgeous. The chrome is flawless. It is truly a piece of rolling sculpture that looks as though it belongs in a museum. It is completely rideable and ready to go right now. It has been ridden in the past, so it is not absolutely perfect, but it is very nearly so. I really need to sell it and I will happily consider any and all cash offers or partial or even trades. I did not win this bike. I am the third owner and got it in a trade myself. Any trade offer you present will be considered and I will respond to it. I will not simply ignore offers like so many people tend to do these days. I appreciate your interest and you will hear back from me! Thank you for looking and please contact me with any questions or offers.

Very clean version of one of Harley's best models. Only 22,000 miles. Engine mods include Crane "Fireball" Cam, SE adj. pushrods and valve springs, Wisco Hi-comp. forged pistons. Compufire ignition module. Nice Landmark Wheels 21 inch chrome front rim replaced the old asian part it came with. Polished solid rear rim. Other nice extras are the Willie&Max bags, Python exhaust, Owners Manual, Harley Service Manual, two keys, the works! Have other bikes, so I just don't ride this one much any more. Old enough and rare enough now that it turns heads.. It's destined to be a classic. The only real flaws are a little paint flaking and wear of the black engine paint on the cases and primary. Please read before clicking buy-it-now or sending an offer, the bike is for local pickup ONLY, I will not ship it, however, I am wiling to meet up to a 100 mile radius of Chattanooga, TN. Selling a 2006 Honda CRF230F, that when purchased, did not run and was in really rough shape; it was pretty much a parts bike. After many hours of labor and new parts, the bike now runs, but smokes (appears white) after it is warmed up; it does not smoke on startup. I believe the cylinder needs to be bored out, resleeved, or replaced as it has new piston, rings, head gasket, and valves are in spec so that is the only thing I can think of as to the cause of the smoke. I am just tired of throwing time and money at it and just want to get what I have in it. Rear tube has a slow leak, I will include a new one; mileage and hours are unknown. I have test ridden the bike a few times and the transmission shifts fine, brakes work great, suspension is plush, no weird noises or oil leaks. It starts in just a few pushes of the e-start and overall would make a great entry level bike once the smoking is taken care of.New parts:Front(Dunlop D952F 80/100-21) and rear tires (Bridgestone M604 100/100-18) Front brake pads and tusk rear brake shoes Battery Piston, rings, and Athena gaskets Front and rear wheel, linkage, and steering stem bearings RK 520 chain Front and rear sprockets Clutch and front brake lever Motion Pro clutch and throttle cables Renthal bars and grips Shifter and OEM gearshift spindle Uni air filter Daystar fork boots OEM front sprocket cover Many OEM bolts, seals, and screwsRefurbished parts:Seat base and seat coverOther maintenance or modifications:Rebuilt carburetor with new jets (120 main and 45 pilot) and gaskets; thoroughly cleaned as well. Rebuilt front forks and rear shock with all new OEM guides, bushings, and Pro Honda suspension fluid (5w in shock and 10 w in forks). Crank and entire bottom end inspected. Cylinder honed (ball hone) for new piston/rings. Valves inspected and adjusted. Repainted frame with factory color (NH146M). Recoated muffler and header pipe. Powder-coated foot pegs and chain adjusters. Lots and lots of cleaning!I have a spreadsheet with the complete breakdown and digital service manual that I will include with the bike as well. The OEM plastic is rough in spots, but is still usable. A new graphics kit would make it look great! I decided to leave cosmetics up to the new owner, but I will clean the plastic up as much as I can.Since the bike was purchased as a parts bike, I did not receive a title, so it will be sold with a bill of sale and is sold AS-IS without warranty. No shipping, local pickup only.
