At the core of the V-Rod sits the company’s legendary liquid-cooled, revolution, 60° V Twin engine which puts out a peak horsepower of 115 at 8,500 rpm and has a redline of 9,000 rpm. There are a couple of small scratches on the top of the gas tank and the top side of the belt guard has some pitting in the chrome. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The wheels look great and the tires still have plenty of tread left. Not much to say on condition. It looks very nice with a couple of minor blemishes on the front fender. At the very front of the fender, there's three small scratches, one on the right side, one on the left side, and one right in the center. We have even provided pictures below so that you can see exactly what they look like. They are purely cosmetic and do not affect any function of this bike. This machine proves that more can be less by taking minimalist styling cues from WWII-era "bobbers" and the custom choppers of the 1970's. Features like mini ape-hangar handlebars, the classic Fat Bob fuel tank, wrap around rear fender, and chrome spoke wheels provide a powerful styling statement. It all starts with the Twin Cam 96 engine. This engine is a 45-degree, air-cooled V-Twin that was first released for 2007. It is most distinct from earlier Harley EVO engines by virtue of its more efficient oil pump, silent chain cam drive, directly attached transmission, and a no wasted spark ignition system. The transmission is a 6-speed manual shift that's geared for everything from town cruising to interstate speeds. 1st through 3rd are perfectly at home through town keeping the bike moving or pulling hard for when you want to get from A to B quickly. 4th and 5th really buzz once out of town and 6th is super tall to make interstate highway speeds less dramatic. These extras really add up to make an already amazing machine even that much better. Condition: This has to be one of the best looking cruisers we have seen come through our dealership period. The chip on the gas tank is not much bigger then how round the ink cartridge is in a normal writing pen. These areas are purely cosmetic and we have provided pictures below so you can see what they look like. The scuff is right in line with the light reflection, and the chip is right in the head of the picture takers outline on the tank. The 2015 YZ450F is the next iteration in a long list of award winning dirt bikes from Yamaha's stable. It is improved from the 2014 model by way of it's new EFI mapping, new suspension valving and springing, easy to use Dzus fasteners for the airbox lid, new gearing, 20% lighter throttle spring, and new motor mounts. It all starts with an extremely powerful 4-stroke that is an absolute blast to ride. It is liquid-cooled to handle the extreme performance that the 449.7cc, Dual Over Head Cam (DOHC), Titanium 5-Valve'd engine produces. The engine is backed up by an awesome 5-speed manual shift transmission with a fully manual clutch. This engine produces 59hp making it the most powerful 450 on the market. This bike also has Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI makes hard cold starts a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just fire it up, put it in gear, and you're gone. The front suspension is a Kayaba Speed-Sensitive System inverted forks with 12.2" of suspension travel. The rear suspension uses a Kayaba monoshock with 12.4" of suspension travel. It uses a hydraulic brake in the front with a single 270mm disc and a single hydraulic brake in the rear with a 245mm disc. If you're reading this, then you probably know about Yamaha's legendary racing heritage. There are a few high performance 450s on the market, but the YZ450F is truly at the top of the list. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many hours or miles it has on it. What we can say is that we see a lot of bikes each year, and this is one hasn't been abused. It was a local owner trade who wanted a Side x Side. The engine is perfect and fires quickly. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, suspension, etc. The tires are almost new with lots of tread remaining.The plastics are excellent with very few light scratches here or there, but this is a used machine so some should be expected. There are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it has obviously not been crashed and totaled. The only real blemishes on this entire machine are a few small scratches on the rear fender, front number plate, left side fo the air box cover, and a couple dings in the exhaust pipe.
