The V-twin motor provides excellent power off the line and carries it all the way to the rev limit, unlike an in-line four cylinder found in most sport bikes that require you to ride in the higher rpm's in order to create power to the rear. The SV1000S rider is positioned a little more upright, as the foot pegs are not as far back as a traditional sport bike, and the handlebars aren't as low, giving the rider more comfortable ergonomics that creates the ability to ride further, and longer, without having to stop and rest the back and/or arms. Suzuki did not cut corners when it came to styling the SV1000S model either, as it has the upper fairing and belly pan for increased wind and weather protection that also add nice styling cues, and gives it that "super-sport" look. You haven't lived until you've accelerated hard out of a corner on a Suzuki SV1000S with the dual Yoshimira exhaust humming beneath you, and it has the handling to match its impressive power plant, which is fully adjustable in both front and rear. Although it has 17,911 miles on it, it runs like a top and has been serviced by Suzuki trained and qualified technicians. The tires have are in good shape and have plenty of life left on them, along with the chain and sprockets. It does have some very light cosmetic damage that I tried to capture in the pictures. It looks like it was dropped while traveling under 10 miles per hour. Non of the panels are cracked or broken, and the damage is mainly on the right side of the bike; the upper right side of the front fearing, right side mirror, right side belly pan, right side muffler, and windshield. However the tank, rear right side plastics, and the whole left side of the bike seem to have escaped without damage. All of the levers and bar ends seem to have been replaced as they are in proper shape without bends or scratches under them. I tried to make sure this was documented in the above pictures but some of it was so light, it was hard to capture. With a little TLC it can look brand new again, or it can be ridden as it sits now, because its only light cosmetic scratches that provide proof the bike was not at a high rate of speed when it fell. I will be glad to provide more pictures for those who want them, or help look up pricing for replacing the scratched pieces. However I have priced the bike accordingly considering its condition, mileage, and extras. The versatility the SV1000S offers, is stupendous and I truly believe the new owner will have a blast on the bike, once they discover the capabilities it has to offer , if they are not familiar with them already.
