My uncle had some motor work on this bike, with upgrades including the Stage 3 kit, including a 103 cubic inch motor, block bored, heads re-worked and more. I am going to try to get as many receipts as possible on the engine upgrades. He is also giving me the original parts, pipes, etc., to include with the sale. This bike has a quick-release back rest, Screaming Eagle pipes, and a Screaming Eagle Air Breather. This bike also has the big fat back tire, it says Dunlap D205, so it's a 200mm. This a custom motorcycle that was professionally built in 2007. I do not own this motorcycle but am good friends with the man that does. I am the builder of this bike so I am qualified to answer any questions you may have. The original owner has had the frame, engine and wheels since the 60's. In 2007 I completely dismantled it and started over. I stretched and raked the frame (pictures of my fixturing and equipment in my shop show I'm not an amateur). Engine was completely gone through with a shovel front head and a pan rear, as many stock parts were used in rebuild, head work was done by STD to insure proper alignment and cam lift was equal front and rear while using two different head designs. New paughco narrow springer. Avon whitewall tires 21 front and both have been smoothed and rechromed. Most every part was made by myself or partner. Karata 3 inch belt drive. We machined the name of the bike in the top of motor plate before chroming "Nasty Bastard". 6 speed transmission. Exile 50 tooth sprocket brake. Most everything is chrome other parts are polished aluminum or stainless. Days before bike was complete my friend was in a bad motorcycle accident that has left him crippled by drunk driver to the point he can't lift legs high enough to straddle a bike so it has been parked in his game room on display. I personally rode it to Indianapolis and back (roughly 130 miles to check for any issues) his son rode it maybe 800 miles around town. After payment is received you are welcome to come ride bike and if your unhappy for any reason your money will be refunded in full. For sale is a very clean, never abused dual sport with many high dollar aftermarket parts. Only 1,125 miles as of now. Look at the pics of the tires. They are like new with the nubs still on the side. I had it serviced at the dealer this past spring and installed a new AGM battery. The best parts are the FMF Q4 pipe with a properly tuned Dynojet kit and the Renazco Racing seat. Other options are a Battery Tender with wiring, Moose Racing handlebar protectors, Touratech map holder and a rear luggage rack. Comes with a factory service manual and tools, spare key, about 2 quarts of oil and a new filter as well as the factory pipe. Not installed but great items are the Unabiker Racing rad guards and a headlight kit from DDM Tuning. The rad guard should just bolt on but the light will require some minor mods to install. We purchased this from a New England Estate. The condition is unknown. It is missing parts and pieces. The components that are with it look to be in restorable condition. The motor spins freely, but the pistons and the connecting rods are gone/missing. The VIN is stamped - 0-1656. No doubt this may be the key to finding out what year production it is from. WE DO NOT KNOW. Our research (BING search) revealed that this motors were used from as early as 1910 to as late as maybe 1920. Our best guess is that the one we are offering is most likely 1913 or 1914. These motors were used in SEARS motorcycles, Scripps Booth, Cyclecars, Dayton Motorcycles, the Minneapolis Motorcycle and many others. They were built by the F.W. Spacke Machine Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana. There are some internal stampings, which are among the photos we posted. IT IS SOLD AS-IS - FOB Lynchburg, VA.
