This bike was designed looking to reward its riders with a commanding riding position and a huge amount of raw power, the 2004 Harley Davidson V-Rod is a real masterpiece of design and technology. At the core of the V-Rod sits the company’s legendary liquid-cooled, revolution, 60° V Twin engine which puts out a peak horsepower of 115 at 8,500 rpm and has a redline of 9,000 rpm. The Revolution engine is an extremely durable motorcycle engine. It survived the most brutal and aggressive durability test in the industry: the Dusseldorf Test. Simulating a grueling trip along Germany’s notorious Autobahn, the engine endured a wide range of performance tests. From idle sitting to city speeds, and from wide-open throttle to mountain climbing, the Revolution engine surpassed the goal of 500 hours of non-stop punishing performance. There are a couple of small scratches on the top of the gas tank and the top side of the belt guard has some pitting in the chrome. Item Details: Let me start by saying that though this is a heavy bike, get it moving and it's really quite manageable.I normally enjoy the idea of less is more. Give me a light bike and I'm in love with it, that's what I enjoy.But this ignites a completely different and alien interest. It's so incredibly smooth, from the engine to the ride itself. I completely understand why these motorcycles exist and feel completely confused why more people don't own these. Sure, it's a bit tough to push around, but honestly even rolling, this bike feels stable as if it were on big gyroscope and then discovered that was the purpose of this things massive engine. Porsche was one of the first vehicle manufacturers to use the flat engine configuration due to it's balance and smoothness. And due to it's design layout, it provides a lower center of gravity, excellent for bikes and cars alike.In a car there are drawbacks, such as longer exhaust or difficult to reach spark plugs and more, however on a motorcycle, the exhaust pipes become art and spark plugs accessibility is made far more simple. The engine in this bike is a work of art and absolutely brilliant. And due to it's size and smoothness, it operates as a gyroscope keeping the vehicle incredibly well balanced and poised, even at idle speeds. The throttle input has absolutely no jerk what-so-ever you might find from a V-Twin and definitely has enough power to really dig the back tire in. Might have some weight, but it's no slouch. This motorcycle is a Goldwing convertible, really. Stripped out a little bit, with the top box removed and a few features not found, but otherwise, it's got everything a Goldwing has with the added plus of being able to throw it around a little more easily. I'm willing to bet any rider would enjoy this bike. The Goldwing F6B (Standard) comes without heated grips or a back seat. It offers plenty of power for long cruises as well as the comfortable ergonomics that you want.Thoroughly modern performance is courtesy of the 942cc V-twin engine, specially tuned for low-revving torque, and maintenance-reducing features like a belt driven final drive. This engine delivers maximum torque at only 3,500rpm! This allows cruising to be super easy and pure excitement is only a wrist flick away. Best of all, the V-Star 950 is a huge bargain, giving you a big-bike ride without some of the big-bike price tags. It also pays when it comes time to fill up, too. Great overall performance while still staying very fuel efficient delivering up to 47mpg. If you're ready to turn some heads in a big way, and appreciate a bike that's never going to go out of style, the Yamaha V-Star is the machine for you. The chassis of this V-Star offers one of the lowest seat heights in its class at only 26.6" allowing it to fit shorter riders while offering taller riders that lowered custom feel.
