Item Details: Let me start by saying that though this is a heavy bike, get it moving and it's really quite manageable.I normally enjoy the idea of less is more. Give me a light bike and I'm in love with it, that's what I enjoy.But this ignites a completely different and alien interest. It's so incredibly smooth, from the engine to the ride itself. I completely understand why these motorcycles exist and feel completely confused why more people don't own these. Sure, it's a bit tough to push around, but honestly even rolling, this bike feels stable as if it were on big gyroscope and then discovered that was the purpose of this things massive engine. Porsche was one of the first vehicle manufacturers to use the flat engine configuration due to it's balance and smoothness. And due to it's design layout, it provides a lower center of gravity, excellent for bikes and cars alike.In a car there are drawbacks, such as longer exhaust or difficult to reach spark plugs and more, however on a motorcycle, the exhaust pipes become art and spark plugs accessibility is made far more simple. The engine in this bike is a work of art and absolutely brilliant. And due to it's size and smoothness, it operates as a gyroscope keeping the vehicle incredibly well balanced and poised, even at idle speeds. The throttle input has absolutely no jerk what-so-ever you might find from a V-Twin and definitely has enough power to really dig the back tire in. Might have some weight, but it's no slouch. This motorcycle is a Goldwing convertible, really. Stripped out a little bit, with the top box removed and a few features not found, but otherwise, it's got everything a Goldwing has with the added plus of being able to throw it around a little more easily. I'm willing to bet any rider would enjoy this bike. The Goldwing F6B (Standard) comes without heated grips or a back seat. This bike has been stored in a garage and under cover its entire life and never spent a night outside, the gorgeous sinister blue pearl/silver paint still looks showroom new. The bike has had an extensive amount of performance work and upgrades done to it that includes cylinder head, cam, carburetor, exhaust and ignition as well as dress up parts. It has bad boy seat and saddlebags, chubby bars, Stainless braided clutch and brake lines, Stainless braided oil lines, sissy bar, and lots of other chrome. We just changed the engine, primary, transmission oils and oil filter. This unit comes fully serviced and PA inspected for one year and has passed our rigorous in house 95 point inspection. Warranty: The vehicle is being sold with a 30 day limited warranty which covers any and all power train defects in that time period. We specialize in Japanese and European sportbikes and we know the models we sell inside and out. Being a smaller shop we are able to keep operating and overhead costs lower than that of many of the larger dealerships and can pass that savings on to the customer. We are also able to do business with our customers on a much more personal level and we personally do our 95 point safety inspections on each bike that we sell. Most major dealerships do not perform nearly as extensive of a safety inspection as we do on our bikes because they simply can't afford to spend that much time looking over an individual unit. We take the time to pull the fairing & bodywork and actually check to make sure every component that we can access without major dis-assembly is tight, secure, and in good serviceable condition and we mark it with a washable paint marker to show it has been verified. We do this not only because we want to make sure every vehicle sold by us will provide many trouble free miles but also because we have been in the business long enough to know that even with regular maintenance things can loosen up over time and we want to make sure every bike we sell is a safe as possible for the customer. A wildly comfortable bike with it's massive sub 1600cc parallel twin propels a content rider and this two wheeled piece of art to their destination, turning heads and be able to pass petrol stations without worry. The parallel twin engine promotes better cooling for both air cooled and water cooled engines, as both cylinders are cooled uniformly, instead of a v-twin where the front is cooled more efficiently. Oh, and did I mention this parallel twin making 108 ft/lbs of torque and could get about 50 miles to the gallon? Also, you don't need the high octane fuel, it can run on 87. It's a budget torque monster. The seat is wide, but not in a leg splitting manner. It's rider's position is welcoming, with the legs forward like a standard cruiser.
