For sale is a 2007 SportClassic Biposto in showroom condition. This SC1000 has just over 3000 miles and is completely original - down to the OEM tires, factory stickers, and battery. Due to the rarity, this bike was specifically purchase to be kept totally original and at low miles ( I have another SC1000 that gets the miles and the modifications). This bike has only been serviced professionally by certified Ducati Technicians from the dealer, and has only used Ducati specified parts and fluids.The original tool kit, owners manual, red key, and service cards are included, as is a Ducati SportClassic Parts catalog and the official Ducati SportClassic technicians repair manual. I have vehicle history reports to provide (Sept. 2014) if you like from two different sources. This Sport Classic was kept in a climate controlled garage its entire life; accompanied only by the other SportClassic, a Monster, and a Ducati Superbike.If you are unfamiliar with the specifics of the SportClassics you should know that the 2007 was the first year of the Biposto (two seater configuration) as well as the first year of the raised clipons (the 2006, and the 1000s have lower clipons which are harsh on the wrist). Black is one of the most uncommon of all the colors/configurations on the SportClassic; and is a notable due to the press it received from being featured in a 2010 Disney movie (yes, that movie; yes this is the exact same type of bike down to configuration and color). 1986 Honda Cb 700SC NIGHTHAWK, I am selling my 1986 Honda CB700sc "Nighthawk S". All stock, excellent condition. 13,600 miles. No mods. The only add-ons are a custom-made rear rack (rare) and a pigtail to the battery for a trickle charger (and a Slipstreamer clamp-on windscreen which I am keeping), easily removed to return to all stock. This is the last year (84-86) that these great bikes were imported. 700cc in line 4, shaft drive, UJM standard. Recent maintenance in the past 12 months include new tires front and rear, synthetic oil change, brake fluid and gear oil change. New fork seals. Starts and runs well. Battery is strong. This bike needs nothing. The bad? Very little. Small scuff on side on fairing, small rock chips down low. The PO JB-welded one of the mounting tabs on the back of the side covers to reinforce it, and it appears touched up the paint on the side cover. Well done and not noticeable from 5 feet. But I am being picky. It would take very little to make this a show bike. Reason for sale is I have only put 700 miles on it since owning it. This is too nice of a bike to leave sitting, and I will not ride this rare bike on dirt roads / forest service roads where I do most of my riding. Located in SW Colorado / Durango. Five years after Triumph introduced the popular 1,050 cubic-centimeter Sprint ST sports touring bike, the British marque has introduced a new model with greater practicality and more emphasis on the 'touring' aspect of 'sports touring': the Triumph Sprint GT. As you would expect from a British machine wearing the famous Grand Tourer tag, the Sprint GT delivers outstanding real world performance in a practical and stylish package. But this should not be construed that the Sprint GT has lost the sporting edge that made the Sprint ST one of the most popular and enduring bikes in the Triumph range. Of course, practicality is the GT's hallmark. The bike also features new 31 liter panniers, standard ABS brakes, a 200-mile fuel range, an optional top box that is capable of accommodating two full-sized helmets, and a 12 volt power supply that allows 'on the go' charging of electrical items such as laptops and mobile phones. The result is a motorcycle with a different feel to the Sprint ST, biased more towards the 'touring' side of sports touring than the Sprint ST's 'sports' - a composed machine with precise and intuitive handling to keep up with sports bikes on demanding roads, but equally delivering the comfort required for a long two-up ride cross-country. "The BMW R 69 S VIN 658506 was manufactured on February 10th, 1964 and delivered on February 14th, 1964 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat." The BMW R69S, produced from 1960 to 1969, was BMW’s sport bike of its day. With 42 horsepower, it was by far the most powerful bike BMW made at the time. You had to pay to play ($1,564 in 1966), but that extra money bought you one of the most prestigious motorcycles available in the day. This is one of my favorite motorcycles of the 1960’s. But I’ll leave the explanation of why that is to Cycle World, who put it best in a 1962 review: "Whatever the BMW’s merits in a contest of speed, it is still the smoothest, best finished, quietest and cleanest motorcycle it has ever been our pleasure to ride. To be honest, we think that anyone who would worry much over its performance-potential is a bit of a booby. The R69S is fast enough to handle any encounter, and it has attributes that are, in touring, infinitely more valuable than mere speed. All things considered, if we were planning a two-wheel style vacation/tour, the BMW would have to be our choice of mount."
