SPECS: This is a Custom built sportbike 1/1 The whole concept behind this build was to bring simplicity to an extremely complicated bike. For starters, the braking and suspension system: Braking: The tokiko 6 piston calipers (a true nightmare if not rebuilt properly) have been taken apart, the chambers honed, pistons polished on the lathe and seals replaced, result = one finger stoppies.New wavy rotors installed in place of the old OEM ones and new pads The front forks have been rebuild with better springs and sealsIn the Rear, the over engineered rotary damper and spring (the infamous rotary damper i should say) was thrown in the trash followed by a brief celebration in the shop.I'm still wondering what Suzuki's engineers were thinking when they came up with that thing. In its place, we installed a modern fully adjustable rear shock that does the job at ¼ of the weight of the OEM setup. Frame: The OEM subframe was discarded in favor of a custom built one. GSXR Gas tank and Custom tail section: Adapting a gas tank meant to gravity feed carburetors to work with a fuel injection motorcycle wasn't exactly a piece of cake, after a few days in the work i managed to make everything work like it came from the factory. The tail section was handmade with fiberglass, gel coated and painted The whole new Gas tank / tail section setup was engineered in a way that can be taken apart without tools for a super fast maintenance. The wiring was simplified where possible, and relocated within the frame lines (between gas tank and motor) exception made for the ecu, positioned as far away as possible from heating sources. The Numbers:Originally known as an incredibly heavy sportbike228Kg /503lbs wet,Producing 135HP (120 hp of which at the wheel)with a power to weight ratio of 0.53hp/kg after the “treatment” the ALPHAMILLE finally feels like the type of bike that you can really squeeze all the potential out of. After scoring a WET weight of only 420lbs (190kg) over 80 lbs lighter than stock and a Dry weight of 390lbs (176kg) this bike now places itself amongst the lightest production sportbikes available on the market even compared to newer models. There are margins of improvements available regarding the weight.It wouldn't be too hard to get into the 400 lbs Wet by installing lighter wheels, 520 chain, removing the lower radiator. The bike is in excellent condition. There is some bluing of the pipes. I'm extremely careful with upkeep of the bike. Oil has been changed every few hundred miles. Starts right up and has been dead reliable. The motor machine work was done by APE using their parts and Wiseco 1075 pistons. Crank has been welded so it won't twist. Heads were lightly ported by APE when they did the machine work. Has APE cams, springs etc. All new charging system and electronics including Dynatek ignition. Frame is powder coated then striped by HotDog. All the sheet metal was painted by world famous Pete "HotDog" Finlan. it was painted with HOK paints. I just put a new set of Pirelli Night Dragon tires on it front and rear. The Dakota Digital guage shows MPH, Tach, Mileage, Trip, High Beam turn signals. It's all hooked up and working correctly. I, Duane Ballard Custom Leather, built the bike in 2013 as one of the invited builders for Born Free 5. The following year it was shipped to Yokohama Japan as a featured bike at the Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod and Custom Show. It was featured in the 45th anniversary issue of Street Chopper Magazine. I built this motorcycle for myself last summer at a hotrod/restoration shop I worked at. I has a Harley Davidson Evo 1340cc engine that is practically brand new with low miles on it. It has been punched out a some and has a nice sounding cam in it. It also has a revtech 5 spd trans in a 4 spd case. It is kick start only (easy to kick) with open belt drive but I do have a brand new electric starter, and inner and outer primary if someone want to put it back with kick and electric start. I just like the old school look. It was custom built from the ground up starting with old style shovelhead swing arm frame that is custom painted and changes color. It has solid struts on the rear and springs under the seat. It can be put back to having shocks on the rear if the swing arm is changed. Has a sportster tank that was customized with a machined brass crown gas cap and a customized right side petcock. I painted it black and airbrushed praying hands were put on both sides of the tank and racing stripes down the middle to match the frame. The rear fender is also a custom fender that has been cut and has raised center rib and custom mounts. I also painted it to match the gas tank. It has new custom forward controls, machined hand grips, brass headlight, custom mounted rear taillight, new brakes front and rear (chrome dual calipers and rotors in front and a polished exile sprotor for the rear). The seat and the seat pan was custom made for the bike. It also has a brand new Carb, Mallory ignition, dyna coil, new wiring harness, new battery, new charging system (stator and voltage regulator), new tires (front and rear) , diamond spoke wheels, and so much more. The bike has hardly any miles put on it since it was completed. It may have 500 miles but I doubt it. and is always garaged kept. It is practically brand new. I also have some extra parts I will include with the bike (inner and outer primary, new electric starter, and some other odd and inns I have. Pictures do not do it justice. It gets a lot of attention and I always get asked how many shows I have put it in and why has it not been in a magazine. I have a clean and clear title in hand in my name. Custom Construction Bobber up for sale. Just completed, runs and rides excellent!! I built this bike over the last two years, its a labor of love and I hate to see it go, but its time for the next project. I have rode it a few times just to keep the fluids moving and the battery charged. It isn't perfect or a show winner by any means, but definitely a great bike for someone who wants to ride and isn't looking to spend a ton of money. The frame is a Straight Up Choppers frame bought from Demon Cycles, zero up zero out, 30 degree rack, powder coated gloss black. The front end is a DNA Gloss Black 2 under stock length. Front wheel and tire is a 21x2.15 60 spoke chrome, 90/90 21. Rear Wheel and Tire is a 18x8.5 60 spoke chrome, 250. Motor is a 1997 Sportster 1200 with a five speed transmission painted black. Motor runs very strong, new clutch pack, new plugs, and all new gaskets, totally freshened up. New stock ignition, coil, and regulator. Custom fender fabricated by me with struts and mounts. Bung King 3.5 quart Round Oil Tank filled with synthetic fluids. Bung King Battery Box filled with stock equivalent Sportster Battery. Assorted Bung King Mounts used throughout the build. High Torque Starter brand new. S&S Super E Carb brand new and properly jetted. 3.1 gallon king peanut tank with custom filler neck and petcock located to get the most fuel out of the tank. Autometer speedometer properly calibrated and currently reading 22 miles. Wires Plus custom wiring harness, with brains and key switch/starter located at the top motor mount. Two buttons on the motor mount are starter and headlight dimmer. Handle bars are 12 inch apes with exile internal throttle. All tig welded. Everything is powder coated gloss black except the fender and tank, which are dark blue. I am sure there are some small things I am missing, but if you have a question please ask and I will be more than happy to provide feedback. I have receipts for all the parts. The bike will come with an MSO for the frame and a Bill of Sale for the motor. There is no warranty for the bike. I have hundreds of hours of labor in this custom bike, and again I hate to get rid of it, but its time for another project. I am willing to deliver the bike via trailer up to 150 miles or so for the cost of fuel. But if you are the buyer something else may be worked out or negotiated. It doesn't hurt to ask. Other than that Shipping must be arranged by the buyer. I will not pay for shipping the bike. Recently serviced with regulator replaced and checked out at a local shop (I have a receipt if you would like that).Miles will continue to go up as I occasionally ride it but not much. This is a really clean bobber with a custom paint job you won't see on another bike at your local watering hole guaranteed! It has a led custom made shotgun tail light no worries of bulbs breaking or burning out been there done that. Its a "Harley 80 cu in Evolution" motor from factory not some Asian aftermarket junk so parts if needed are easy to come by at your local Harley dealer along with the proven durability of the evo motors. It has matching spoke brake rotors with chrome calipers front and rear. It has a 200mm Avon rear with a avon 21" front tire both in good shape and a pre 1999 wide glide chrome front end with chrome flh legs. The speedo is a digital one from wires plus very sharp looking with easy to read colors an no cable to worry about along with a wires plus wiring harness they are the best in the business. It has the old school shot gun pipes which fit the look we were going for here as a 70's bobber with updated accessories also has led blinkers that are almost impossible to detect unless you turn on the turn signals very cool at night when you want people to see you. One thing that is different than the pics I am using is now the bike has seat springs and not a seat shock as it was too stiff and the springs make it a much more comfortable ride.
