Gorgeous 650SS (Sports Special) Vintage Cafe Racer. Exceptionally rare, especially in the states. Original Slimline Featherbed frame. Older restoration with premium Brit parts. Alloy tank, Manxman solo seat, rearsets, Goldie Pipes, Concave headlamp, Hagon rear shocks, Amal concentrics with chokeless velocity stacks (stock monoblics tend to flood in the downward angle to the head). Wassell bars. Lucas Magneto. Matching numbers engine to frame. Matching aluminum front fender included (I prefer off). Purchased several years ago from an older enthusiasts estate. Had not been driven in a while so I gave it all new fluids, new K70 tires (150 miles on them), fuel hoses, Brit petcocks, both carbs rebuilt with Amal kits, throttle cables. Plugs & wires, adjusted valves, NOS brake switch, Speedo cable, Many consider the 650 Nortons the most desirable due to the smoother operation before going to 750-850cc, which brought more vibration. This bike is an absolute runner. The handling of this old beauty makes you swear it can't be 52 years old. Is it perfect? Don't be silly, it's a 60's British classic. Normal oil leaks. Lights are reliable. Beautiful Smiths dials work great. On occasion the horn works. The small stuff doesn't bother me. I would rather keep as much as I can intact & original. Does not smoke. It has had a conversion to use a Mity Max electronic control which works great, eliminating the battery etc, but at idle the lamps go dim as no battery to pick up the slack. NY inspection had no issues, check your state laws to be sure. Easy conversion back if you want to add weight & get a tick slower. :) NY State does not issue titles in pre 74 bikes, so you get a transferable registration that you can bring to your DMV. Odometer shows about 1000 miles, so that I assume is after the restoration many years ago. True mileage unknown. Several manuals & a few small spares. If you look up Cafe Racer, you will see a picture of this bike. Hurry up before I come to my senses. $12500. $500 deposit on PayPal, balance within 7 days. Cash or transfer, cashiers checks ok but may have to wait a few days to clear.

1966 Norton Other , Due to "MATCHLESS" not being one of the available posting Brand names, Norton was the next best thing, since they are extremely closely associated, as those of you aficionados know. Here is a 100% restored 1966 Matchless 750 twin cylinder. it is in stunning shape! I prefer trading toward the right '50-'56 plunger twin, but would sell outright. This is a matching numbers show-level G15 CS bike that has had over 15k invested in it and it is the last year of Matchless that was produced in the actual "Matchless" factory, before all kinds of merging of various British brands and outsourcing started to happen. Additionally, there were only 500 of these produced, so they're about as rare as hens' teeth, as for the Matchless marque. EVERYthing has been rebuilt/restored/re-worked on this classic beauty. It is a show bike in every sense, but if you wanted to ride it, get ready, because it thunders with the 750 cc motor. Recent new tires make it perfectly road-ready. Starts on about 3rd kick, dead cold. Restored Tachometer and Odometer, which shows 1450 miles since rebuild. To finish it perfectly, the bike only needs a couple of rubbers for foot-pegs, kick start and shift lever. Here is the only reference I could find that's even close to what my bike is all about: http://www.britcycle.com/bikes/forsale/JSonny_66_Nor_Match_G15CSR.htm As for my wish of a trade scenario, I'm interested ONLY in most 1956 or below BMW "plunger" type twin cylinder bikes, (not R50 or R60 or /2. Perhaps the right R69 or R69s) so let me know what you have, if this bike talks to you and we'll go from there. Boxer twins: R51/2, R51/3, 600 cc R67, R67/2, R67/3, R68 (built from 1950,1951,1952,1953,1954,1955 to 1956, '50 '51 '52 '53 '54 '55 '56) ********************************************************************** ----------------------CALLS ONLY please 5o3nine98three78six $10,900.00

I have a 750 Atlas motor that needs the top end reinstalled fresh bore .20 over with new pistons, rings and copper head gasket ready to go. Top end gasket kit included, Norton Transmission Primary with clutch basket. A pair of 930 Amals A real Norton Roadholder Front end with Front wheel. Norton Rear Wheel Laced to a 16 inch Harley rim An ugly Norton Frame with a bolt on/ tached on hard-tail ( With title) All the engine and Transmission Mounting brackets This was a basket case I bought with some other project I do not know any history. You have a mix of older N15 parts (front end, N15 frame modified and '67 title) and later Commando engine parts. For example the clutch cylinder, barrel, carbs and motor mount are Commando which was first introduced to the US in 1969. The frame and front end are from an N15 There is a lot of value here Engine is worth $1200+ roadholder an easy $500 Tranny $500+ Frame and title no numbers on frame that I can see $500 + Carbs $100 Wheels $150 each Primary and clutch basket $150.00

This obviously needs complete rebuilding. Or, it may be best suited for parts, you be the judge. First the good. No apparent cracks or missing fins on the outside of the head, cylinders or cases. Inside has some surface rust on the cam but the bottom end has oil on everything. Engine spins freely. Trans shifts smoothly. Next the not so good. Top frame rails removed, as happened back in the day, for a different tank. Nevertheless the frame appears straight to my eye. Wheels are rusted to the point of being good for hubs only. Not sure if the front end is a Roadholder. Long crack in the left slider and one fork leg buggered at the top. Only appears to be single leading shoe. Rear wheel fits into the frame. Cylinders probably need sleeves. The other frame in the back of one picture is not included and will be listed separately. Basically I'm asking for what a relatively complete engine with magneto, a transmission, and assorted parts are worth. I have no title. Vin is 20 117919. Matching frame and engine#'s. I can load it onto a 4x5 pallet and strap it down but I assume no responsibility for its safe delivery. There are undoubtedly assorted pieces missing. I would rather not ship internationally because of past hassles. No offense to int'l buyers intended. If you want to buy it you would have to trust my 100% score and send me the complete funds including shipping (not paypal) which, when cleared , I will release the bike.

Being a retail and wholesale leather motorcycle apparel store, a full-service motorcycle shop, and a shop that builds custom motorcycles, we have the opportunity to allow payments from Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and PayPal. Call for details: 320-243-3797WE SELL WORLDWIDE 1971 Norton Commando, no title. It's pretty much complete, but it's in rough condition and needs restoration. At one time, one of our mechanics removed the top end. The pistons were standard, and in fairly nice condition, and the bottom-end was tight. The con-rod bearings were solid and the cams were undamaged. So we considered freshening up the top-end and getting the bike running. But there was so much thick oily sludge in the bottom-end, we felt the crankcases should be split and be more thoroughly flushed and cleaned. We reassembled it -- so-to-speak -- to safely store it until we had time to overhaul it properly. But I have nearly 30 Nortons awaiting restoration, and at 68 years old, I realize I'll never have time to restore them all. So I have decided to sell this one. As it sits now, the kickstarter works and the engine turns over smoothly and freely. We didn't inspect them, but the valves and rockers are installed. Push rods are not installed but are included. The inside of the gas tank looks excellent. Transmission shifts through all gears. Clutch and primary seem good to go. The air cleaner element is missing. Tachometer is missing. Left header pipe is not useable. Mufflers are missing. All cables need to be replaced. Gas cap is missing. Side stand works well. Center stand is missing. Lots of nuts and bolts are missing. Right side cover is missing. No title. Any motorcycle parts that you do not see are NOT included. Please study photos carefully. Feel free to ask for more photos of this Norton. We restore vintage motorcycles, so we can restore it or build it into a chopper, bobber, cafe racer, or any custom design.
