A Brand New 60's Triton. I started with a 1966 Norton Slimline Featherbed frame, stripped it, filled any discrepancy's with brass (nicks, extra holes, etc.,) then polished it, then media blasted, then powdercoated, THEN sanded and Buffed it ! (this attention to detail was carried through the complete build) The motor is a 1968 Bonneville T120R, which I totally stripped, and the Engine cases, Cylinder head and rocker boxes were shipped to Bikesalot in Oregon for Vapour cleaning. I added 750cc cylinders and pistons, so the complete Reciprocating assembly was shipped to Lindscog in Massachusetts for balancing, (which cost $360 including mallory). The motor was then built using all new bearings, seals, valves, springs etc., Front brake is a GT750 4 leading shoe unit, and the forks are Norton Short Roadholders with custom fork seal/gaiter holders that I machined to hold the oil seals in the legs, and also locate the fork gaiters with a tight fit so as not to have to use hose clips (a much tidier finish). I also included a pic of me "jeweling" the motor plates (just something I used to do on the Triton's and Tribsa's that I used to build in the 60's)Pretty much everything on the bike is brand new. It starts first kick, and is fun to ride. Bike is actually Titled as 1966 Triton and is free and clear. Call norm @ (573)445-8827 with any questions. Good running motorcycle. Its been very reliable and has never given me issues or fail to get me to my destinations. It's not perfect cosmetically, it's not a show bike so if that's what you want then this bike is not for you. Fiberglass tank is solid but paint has some scratches. Fiberglass oil tank is nice, and fiberglass seat is solid but leather cover has some scuffs here and there. The frame is a 1964 Norton Atlas, and powder coated, both front and back fenders are too for that Manx look. Both 19" Rims and spokes are brand new, laced to a front TLS and rear brake. Avon tires are new too. Forks are rebuilt, new bushings and seals. Swing arm has copper bushings. The '65 T100R Daytona unit engine has about 3000 miles since rebuilt, converted to single carb. The right side header has a weld due to hairline crack few years ago, it's been solid since. I consider this bike my daily rider, it's been garaged these last couple of years. Reason for selling..??.. Now a dad! Please ask questions if you have any. This bike is sold as is and where is. I bought this off the Michigan Norton Club President Dave Smith about 12 years ago. He was in a fatal accident and his collection was sold off. I purchased this Triumph Dunstall her personally restored, a 1969 AJS Stormer and a 1967 Norton P11 he restored. I have since sold all but the Triumph. Now it is time for it to find a good home. Complete rebuilt of motor & trans, brakes, electrical, suspension. Motor is a racing combination of the TR6R Motor Case with a T120 Heads and twin racing carbs. It is a beautifully executed combination of a low mileage 1968 Triumph Bonneville and a Dunstall package specifically designed for Triumph and the race track. The Racing components include the powder coated frame, stunning Dunstall alloy tanks, Dunstall exhaust and factory racing alloy rims. She is extremely well built with a handsome fork system and exhaust system. Again, this motorcycle has been fully, mechanically & cosmetically restored to museum quality. The bike has not been raced or run (except for a start up check out procedure limited road testing) or ridden since the complete restoration. The speedometer shows 234 break-in miles. The beautiful alloy rims really look great on this bike. In summary, full mechanical restoration, beautifully finished Dunstall racing package and a very rare motorcycle indeed.
