The Multistrada 1200 feels spacious and accommodates both rider and passenger in complete comfort, even with the top case and side luggage in place. Its 1530mm (60.2in) wheelbase ensures that not only the weight of the passenger remains inside the wheelbase length, but also that of the side luggage when loaded, a considerable contribution to the motorcycles dynamic performance. Underlining its multi-tasking intention, ergonomic attention was even applied when designing the riding position while standing on the footpegs, off-road style. The Multistrada 1200 offers a Bosch-Brembo ABS system, which is fitted as original equipment. It's use is reserved for models of historical significance.The finish on this bike from primer to clearcoat, unlike most production bikes, was carefully finished by hand by Kawasaki craftsmen. You get twice the layers of clearcoat on this bike. The paint used on this bike is similar in appearance to what has been used by top custom builders, this is the first time it has been used on a mass-production vehicle in either the automotive or motorcycle industries. Strict Kawasaki quality control measures help to ensure a long-lasting finish. In fact, the only item on this bike where a robot was used to paint, is on the fuel tank. Built right here in the USA in Marysville, Ohio. Even today this is one bike that will turn heads, and blow the fenders off others bikes at the stop light. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean. Here is some info that might peak your interest: Balance. That is the word that best defines Honda's Valkyrie flagship cruiser. Painstaking refinement that crafts wide-spectrum motorcycles is a Honda hallmark, but the Valkyrie is exceptionally versatile. Although its roots in the full-boat Gold Wing tourer lead many to anticipate a bloated, cumbersome motorcycle, the Valkyrie belies its size. It handles more nimbly yet more steadily than most other brands' cruiser-line leaders, but it retains the comfort and stateliness of the full-dress motorcycle out on the open road. The Valkyrie's claim on power-cruiser status is almost as much visual as it is mechanical. The big, liquid-cooled, opposed-six bulging from the engine room isn't designed to flow with the cruiser mainstream, but it isn't intended to be ignored, either. As with any good hot rod, the engine is the centerpiece of the machine. Six cylinders, six chrome-capped carbs, and six headers heading for two pipes sharing six outlets make sure no one but the absolutely uninitiated will mistake this for another me-too V-twin. (An aside: Every Valkyrie we have tested has brought at least one query of "Is that a Harley?" Onlookers haven't a clue what they are viewing, but they've been told Harleys have big impressive engines and this machine definitely fits the bill.) We are selling this bike in our as-is Scratch & Dent section, the reason is because it has some dents and scratches. The primary has a small oil leak and the rear base gasket is starting to seep. The right side of the gas tank has a huge dent on the right side, the left side of the tank has a few scratches . The exhaust is a set of heat wrapped drag pipes that sound great. The saddle bags are warped from being wet so many times; you could always take them off. The gas cap has a dent; The clutch is strong and the transmission shifts smooth. It has a separate starter button located down by the starter. It needs a good carb tune, rejet for the drag pipes and a possible air leak on the intake side. The seat is split and in very poor condition, it will need to be recovered. We are not going to wash it, change the oil or perform any service on the bike. We can get you a quote for an oil change if you would like us to do it for an extra charge.
