I'm selling my 69 Firebird Scrambler, because I'm just finishing up a 68 BSA Spitfire after over 2 years and don't think I have the time, money, or energy to do another one. Mine was in very similar condition when I started on it. This bike has matching numbers, original key, and a clear title, so it's well worth restoring. And it is a Firebird Scrambler, which is what took the place of the famous Hornet. If you're not familiar with this model, I have furnished a stock picture of what it is supposed to look like. Look at the other pictures to see what you will get. This can be a very rare and cool old bike. If you have any questions or need more pictures, please ask. You’ve seen Reliants on Top Gear, Mr. Bean and Fools and Horses on the BBC but they are nearly impossible to find in the US. Yes, you may have seen this Reliant Robin at Car Week in Monterey. We had a blast meeting so many nice people. We had this car in the paddock at the Monterey Historic races serving as a shuttle along with our Reliant Regal to the delight of tons of racers and race fans. We attended the Little Car Show in Pacific Grove, a sold out affair in its sixth year, and WON! “Most Smiles per Mile” along with a member award. We’re told this is their version of Best in Show. Wow, what an honor. We also attended the Concours d’LeMons. We had a great time and lots of people got to meet, sit in and get photos with the Reliants. It’s the opposite of a real concours where the truly awful are the winners. Thankfully we were not called to the podium. RarityThis is a very early 1975 model Robin SuperVan. This is not a converted Royal Mail vehicle. It is Right Hand Drive. Clear TitleThis Robin has a clear and clean California title and registration. The current California motorcycle license plate is included. Low MileageLess than 75,000 miles accumulated in the last 40 years. This rare car has an enthusiastic worldwide following due in part to all of the attention on the BBC shows like Top Gear and Mr. Bean. Were not sure how many of these panel van models were produced but reportedly very few outside of the Royal Mail fleet. Equipped with the desireable folding rear seat, this van can go from light deliveries to comfortably carrying 4.5 people. Where else can 4 1/2 people, ride a motorcycle, in the rain, without a helmet, at 70 MPH, while getting 70 MPG, and not get wet? Most collector cars are impractical to utilize as daily drivers, however, the Reliant remains in service throughout England and India. Many of these cars have over 200,000 thousand miles on them, as their owners found them reliable, economical, sporty, unique, practical and most of all, fun to drive. This example shows very, very low mileage on the odometer, at just 74600 miles. A complete restoration was begun in 2014 and completed this year. This car features the factory Red paint. The fiberglass body was completely stripped, repaired and resprayed. After a month of curing, the car was color sanded and polished to a high lustre. She rides on factory steel wheels, hub caps and new tyres. The interior is in superb shape. Fresh seating and carpeting and wall covering abound. A bluetooth radio is a nice touch for handsfree phone calls. RIGHT HAND DRIVE! Factory floor shifter. Original gauges in place. Trim is excellent. Fresh tune and oil change by local British shop. This car runs, drives and stops exactly like it is supposed to do. Everything works the way it was intended by the manufacturer. The Build book is complete with many pictures along the way, a photo disc, period adverts, receipts, the owner’s manual and lots of history. If you follow the collector car market, you know micro cars are on the rise. They are easy to own, store, insure and resell. Someone spent a lot of time and money making this car an exact replica and it shows. This car is completely custom and you have to look twice to know that it's not the real thing. It has the 2.8L V6 that came in the Fiero GT but it has had some work done to it and has a considerable amount of extra power. This car is a blast to drive with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission, wide body kit, and the upgraded suspension package. It's as close as you can get besides buying the real thing. This car is a 1 Owner Car that only has 71K Original Miles and has been very well cared for over the years. I talked to the previous owner and he barely drove the car around for years and then started putting the conversion kit on and spent of $45K Plus Countless Hours in making this car what it is today. Under the hood and undercarriage is clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it for a test drive.This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 71K Original Miles The exterior of this car is beautiful. Driving down the road everybody looks at this car and gives you the thumbs up. This Fiero GT has the complete Ferr@ri Testarossa conversion kit on it and it looks sweet. It has the wide body kit, Ferr@ri like wheels, and a complete body kit. You have to really look at it to know the difference. I had a lot of people the are convinced that it is the real thing. The paint is a very nice and expensive paint that has a very nice shine to it and almost looks wet in the right kind of light If you inspect it really close along a few edges and in Misc places there are tiny chips or cracks in the paint. The wood pieces on the doors have flaked a bit more over time and you may just do them and leave the rest.. See Video No biggie just its old paint and Someday will need redone but as you can See it looks GREAT! This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down it has a few small tears in in and also one on the rear window . It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. There is also a lot of switches and a lot of them I'm not sure exactly what they do and havent tested them all. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tucked away and I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome and CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now so I am not sure. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great even 10" Subs behind the seats and Amps. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. This car is sweet and a 1 of a kind. Everything on this car was converted. There are Misc things to do to its and thats why it is so cheap I do not have the time. Here we go! I bought this kit on eBay about 9 years ago. I had every intention of getting it finished and driving all over town. This kit has a completely rebuilt Chevy 350 already mated to the original Fiero 4 speed transmission. The clutch is BRAND NEW and stronger than the original. I couldn't see building one of these with the Fiero 6 cylinder engine. The 1987 Fiero had also already been professionally "stretched" to accomodate the Diablo wheelbase. The cooling system is also complete, featuring an electric water pump and front mounted radiator. I did verify that the engine ran but never actually drove the car as the body is not yet mounted. It does however move both forward and back. The engine does have new headers on it but that's as far as the exhaust goes. The body is complete minus the rear deck (I didn't receive it when I bought it) and the mirror shells (I haven't been able to locate them) I do not have the interior, other than the dash. The interior would need to be custom made anyway, so no big deal. I do have the headlights and I am still looking for the tail lights. I have the door latches and brand new white faced VDO gauges. I do not have the glass although it is available through AGP Inc. Somewhere along the line I got ahold of Diablo tube frame plans(also included) and decided that was the way to go. As shown in the pics, I didn't get that far after spending 1000.00 for steel and another 1200.00 for custom fabricated suspension parts. All of this is also included in the auction. The frame calls for Corvette C-5 calipers, which are also included. It also calls for Honda ball joints, S-10 bearings, etc. which I never purchased but are readily available. It also calls for a rack and pinion out of a Camaro or Firebird. The frame plans are AWESOME, eliminating the need for wheel spacers and allowing for the engine to be mounted more correctly. They would also allow for a beefier transmission, if you chose to finish the frame. If not, the Fiero frame would need very little to get up and running. Don't get me wrong, this kit is going to take alot of time to complete, but you'll be left with a truly beautiful car. I've tried to describe this in as much detail as I could. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me. I just remembered I also have the replica Diablo engine covers which would give the illusion that it was a Lamborghini engine in the car. 2010 Exotic Roadster Exterior Fiberglass Panels to make a Kit CarThis kit shape is also known as a Murcy2 or G28, which is the more accurate kit version of this car. These exterior fiberglass body panels (two layers of fiberglass cloth and resin that you could thickened with more fiberglass layers or a quarter inch layer of bondo to the back sides if desired) are thin and need A Lot of work, they do not have Gel Coat on the exterior so you would have to skim the panels with about $150 worth of bondo body filler (5 gallons) or filler putty, and sand them smooth or have any body shop do it (I could also tell you where to get the Chrome Wrap Material for $200, and how to easily apply it or have it done for about $200). Only the exterior fiberglass panels shown in the first picture are included and do not include a top, side mirrors, or window posts. Shipping is up to the buyer and will cost you about $325 for a 300 pound, 6 ft x 7 ft x 3 ft crate using Road Runner Shipping or any other shipper of your choice, or come pick it up the pieces in a truck! I could give you all the information including buying $200 wheel spacers and cutting and prepping the car with simple tools, a rachet set, an electric sawzall and electric 4 inch grinder ($30 each at any hardware store). There are many affordable cars to mount this on - which do not require stretching the car. You could have a replica kit car running in as little as a week FOR ONLY A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!The cars that you could use (kit wheelbase is 104 inches), and don't require a stretch, are 2001-2005 Dodge Stratus Coupe or 1995-2000 Dodge Avenger (pictured in the first pics, both of these offer V-6 engines and sportier interiors) or 1995-2006 Chrysler Sebring Coupe (also comes in optional V-6, but NOT the 4 door Sebring Sedan since it has a much larger wheelbase) and any Dodge/Plymouth Neon (4 cyl, but if you use a Neon SRT-4, it would be turbo with 240HP). The Ideal car would probably be a 1996-2006 Sebring Convertible (pictured in the last pics, the wheelbase is only 2 inches longer and it actually adds to the look, it comes in optional V-6 and also eliminates the need to cut and move the windshield forward, which allows the windows to be functional, as well as the wipers, side view mirrors, and convertible top!). Although I have never seen one built on these, according to their wheelbases, you could possibly use a 1995-2005 Chevy Cavalier/Pontiac Sunbird, 1994-1998 Mitsubishi Galant, 1995-2005 Honda Civic (coupe and sedan only, not hatchback) and 1998-2001 Acura GS Sedan. You could also use the panels on a stretched Fiero or MR2 or Porche, but that would be more difficult and expensive. It can also be used on F-body cars (Camaro/Firebird) with optional V8, but the wheelbase is 3 inches shorter and the rear seats are further back (I have pics if anyone is interested).You would not believe the attention that these cars get!!! This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down it has a few small tears in in and also one on the rear window . It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. Someone spent a lot of time and money making this car an exact replica and it shows. This car is completely custom and you have to look twice to know that it's not the real thing. It has the 2.8L V6 that came in the Fiero GT but it has had some work done to it and has a considerable amount of extra power. This car is a blast to drive with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission, wide body kit, and the upgraded suspension package. It's as close as you can get besides buying the real thing. This car is a 1 Owner Car that only has 71K Original Miles and has been very well cared for over the years. I talked to the previous owner and he barely drove the car around for years and then started putting the conversion kit on and spent of $45K Plus Countless Hours in making this car what it is today. Under the hood and undercarriage is clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it for a test drive.This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 71K Original Miles The exterior of this car is beautiful. Driving down the road everybody looks at this car and gives you the thumbs up. This Fiero GT has the complete Ferr@ri Testarossa conversion kit on it and it looks sweet. It has the wide body kit, Ferr@ri like wheels, and a complete body kit. You have to really look at it to know the difference. I had a lot of people the are convinced that it is the real thing. The paint is a very nice and expensive paint that has a very nice shine to it and almost looks wet in the right kind of light. This car does have a convertible top that is easy to take up and down. It has a hard shell to cover the convertible top when it is down as well. It has the flip up headlights and everything. I love the Ferrari wheels that are on this car. It really gives this car the look it needs. The tires are a nice set of Goodyear that I would say have at least 80% tread left. These are great tires that have a lot of miles left on them. It has the matching black leather interior. The seats are in awesome shape and show very little wear and are very nice leather. They were really done right and even have the Ferr@ri emblem in them. There is also a lot of switches and a lot of them I'm not sure exactly what they do and havent tested them all. It has a nice aftermarket CD Player and a Disc Changer controller mounted in the drivers door. The way the stereos were mounted they had the backs removed to make it possible to mount in the door. This makes a mess of wires tacked away but I would Change it somehow. Sounds awesome ad CD Changer works but i blew a fuse or something wont power on now. There are speakers mounted everywhere and the music sounds great. This car is completely custom inside and out and you won't find another car like it. This car is sweet and a 1 of a kind.
