1948 AJS 350 model 16.Fantastic looking early bike! Very similar the the models used during wartime. Previous owner had rebuilt the engine, rims exhaust etc. Running strong this summer. There are some signs of wear with some dings here and there in the fender and tank. I would not consider this bike restored, but renovated to make a clean driver. Exhaust in good shape, saddle as well. No speedometer. Headlight replaced and not mounted firmly yet. Imported from Australia 10 years ago, have all paperwork, and sold with bill of sale. Sold as is.

Hello, this is a very clean 90% + restored Ariel 500 single. (restored to its road racing days). The bike was originally raced back in the 1950's / 60's, and then again in the vintage class in the 1980's. The bike has many of the modifications common to a bike like this. It also has a completely rebuilt engine and trans with zero miles on them. The bike was completely disassembled in 2012 and everything was inspected / cleaned / refinished in addition to any machine work needed. The engine has a new sleeve, piston, rings, cam, crank brgs. The head is a big valve alloy unit with new valves and guides. It has a rebuilt lucas racing magneto with a super hot spark. Frame and girder fork are original Ariel units, frame number BP1878. Girder has a gas shock mod in place of the original spring. Wheels are newly built with alloy rims and stainless spokes. New Avon tires. Bike has alloy fenders. Gas tank is nice, oil pressure gauge and tach on gauge are present but not hooked up (tach needs 90 degree drive from cable to clock). The bike is wired with a working headlight and tail / brake light, and runs off battery. Bike has a clean Colorado title, bill of sale will be included. This bike has oil in it and I regularly kick it over by hand to circulate the oil. I am selling for health reasons. This bike has not been started since all the work was done as I'm not able to kick it over due to knee problems. There has been no gas in the tank since being cleaned and lined. This is an easy finish for someone, I'd just like it to go to someone who will finish it and appreciate it. This bike took first place in the British bike show here in Denver last year. Other than taking it to that show no one has ever seen it. Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will help any way I can from this end. Deposit is due immediately after clicking the purchase button, full payment is due within 7 days of purchase and should be in the form of a certified check. Bike is sold as-is. Please ask questions, thank you for looking.

1952 Matchless G9 Super Clubman 500 Twin Motorcycle - I bought this cycle some years ago in a semi-disassembled condition. The previous owner did a great job of professionally powdercoating most of the parts. The cycle is complete save only a couple of small items (left grip, right tank badge). The tank has been painted and tires are new. Seat is original. Smith's speedometer is original. I do not know the exact number of miles. I have ridden the bike and it runs strong. Pretty easy to start. It does leak some oil when parked. It has always been garage kept. I have a clear title and a notebook of photos of the cycle in disassembled stage. I have enjoyed the process but no longer have room in my garage. While I believe the cycle to be in relatively good condition I do not warranty its condition. Please contact me if you have any questions. I offer free local pickup and will also help prepare for any shipping. It is up to you to make any/all shipping arrangements. I am willing to hold the cycle for 2 weeks after the sale ~ Please make arrangement with me if you cannot pickup the cycle within the 2 weeks. Sale is Final British AJS Matchless

Here is a great start for anyone wanting to build a replica of the bike featured on the cover of this month's The Classic Motorcycle Magazine. According to them only a handful still exist in the original format of the 25 or so made. The blue parts in the photos are genuine original items removed when one of these bikes was brand new and turned into an all out racer which was I suppose the whole point of the exercise. That said a few lucky individuals have the real deal but I doubt $100,000 would pry any of them loose so here is the best way to go about it and at the same time end up with a better engine and more reliable electrics. Of course if you should be lucky enough to have an original G50 or AJS 7r engine you can go that route! Minnovation racing in the UK is a source for an engine with many modern internal improvements but retaining the great external patina. . The choice is yours. Petrol/ gas tanks are available from time to time right here on Ebay as are G80 CS mudguards / fenders etc.   If you are curious I purchased the rolling chassis here in Canada a few years ago. It was imported from Venezuela  by a Quebec chap and I am told quite rare on it's own. It had an AJS 500 pushrod motor  when I got it now long gone. Shoot your questions to me I am [email protected]  or 613-273-5036    I can ship this anywhere in the world. Payment by bank transfer.    CANADIANS SUBJECT TO SALES TAX.  Thanks for looking

In 2013, the model was put back into production--at a starting price over $100,000. The specific car offered here is the last known, original unsold 1999 model in existance. It was purchased from an authorized Panoz dealer's personal collection following his passing, by an agent for Roadster Salon. One of only a handfull built in yellow. As one of the last from the original production run-- still untitled, this car has unique collector value among all other examples. Please call to discuss any additional questions, concerns or details. THIS CAR HAS NEVER SEEN THE ELEMENTS AND HAS BEEN IN A HEATED SHOWROOM ITS ENTIRE LIFE. MILES ARE PREDOMINANTLY FROM A SINGLE CROSS COUNTRY TRIP TAKEN BY THE OWNER. FEWER THAN 500 MILES IN THE LAST 5 YEARS, FOR RELIABILITY AND TUNING PURPOSES ONLY. CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN THE TRUNK. Driving Impressions Due to the uinque nature of this automobile's ultra low miles and extreme performance, we were only allowed a brief controlled test drive, under close supervision. The car ran and drove to perfection. We have driven many high-performance cars in the past, but never one with this kind of direct connection to the road. Braking and acceleration were breath taking. The AIV is the closest thing we have ever experienced to a four wheeled sport bike. Instantaneous directional stability with the slightest input. The first official private owner of this car will undoubtedly agree this is the most fun you can have sitting down! Cosmetic Impressions Car is shown as showroom new and all that implies. We found no evidence of previous damage, scratches or dings. Brand new car. AIV notes The Panoz AIV is a performance car that rivals even the quickest poney cars of today. While new Camaros and Mustangs have a bit more horsepower and an extra gear, the AIV still competes with ultra light weight and a beautifully balanced chassis--even without modification. AIV O-60 times in the low 4 second range and a quarter mile in the low 13's complement the car's incredible handling. Collector and investment cars typically find a following due to a unique combination of factors. Styling, performance, low production, technological innovation--are all key ingredients. The 1999 Panoz AIV roadster has all these elements in spades. (212M) Brief Panoz History (taken from previous article) Ask the average person on the street if they've ever heard of a car company called Panoz and you probably won't get much of a response. In the automotive world, however, the name Panoz is well-known and is synonymous with cycle-fendered roadsters, elegant convertible GT cars, and a short but already amazing racing history. The start of Panoz Auto Development actually began in Ireland where Danny Panoz first worked for a car company called Thompson Motor Company. The company was eventually liquidated, and Danny decided to buy the rights to their chassis. Moving to California, Danny and a friend went to work on the chassis, modifying it so that it could fit a V8 engine. "He always wanted to put a V8 in it," said John Leverett, the director of engineering for Panoz who gave me a tour of their facilities. "The original chassis had a 4-cylinder and they re-did the whole chassis to fit the V8." Using this chassis and a Ford V8 engine, Panoz went on to develop the roadster that he would eventually sell to the public. In 1990 Panoz moved the company from California to a 2000 sq-ft facility in Hoschton, Georgia that now serves as a small museum for Panoz featuring several cars that make up the history of Panoz and also as a parts storage and construction facility for the Esperante GTS racer. By this time the company had grown to seven employees and had finished a production version of the Roadster. The first customer car was delivered just two years later in 1992. The Roadster went basically unchanged until 1996 when it received several major updates. Renamed the AIV (aluminum intensive vehicle) Roadster because of its new lightweight aluminum frame, the new roadster featured leather and other such luxury items, a contrast with the original Roadster with had "no pretences to practicality." Handling improved with a new independent rear suspension, and 13-inch brakes stopped the 2200 lb car in incredibly short distances. The power plant of the car was also changed from a 5.0 liter V8 to a newer and more powerful 4.6 liter engine from the SVT Mustang Cobra. LUXURY AUTO GROUP/ Internet remarketing solutionsBuying a car at a dealership can be daunting. High pressure salespeople.Limited selection. Adversarial negotiations. Not much fun. But buying a car on the internet has its own unique challenges. The most obvious concern is an online shopper's inability to test drive and evaluate the car in person. While internet pricing can be attractive, some feel that the unknowns outweigh the benefits. Horror stories about flawed vehicle histories, incomplete documentation, misrepresentations, selective disclosure, and title problems make many potential buyers cringe. The staff is your eyes and ears. We are marketing company representing our own inventory, sourced from some of the finest luxury car dealers in Chicago. Our commitment to complete customer satisfaction is unwavering. Internet Marketing PhilosophyIn our changing marketplace, internet sales have become a vital component to every dealer's sales profile. The internet provides us with a low cost venue to sell select inventory at near wholesale prices without compromising the resources of a dealer's retail sales operation. Internet car sales can take several forms, such as online classifieds and auctions. The most popular, and arguably the most challenging, is Internet sales. Our listings are generally offered on-line between five and ten day time frames. We have represented over 1000 fine automobiles on the internet during the past ten years. The vast majority of these vehicles were sold without the buyer seeing the vehicle prior to his commitment. How was this possible? Our success can be directly attributed to our unique ability to evaluate inventory with consistency, insight and professionalism. This talent extends beyond our hands on assessment of a vehicles cosmetic and mechanical condition. It also includes our research of various data bases to determine past road history and service records. More than half of the vehicles we are asked to represent are rejected immediately because of obvious defects or concerns. An additional percentage fails to make the final cut following our research history. Our company randomly collects/studies data from past internet transactions. We have surveyed customers about their online experiences. Direct interviews and focus data are also compiled in an effort to better understand the Internet consumer. We have worked tirelessly to upgrade and improve our services, from the way our vehicles are screened and selected for Internet sale, to delivery and aftercare procedures. The lessons learned are insightfully applied to our Internet Marketing Program. Only the most fully sorted pre-owned vehicles in our inventory are presented through our Internet marketing program. In conclusion, regardless of venue, it all comes down to the quality of the inventory represented. While cliché, you can never pay too much for a great car. It also follows that a bargain price does not assure satisfaction. Luxury Auto Group knows the difference. Previously listed Specifications: Chassis: Aircraft Extruded Aluminum. Layout: Front/Mid engine. LUXURY AUTO GROUP/ Internet remarketing solutions Buying a car at a dealership can be daunting. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
