Hello, this is a very clean 90% + restored Ariel 500 single. (restored to its road racing days). The bike was originally raced back in the 1950's / 60's, and then again in the vintage class in the 1980's. The bike has many of the modifications common to a bike like this. It also has a completely rebuilt engine and trans with zero miles on them. The bike was completely disassembled in 2012 and everything was inspected / cleaned / refinished in addition to any machine work needed. The engine has a new sleeve, piston, rings, cam, crank brgs. The head is a big valve alloy unit with new valves and guides. It has a rebuilt lucas racing magneto with a super hot spark. Frame and girder fork are original Ariel units, frame number BP1878. Girder has a gas shock mod in place of the original spring. Wheels are newly built with alloy rims and stainless spokes. New Avon tires. Bike has alloy fenders. Gas tank is nice, oil pressure gauge and tach on gauge are present but not hooked up (tach needs 90 degree drive from cable to clock). The bike is wired with a working headlight and tail / brake light, and runs off battery. Bike has a clean Colorado title, bill of sale will be included. This bike has oil in it and I regularly kick it over by hand to circulate the oil. I am selling for health reasons. This bike has not been started since all the work was done as I'm not able to kick it over due to knee problems. There has been no gas in the tank since being cleaned and lined. This is an easy finish for someone, I'd just like it to go to someone who will finish it and appreciate it. This bike took first place in the British bike show here in Denver last year. Other than taking it to that show no one has ever seen it. Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will help any way I can from this end. It is a very nice and all serviced up bike. I have notes of the service work that have been performed by the previous owner in 03/1993 and only 500 miles ago. See the last pic for extensive maintenance record. "The BMW R 60/2 VIN 1812208 was manufactured on December 15th, 1966 and delivered on December 16th, 1966 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat." Bike was sold originally in 1967 hence it was titled as 1967 and that was a common practice back in the days. Matching frame, engine, tag and title numbers. It is a very honest bike, one of the nicest riding and looking pre-1970 BMW bikes I have had in my collection. It is all original bike w/o any mods. This bike has been stored in various conditions in its life and it shows. It is quite clean machine, not perfect but a great every day runner. The motor has had a recent top end disassembled, inspected, one helicoil professionally installed at the machine shop for the right side spark plug. New rings were installed, new top end gaskets and seals, torqued back to factory specs. Valves and timing was set, carbs re-adjusted. Clutch and brakes work well, gearbox goes through all 4 gears as it should. Lights, also all work as intended. I disassembled the horn, cleaned but did not get it to work, I will try again but no promises. Bike may need new rear tire as I have noticed some weather cracking, front tire is like new. Starts easily as the cold start video shows, runs and rides excellent! "The Earles Forks and opposing cylinder engine always get a lot of attention." All frame parts powder coated gloss black 2. Fuel tank cleaned out & coated with POR-15 Tank coating kit 3. All chrome parts re-plated (only exception are the exhausts, see next item below for details). 4. The bike has 2 OEM Suzuki exhausts that I found from another bike that were in pretty good condition; they have not been re-plated but are in good condition. They look pretty nice, but do have some scratches, flaws, & stains, see photos. Both exhaust baffles are in excellent condition (the baffles are extremely rare for this bike). 5. Crank re-built with new inner & outer seals, new crank bearings, by Bill Bune in MN 6. New Wiseco forged pistons (3rd size over) and cylinders bored, just recently done in January 2015. After installing the Wiseco’s, I broke them in following Wiseco’s recommended break-in procedures. (Note: cost of just these pistons + bore job alone was $450) 7. Both rims are new, with all new spokes 8. Suzuki theme paint job; Metallic blue w/ white stripe, the metallic blue really pops in the sun! 9. All electrical systems work perfectly 10. Both inner fork tubes are new, from Frank's forks 11. This is a vintage bike, so of course it’s being sold as-is, with no warranty. Known issues: Only one - every once in a while, the kick start makes a single “pop” as you kick, but not too often. Kickstarter still works fine, and it hasn't gotten any worse in the entire time I've had the bike. When I had the engine cases split, there were no signs of any wear on the kickstart pinions or gears, and the spring looked perfect, so not sure quite what the noise is. If you’re careful to kind of “pre-load” the kicker with your foot a bit before you actually kick, it doesn’t really happen.

1970 Suzuki T350 Rebel I’m selling my 1970 T350-II. It was completely restored a little over a year ago; a full frame-up & motor restoration. Runs perfect. T350s are pretty hard to find; they are very similar to R5s or RD350s of the early 70s and are even a bit lighter! It’s really a time machine that takes you back to the 1970s! Bike has approx. 12900 miles, and runs & rides great. I get it out on the road 6 or 7 times a month, so it’s run on a regular basis. A lot of fun because of that great 2-stroke powerband! All frame parts powder coated gloss black 2. Fuel tank cleaned out & coated with POR-15 Tank coating kit 3. All chrome parts re-plated (only exception are the exhausts, see next item below for details). 4. The bike has 2 OEM Suzuki exhausts that I found from another bike that were in pretty good condition; they have not been re-plated but are in good condition. They look pretty nice, but do have some scratches, flaws, & stains, see photos. Both exhaust baffles are in excellent condition (the baffles are extremely rare for this bike). 5. Crank re-built with new inner & outer seals, new crank bearings, by Bill Bune in MN 6. New Wiseco forged pistons (3rd size over) and cylinders bored, just recently done in January 2015. After installing the Wiseco’s, I broke them in following Wiseco’s recommended break-in procedures. (Note: cost of just these pistons + bore job alone was $450) 7. Both rims are new, with all new spokes 8. Suzuki theme paint job; Metallic blue w/ white stripe, the metallic blue really pops in the sun! 9. All electrical systems work perfectly 10. Both inner fork tubes are new, from Frank's forks 11. This is a vintage bike, so of course it’s being sold as-is, with no warranty. Known issues: Only one - every once in a while, the kick start makes a single “pop” as you kick, but not too often. Kickstarter still works fine, and it hasn't gotten any worse in the entire time I've had the bike. When I had the engine cases split, there were no signs of any wear on the kickstart pinions or gears, and the spring looked perfect, so not sure quite what the noise is. If you’re careful to kind of “pre-load” the kicker with your foot a bit before you actually kick, it doesn’t really happen.

It's a beauty!!!This is all numbers matching machine including the frame, frame badge and the motor. Miles appear to be original to the bike. This bike is pretty original with accessories that every BMW enthusiast will appreciate like engine crash bars, Denfeld solo seat complemented with the Pagusa in the back (stock factory setup). Bike comes with 2 ignition keys, original owners manual and Shop Manual. "The BMW R 69 S VIN 658506 was manufactured on February 10th, 1964 and delivered on February 14th, 1964 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat." The BMW R69S, produced from 1960 to 1969, was BMW’s sport bike of its day. With 42 horsepower, it was by far the most powerful bike BMW made at the time. You had to pay to play ($1,564 in 1966), but that extra money bought you one of the most prestigious motorcycles available in the day. This is one of my favorite motorcycles of the 1960’s. But I’ll leave the explanation of why that is to Cycle World, who put it best in a 1962 review: "Whatever the BMW’s merits in a contest of speed, it is still the smoothest, best finished, quietest and cleanest motorcycle it has ever been our pleasure to ride. To be honest, we think that anyone who would worry much over its performance-potential is a bit of a booby. The R69S is fast enough to handle any encounter, and it has attributes that are, in touring, infinitely more valuable than mere speed. All things considered, if we were planning a two-wheel style vacation/tour, the BMW would have to be our choice of mount."
