This Morgan originally came off the assembly line in black, and was later re-painted in the current Green / Yellow combination as it appears today. The paint is overall in good condition, with a few minor blemishes from use and age. The interior which was originally black, was restored with a beautiful brown leather and is in great overall condition. The wood dashboard, gauges, switches, and controls are all in fine condition as well.It is powered by a 2138 cc Triumph TR4 engine which runs well and is an absolute blast to drive. The radiator was replaced with a larger one, along with a cooling fan, and a second oil line was added which allows the car to run much cooler.The car comes with wire wheels, badge bar, tonneau cover, soft top, side curtains, and rear luggage rack. This Morgan remains in nice condition, with a few signs of age, but overall this is a wonderful example of a historic Morgan Plus 4. Worldwide, this glider would have had a Mercedes 2.0TD, a four cylinder turbo diesel motor mated with an automatic transmission. These were brought here to America for a electric motor powertrain, but the alternative propulsion conversion company later chose a much larger vehicle platform instead. Therefore this strategic move has released the remaining Ssangyong gliders for liquidation. Since this is a glider, all you will need is a powertrain and fuel cell of your choice. Please review video and photos for your possible configuration. Disclaimer: For all intents and purposes, this complete single listing description is generic, and may cover more than one of the exact same glider. Your glider may vary slightly of no more than 5%, such as specific serial number, unique cut keys, specific remote key fobs, or physically like a dent scratch or scuff from storage and handling. Although this is new and has never been operated, it has been stored six years outdoors in Southern California climate in the US, and may have wear from the elements not noticeable to most people. Personal Review/Walk Through: Pulling this particular glider at random from the group, we removed the weathered plastic covers and adhesives associated from the transport of any brand new car. Once the years of elements were washed off, we noticed faint stains, hard water marks, and residual adhesives that may not easily be captured in photo, but could possibly be professionally corrected. As I did my walk around looking at every square inch, the glider remains photogenic for the most part, as well as the other gliders. The superficial part seems to be localized to the exterior with the hard water marks, small bumps and scratches from handling. A bargain nonetheless. The interior remains untouched for the most part with manufacturer's plastic protective wrap still adhering to the insides. Also remaining is the common new car smell. Piece by piece, solid construction was telegraphed through out the cabin. The steering wheel felt accurate, suspension was tight, and the panels all snapped together with a precise flow. The console controls are ergonomic, and all worked and moved fluidly as previously intended. The truck feels equally on par as any competitor, but wins by a nose with that unique style, and clean minimalistic appeal. The following electrical components were tested in our showroom demo unit with the simple connection of a battery (Not included): power window, power locks, headlights, signal lights, fog lights, hazard lights, power mirrors, high beam, display lighting, interior lighting, instrument cluster illuminated, listen to a radio and CD, and power seats. Despite the few correctable issues, this may well be the bargain of a lifetime. Normal 0 This is not your Grandpa's Scout, at least not any more. With a Chevy ZZ-383 Factory Crate engine putting out 425 horsepower, and full YJ suspension, it makes for a very nice ride. I built this Scout to keep, and only used the best components for it. I wish I didn't have to sell my baby, but finances have dictated otherwise. I just finished building it, and it only has 300 miles put on it since all of the work has been done. Here is a list from the bottom up: · Dana 44 rear end with factory Posi-Traction, new outer bearings and seals including pinion; 3.73 gears. Also new Brake Shoes, Drums, Flexible Brake Hose, and Wheel Cylinders · Professionally Installed Jeep YJ Springs w/ new Greaseable Hangers and Shackles. They are much wider than the Scout springs, and have very nice Stable Ride to them · Rear end moved forward so tires will fit in the wheel well better than stock · Front axle also moved forward to maintain 100 inch wheelbase, and also to provide better Balance · Front axle is a Dana 30 that has just been completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, and a new 3.73 ring and pinion, plus the same custom installed YJ spring setup as the rear.
