1910-1920 FW SPACKE "DELUXE" TWIN cycle car or motorcycle ENGINE ONLY We are selling a 1910-1920 FW SPACKE "DELUXE" TWIN cycle car or motorcycle ENGINE ONLY. We purchased this from a New England Estate. The condition is unknown. It is missing parts and pieces. The components that are with it look to be in restorable condition. The motor spins freely, but the pistons and the connecting rods are gone/missing. The VIN is stamped - 0-1656. No doubt this may be the key to finding out what year production it is from. WE DO NOT KNOW. Our research (BING search) revealed that this motors were used from as early as 1910 to as late as maybe 1920. Our best guess is that the one we are offering is most likely 1913 or 1914. These motors were used in SEARS motorcycles, Scripps Booth, Cyclecars, Dayton Motorcycles, the Minneapolis Motorcycle and many others. They were built by the F.W. Spacke Machine Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana. There are some internal stampings, which are among the photos we posted. IT IS SOLD AS-IS - FOB Lynchburg, VA. We judge the weight to be in the area of 55 LBS. Shipping and crating will be at the buyer's expense. The wooden crate will be $25.00 to build for it. Or, local pick up is our preference.
