Although the bike is a resto-mod it is fairly original, numbers matching frame, motor, original front end, fenders and tanks. The rims are RC Components pieces ($3000 value) complemented with a matching rear sprocket. Extra wide bars, chrome foot and hand controls, Chromed Locomotive Style Front end, GMA Brakes front and rear with SS braided lines. This bike is a nicest FLH from the era I have seen around for the money. The motor is a 1200ccm, 74 Cubic Inches Shovelhead type, around 30K Miles with 4 speed transmission. Bike runs and rides great, the looks are stunning as you can see from the pictures, only few owners from new!!!. This FLH has a lot of character and needs similar person to ride it. Starting with a Springer Front End which gives it an awesome look we added a 21” Spoked bikket Front Wheel then put PM Brake Calipers on it! On top we have a 3 gal. Peanut Style Tank with a sweet paint scheme. The Brand New 93ci S&S Shovelhead gives this light bike more than enough pop to get up and go! You’ll be riding in style with Performance Machine Hand Controls and one off billet Spike Pegs. The 240 Rear Tire just adds to an already sweet look! You’ll find an Oval Oil Tank w/ Battery Box tucked nicely under the Springer Seat. The Fishtail exhaust makes for great sound and look on this amazing build! It is an old shovelhead nevertheless and may need some tinkering from time to time. Have you ever wanted a nice big twin Harley but could not afford one?? Here is your chance to get an eye catcher as never before. Bike shows ~29K miles on the clock. I was told the top end was done few years ago and the top end seals and gaskets just recently. I have not seen any oil leaks on the drive train, nor any drips on the garage floor but since it is a Shovelhead it may seep few drops of oil from the primary, (it is a Shovelhead, remember?). Paint very nice, couple of small dings here and there touched up, not noticeable. The electrical components all work as intended, brakes both works very well, I will swap the kicker for the swing out kicker to clear the pipes when kick starting. Those OEM 2-1 exhaust pipes are bulky. Some spot rust on front wheel rim. Tach moves but does not show RPM readings correctly. For sale a jewel, 1976 AMF Harley Davidson FX-1200 Superglide Shovelhead that is constantly hard to find in such great original condition. Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works, no surprises, no disappointment. This is a collector dream, no questions asked. If you are looking for one you know best. Very honest motorcycle, one will be hard pressed to find a better looking and running 1976 FXE-1200 Superglide now days. This bike looks to me very good considering its age and rides as good as it looks! Paint on the tank and fenders shows some patina, bike has original paint on the chassis as well with the original, factory sticker. The patina on the frame and drive train that accumulated with years shows well the bike heritage. This Shovelhead is not a trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable, older Harley that will keep appreciate in value with time. Both front and rear tires are Dunlop and like new, brakes work well, it rides, shifts and stops as it should. I have ridden the bike and shifted all 4 gears, it is a pleasure!! I have not seen any oil leaks on the motor or tranny. The ultimate find!!! Better than a barn find. A one-owner, very original, classic!!! 1970 Shovelhead FLH. The King of the Highway!!! Here's her story... This bike was owned since new in Sept. of 1969 by a gent who passed away just last year. This bike was his baby as you can see and he loved her dearly. He rode her until his death in 2014. So because this bike never sat for decades as most finds do, she runs and rides right now!!! (See videos provided for more on this). And here's what makes this bike even more special... as a 1970 it is a 1st yr. cone Shovel, and last yr. pre-AMF buyout. Notice the tank badges, there is NO AMF in them!!! No bowlingball machines here baby!!! And what makes this already historically significant bike an even more rare find is that the one owner who loved this bike dearly since beginning on the day he rolled her off of the showroom floor until the day he passed in 2014 put every period correct accessory on it that he could. And because he was a New Yorker he did this in the Brooklyn style which is known by collectors the world over for its eye appeal. I mean just check out the chrome deck on the back of this bike!!! And everything works!!! Every light lights up!!! In fact everything on this bike works as it should. (Again, see the videos of this bike running and rolling down the street). The only thing missing on this bike is the original radio system in the fairing, and the updated CD player has been taken out since the videos were made to make room for the new owner to put the a stock one back in should they choose to. We have been able to locate several but have opted to leave this alone allowing the new owner to address this should they choose to. The original carb is still working well though the original owner chucked the ham-can in favor of one that better fit the "bling" approach to accessorizing that he loved. And in fact it actually says "Shovelhead" on it. We think it looks pretty cool, as do all of his add-ons, minor modifications, and accessories. Get on and grab a little attention yourself!" For sale a jewel, a1975 Harley Davidson FXE1200 Superglide Shovelhead AMF that is constantly hard to find in such great original condition. Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works, no surprises, no disappointment. This is a collector dream, no questions asked. If you are looking for one you should know best. You will be hard pressed to find a better looking and running 1975 FX Superglide nowdays. This bike looks to me very good considering its age and rides as good as it looks! Paint on the tank and fenders is new and almost perfect, stilll bike has original paint on the chassis with the original, factory sticker. There is great patina on the frame and drive train that accumulated with years. This Shovelhead is not a trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable older Harley that will keep appreciate in value with time. Both front and rear tires are like new, brakes work well, it rides, shifts and stops as it should. I have ridden the bike and shifted all 4 gears, it is a pleasure!! I have not seen any oil leaks on the motor or tranny.
