I have for sale a 1951 Harley Davidson FL Hydra Glide. It is an older restoration with original pan head motor. The bike is mostly original with some reproduction parts. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system, is foot shift and has S & S carb. It kicks easy, shifts great and runs excellent. Like any old harley it weeps and marks it's territory. The paint is in great condition with a minor blemish on the tank (see picture). The bike is a clean piece of history and needs a new owner. It has bee battery and recent tune up. Bike does not have a speedometer cable. I encourage you to as questions and or come see the bike. There is no shipping and bike is being sold in as is condition with no warranty implied or given. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction for local sale. $500 non refundable deposit via pay pal due at auction end and balance due in cash upon pick up within 7 days. On Jan-23-17 at 17:42:34 PST, seller added the following information: I would prefer the balance to be paid in cash at time of pick up as pay pal fees are rough. I would be willing to take a cashiers check/bank check for those far away and using a shipping company, but the bike and title will not be released until the check 100% clears. I don't want to get screwed. Lastly, the speedometer shows 00000 miles as the unit is new and the bike does not have a speedometer cable. The title reflects 72,000 but obviously is not the original Miles as the bike has been restored.

At that time the frame, wheels, oil tank and most small parts were powder coated gloss black. The engine and transmission were taken down to bare cases and were completely rebuilt using all new bearings and seals. The transmission also had all new gears and clutch installed. On the engine side it was bored .050 over with Keith Black pistons replacing originals. The carburetor and oil pump were replaced with new S&S upgrades, the points was also upgraded to electronic ignition system. The bike hasn't had more than 1000 miles put on it since it's rebuild ( parades, bike shows, rallies.......) and always gets a lot attention. There is not much you can say about a first year Panhead, it is a great and very desirable bike for any serious collector of American Motorcycles, this bike is the winner of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America Junior and Senior First, This bike was completely and professionally restored from a complete original bike over a period of several years, the vast majority of the parts are original to the bike. My Panhead is not cheap, however I believe I am asking a reasonable price for a bike of this quality. We have this 1965 FL Harley Davidson Panhead on our floor- it belongs to a long time customer that has been dealing with us for many years. This bike was sitting in his storage building for at least 10 years, I picked it up, pumped up the tires, put a new battery in it, cleaned the gas and it fired right up and runs great. It has a lot of OEM original parts and a lot of after market parts, including the cases, they are from V-Twin but the original OEM cases are included in the sale with the title. The original cases leaked as pretty much all of them did at that time and he switched them over to V-Twin cases. The cases in the bike are not stamped, but the original ones are, see pictures. This is a beautiful motorcycle and they are really getting hard to find in this condition. He is only selling as he took a spill on another motorcycle and he is unable to ride.
