I’m 64 years old, so I’m no high speed teen wanting to torture the engine. This was my ride to work, 12 miles one way, for a few years, year around, it has always been very solid and dependable, whether in January or August. It’s a fun, easy, and economical ride. Yes, you can buy a new one from the dealer, like I did, with an advertised MSRP of $2699, but after all of the many fees and taxes were added, the total drive-off price came to $3400. Here’s a chance to spend less than half that, offered at $1500. I have a clean title.  I’m not a dealer, bank or loan company, so no financing or trades. Cash only.To keep the engine in top condition, I’ve always used 93 octane premium Shell gasoline over the 11,700 miles on the odometer. This scooter has been serviced at more than regular intervals at Vespa Dallas, and to have it ready for this sale, they’ve added two new tires with new front brakes, plus changed the oil & filter, and you won’t need an inspection sticker until February of next year. It has been garage kept. You’ll like the size of the locking, under-seat storage.You can lock-out the steering column for security when it’s parked. Gas economy of 60+ mpg in city. After filling the almost 2 gallon gas tank, you can cruise for 100 miles. No need to shift gears, it acclerates smoothly via the right hand throttle and you can reach 58 mph. Both front and rear brakes are applied with the grip of your hands. I've been the owner of this scooter for almost 2 1/2 years. It was my only motorized transportation for 2 years and has been very dependable, whether the temperature is 23 degrees or 95 degrees. I've changed the oil on a regular basis and have had it serviced at East Atlanta Motorcycles. I've recently replaced the rear tire, the mirrors, the battery, and a left-front trim piece. If the sell price is right, I'll throw in: Fulmer Candy Apple Red Size Large 3/4 Helmet LS2 Black Size Medium Half Helmet 2-Piece Size Medium Rain Suit The scooter has lived outside but always covered (included). Mileage of 16,683 is accurate. Scooters over 50cc like this one require a tag, registration, title, insurance, and a valid Class M motorcycle license. There are several places on the scooter with scratches and scuffs from a couple of light spills that sandpaper and touch up paint could fix. Item Details: Let me start by saying that though this is a heavy bike, get it moving and it's really quite manageable.I normally enjoy the idea of less is more. Give me a light bike and I'm in love with it, that's what I enjoy.But this ignites a completely different and alien interest. It's so incredibly smooth, from the engine to the ride itself. I completely understand why these motorcycles exist and feel completely confused why more people don't own these. Sure, it's a bit tough to push around, but honestly even rolling, this bike feels stable as if it were on big gyroscope and then discovered that was the purpose of this things massive engine. Porsche was one of the first vehicle manufacturers to use the flat engine configuration due to it's balance and smoothness. And due to it's design layout, it provides a lower center of gravity, excellent for bikes and cars alike.In a car there are drawbacks, such as longer exhaust or difficult to reach spark plugs and more, however on a motorcycle, the exhaust pipes become art and spark plugs accessibility is made far more simple. The engine in this bike is a work of art and absolutely brilliant. And due to it's size and smoothness, it operates as a gyroscope keeping the vehicle incredibly well balanced and poised, even at idle speeds. The throttle input has absolutely no jerk what-so-ever you might find from a V-Twin and definitely has enough power to really dig the back tire in. Might have some weight, but it's no slouch. This motorcycle is a Goldwing convertible, really. Stripped out a little bit, with the top box removed and a few features not found, but otherwise, it's got everything a Goldwing has with the added plus of being able to throw it around a little more easily. I'm willing to bet any rider would enjoy this bike. The Goldwing F6B (Standard) comes without heated grips or a back seat.
