Please read before clicking buy-it-now or sending an offer, the bike is for local pickup ONLY, I will not ship it, however, I am wiling to meet up to a 100 mile radius of Chattanooga, TN. Selling a 2006 Honda CRF230F, that when purchased, did not run and was in really rough shape; it was pretty much a parts bike. After many hours of labor and new parts, the bike now runs, but smokes (appears white) after it is warmed up; it does not smoke on startup. I believe the cylinder needs to be bored out, resleeved, or replaced as it has new piston, rings, head gasket, and valves are in spec so that is the only thing I can think of as to the cause of the smoke. I am just tired of throwing time and money at it and just want to get what I have in it. Rear tube has a slow leak, I will include a new one; mileage and hours are unknown. I have test ridden the bike a few times and the transmission shifts fine, brakes work great, suspension is plush, no weird noises or oil leaks. It starts in just a few pushes of the e-start and overall would make a great entry level bike once the smoking is taken care of.New parts:Front(Dunlop D952F 80/100-21) and rear tires (Bridgestone M604 100/100-18) Front brake pads and tusk rear brake shoes Battery Piston, rings, and Athena gaskets Front and rear wheel, linkage, and steering stem bearings RK 520 chain Front and rear sprockets Clutch and front brake lever Motion Pro clutch and throttle cables Renthal bars and grips Shifter and OEM gearshift spindle Uni air filter Daystar fork boots OEM front sprocket cover Many OEM bolts, seals, and screwsRefurbished parts:Seat base and seat coverOther maintenance or modifications:Rebuilt carburetor with new jets (120 main and 45 pilot) and gaskets; thoroughly cleaned as well. Rebuilt front forks and rear shock with all new OEM guides, bushings, and Pro Honda suspension fluid (5w in shock and 10 w in forks). Crank and entire bottom end inspected. Cylinder honed (ball hone) for new piston/rings. Valves inspected and adjusted. Repainted frame with factory color (NH146M). Recoated muffler and header pipe. Powder-coated foot pegs and chain adjusters. Lots and lots of cleaning!I have a spreadsheet with the complete breakdown and digital service manual that I will include with the bike as well. The OEM plastic is rough in spots, but is still usable. A new graphics kit would make it look great! I decided to leave cosmetics up to the new owner, but I will clean the plastic up as much as I can.Since the bike was purchased as a parts bike, I did not receive a title, so it will be sold with a bill of sale and is sold AS-IS without warranty. No shipping, local pickup only.

Up for sale is my 1986 Honda XL600R. I completely rebuilt this bike during the winter of 2012-2013 (about 1.5 years ago) and built as an adventure-touring motorcycle. At that time I also completely re-did the color scheme, changing it from red/white to what you see now, white/blue/orange. I have listed the mileage as 1200, because that is the miles I've put on the bike since the rebuild. The mileage showing on the odometer is 30,388, and the odometer works so I believe that is correct for the chassis. I went through ALMOST everything on the bike and either refreshed it or replaced it. I am a professional machinist and metal fabricator and, with the exception of the engine top end work, I did all the work myself. In this listing, when I say something is "new" that means it was purchased brand new during the rebuild. FRAME:The bike was stripped down to the frame and the frame was sandblasted. After sandblasting the rear subframe was reinforced to be able to carry extra weight (panniers, top case, extra fuel, etc.). The main cross brace across the top of the rear subframe (the brace which holds the seat) was replaced with 3/16" steel (the original was much less stout, probably .065" thick). Mounting bosses were also welded to the bottom rear of the main frame cradle to make mounting a center stand easier at some point in the future. Flanges were welded to the rear subframe to accept passenger footpegs in the future, and also to provide a place for the luggage racks to be supported. After all that was done, the frame was painted white. ENGINE / FUEL: The top end was re-done with a Wiseco 101mm high compression piston and re-bore to boot. A professional valve job was also done at that time. New cam-chain fitted. The stock carburetors were rebuilt with OEM Honda rebuild kits. The small cast aluminum arms which hold the carburetors together had broken so I fabricated stainless arms which now hold them together; they are stronger than stock. Throttle control cables (as well as all the other cables) were lubed. Fuel petcock disassembled and cleaned. Carbs are jetted for high altitude but I will include a few other jets to play around with. An oil cooler with custom-machined aluminum rock-guard was fitted, and is partially plumbed with aluminum hard-line and AN fittings. Period correct (!) Supertrapp muffler. Headers wrapped with fiberglass header wrap. SUSPENSION: The suspension is all stock. Front fork seals are new. Blue fork boots are new. ELECTRICAL: The CDI unit and the ignition coil are new replacements. The stator is a brand-new (this year) Ricky Stator. Ricky Stator stators are the top-of-the-line replacement units for the XL600R. New battery. All other electrical components are stock and performing well. LIGHTING: The front headlight has been replaced with a pair of 6" round lights. Night-time lighting is excellent. All turn signals, gauge lighting, dash indicator lights, tail lights, and brake lights function properly. BODY: This is where I did most of the custom work. The original fuel tank was painted in the new white/blue/orange color scheme. It is in good shape; there is one small dent on the front right side, a bit smaller than a dime. There is one paint chip on the right side at the edge of the seat. The original seat was reupholstered to match the tank in the same color scheme. The side panels, which were originally white, were re-painted white and 3M blue and orange adhesive sticker sheet material was applied. The white paint is scraping off the side panels in some areas but it's not too noticeable, as the plastic underneath is also white. The rear fender is blue and was originally from a Kawasaki KDX250, and has in integrated tail light. The front fender is from a BMW R100GS, painted white (originally black). Like most BMW stuff it is high quality, and does not buffet around in the wind. The front fairing, which houses the twin headlights, is custom fabricated aluminum. It is painted white and has the same blue/orange 3M sticker material as the side panels. The fairing also carries a short windshield, which is great on the highway. HANDLEBAR AREA: Handlebars are aftermarket Renthal aluminum bars. Grips are black Scott brand. Brushguards (barkbusters) are white plastic without aluminum reinforcements (I have been told the aluminum ones can bend and pinch your hand in a serious crash, plastic is preferable). Bars are mounted on Rox Risers vibration-dampening bar risers, a very nice item. Garmin GPS unit is mounted on handlebars in a custom machined mount which features a power switch (in case you want the GPS off), a USB port (for charging your phone or whatever) and a sun-shade (to reduce glare on the GPS) The stock speedometer is functioning, although a bit jumpy. It is, however, mostly blocked by the GPS, which is no big deal because the GPS has a more accurate speedometer on it anyway. Steering bearings were re-packed with grease. KLR mirrors. BRAKES: A good used front rotor was fitted and is in good shape; its got years of hard use still left. New front brake pads and new rear brake shoes were fitted. Brake fluid in the front brake system was flushed and replaced. TIRES/WHEELS: The wheels were sandblasted and then painted partially orange to match the bike color scheme. Wheel bearings are all new. Tires front and rear are Heidenau K60 Scout, with probably about 1000 miles on them (in other words they are very close to new and have tons of tread left). Tubes were replaced at the time of the new tires. PANNIERS/RACK: I custom designed and fabricated the pannier system, which uses Pelican 1500 cases on both sides. The pannier mounting system is integrated with the rear rack and is entirely fabricated from stainless steel tubing (and small amounts of plate). The goals for the pannier system were that it should be very easy and quick to mount and unmount the bags, and also that the frames should be visually unobtrusive. To that end I made the pannier frames in the shape of an L, as opposed to the more normal rectangle seen on most aftermarket pannier systems. There is also no cross-member that goes across the rear of the bike. In my opinion, those are measures that aftermarket companies take when designing these pannier systems which are intended to make installation easy and "universal", but they don't look good. I really tried to make this system better and I think I succeeded. The bags go onto the bike in about 20 seconds each and come off in 10 seconds. The Pelican cases are, of course, lightweight, crush-proof, and water-proof. The pannier racks are also easily removable, while leaving the rear rack in place. OTHER: Chain is new O-ring. Front fork brace is custom made by me. Air filter is new UNI (the best). There is a custom-made aluminum "tool tube" mounted below the headlights for carrying a tool kit. Fresh oil change ("fresh', as in: this week) Also has XRs Only oil temperature dipstick... nice! This bike was a lot of fun to build and a lot of fun to ride. I took it on one trip up into Colorado and it performed superbly. It was even a little bit faster on the pavement than the KLRs in my group! It has never been dropped or crashed. Bike starts on the first or second kick once you get the hang of the technique. There are videos on youtube which talk about how to kickstart an XL600R. An injury to my right heel has forced me to find a bike with an electric start and that is the reason I'm selling this bike. I am leaving the country for about a month on June 19th, so I will only be listing this bike once before then. It would be best for the new owner to arrange the shipping quickly after the auction is over, although I do have a good friend house-sitting while I am gone and he can help get the bike loaded if need be. eBay has a promotion going on right now which offers $399.00 flat-rate shipping on used motorcycles, which sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Please let me know if you have any questions.. and thanks for looking!

For sale is a custom chopper with a 1973 CB500E 4 cylinder engine with quad carbs. The frame is a hard-tail and was most likely made sometime between 1950 and 1979. The front end is a twisted springer that has a pretty decent rake to it. The fuel tank is a 1970's style Coffin Tank with a custom flame job. The engine had a very mild rebuild roughly 300 miles ago (complete internal inspection, new gaskets, seals, and cylinder hone job). All four carbs were rebuilt last year with factory Honda rebuild kits. Both front and rear tires are barely used and have plenty of tread left for several more ridding seasons. The bike had a new clutch installed last year and a new battery installed last week. The bike comes with a clean, street legal, Montana title. This bike has never been crashed, laid down, or anything of that nature. Depending on where you live/what state you register it in, it may or may not be street legal. Any potential buyer needs to be familiar with their local and state laws as they will be responsible for the safe and legal operation of the motorcycle. This is a "Chopper" in the truest sense of the word, there is NOT any turn signals, side view mirrors, or disk brakes. The bike runs and drives great and fires right up every time. The engine has an electric as well as a back-up kick-starter which works great to fire up the bike even with a dead battery. This bike is 40+ years old and does NOT come with a warranty. It is being sold as is, no warranty, no refunds, and no returns. There is NOT an odometer reading as the bike does NOT have an odometer. As with all older bikes you should expect they will need a little TLC and they will have some nicks, dings, chipped paint, rust etc. I tried my best to take very good quality HD pictures to display the condition as accurately as possible. The bike is currently located in Oklahoma City, OK and will be available for pickup once the payment is made in full. If the buyer wishes to ship it, the buyer will be responsible for setting up shipping as well as the cost of shipping/freight.

Darth is now ready! Different exhaust system in stalled! The video for Darth has been supplemented and now known as "Virginia Kicks Darth". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-13jfszz2f0 FYI, I'm not a motorcycle dealer, but I do have a lot of bikes to sell and I do support them after the sale. As such, I post my personal motorcycles for sale in the dealer section. For vintage motorcycles, you may want to view "All Motorcycles" to find what you are looking for. All my bike sales include: Free Delivery to Metro Atlanta area. One year Cell Phone, Email and Web Link Tech Support I can also resurrect your old motorcycles as well. Twins and singles are the engine configurations I work on. With this custom lowered seat, almost anyone can safely touch the ground with their feet flat on the ground! This custom cafe racer is the continuation of someone else's project. The starter motor was pulled and plugged, the forks were rebuilt and reconfigured, new rear shocks were installed, the front fender/ultra strong fork brace was modified, the swing arm was paint stripped and clear coated, tubes and tires were mounted, clip-ons were installed, engine cases were polished, 2 into 1 header system was created from stock CB350 headers, front drum, front brake plate, front sprocket cover, and rear brake plate had been drilled for cooling, stainless steel Allen head screw conversion installed, new headlight ears mounted, tapered steering stem bearing upgrade installed, and a few other items before I laid hands on it. I added the rear set configuration for both shifting and rear brake, wired the electrical system with modern solid state rectifier, added the cafe seat, added the invisible battery, installed the integrated turn signals with the mirrors and tail light, installed the new halogen headlamp, throttle cable, front brake cable, custom length clutch cable, POR-15 lined fuel tank, VHT epoxy painted tank in matte finish, balanced the wheels, rebuilt the carburetors, tuned up the engine, replaced the drive chain, added the polished aluminum velocity stacks, rebuilt and polished the horn, new kicker rubber, new brake and shifter arms with rear sets, new rear tank rubber mount, Notice the trending void behind the engine by having removed the battery, battery box, side covers, air filters, etc... All color has been removed from the bike leaving only black and metal. Turn signals LEDs are amber, brake and tail lights are red, but only when activated through the smoke lenses. The CL350 Honda was first created in 1968 and every Scrambler came with the traditional Darth Vader tank through the last one produced in 1973. Star Wars was not released until 1977. You take a look at the tail of the CL350 tank and do the math. Darth Bike is a radical ride without the benefit of electric start. I hope to have a lady CB200 rider start the bike in the video to be produced when completed and ready for the photoshoot as well. Will be edited in after her visit. This is my third custom creation since Bike Week Daytona. I have more bikes and have two more custom projects lined up. Contact me to have one built custom for you. Darth was created to be an actual vintage race bike. With only a few modifications, Darth is ready for the track to race in the WERA GP350 and bump up to the GP500 race classes. For sale is a 1980 Goldwing 1100 Interstate. The paint is the original black with gold pin striping. This bike has had a lot of maintenance done in the past year including new tires balanced with Dyna beads, rebuilt brake system (master cylinders and calipers, front and rear), rebuilt and synched carburetors, new air filter, new head gaskets, new timing belt, valves adjusted, new spark plugs, new radiator hoses, new water pump, new battery, rear final gears greased, all new fluids (oil, coolant, rear final, forks). In addition to the mechanical maintenance, a new Kenwood marine stereo was added with new 4" speakers. It also comes with the Baja fog lights shown in the pictures. This bike runs and rides great - it is extremely smooth running down the road! Comes with a lot of extras: original saddlebags, trunk, and rear bumper (pretty rare!). The rear bumper bolts up to the frame and allows you to pull a trailer. Also included in the rear trunk is a paint scheme matching open face Honda helmet! This is one of a kind for a GL1100, and it's ready to ride down the road for the next 50k miles without issues.
