2012 Exomotive (Mev) ExocetAboutFor sale is my recently completed Exomotive Exocet, based on the Mazda Miata Platform. If you are familiar with Exomotive, you already know the kind of lightweight performance their kit delivers both on and off the track. This particular example has been built with an emphasis on aesthetics as well as being a brutal track toy, and has recently taken a first place at the Hot Import Nights show in Dallas Texas, the only show it has ever entered. It is powered by a 1990 Miata Power/Drivetrain with a recently imported low mileage engine and transmission, both of which have under 50k miles. After instillation of the motor was complete, we replaced virtually everything such as the spark plugs, wires, fuel injectors, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, ignitor, camshafts, fuel filter, brake lines, clutch lines, master cylinder, slave cylinder, radiator, etc. The car ran and drive beautifully, now it only needs a cam position sensor to be ready for the track or road. The hood has some damage on one corner however is usable. Exomotive now sells updated body panels if you are interested in having a mint body. The last few things required to get it on the streets in Texas are a certified weight ticket, and it's state inspection, and depending on your local tax assessor office you may be required to have a rebuilt vehicle form signed. The vehicle is not rebuilt but they may want a record of all parts installed with the vehicle . I have already had an ASE Master Technician certify the vehicle and sign off on it, which is the hardest part of the paperwork process.The vehicle will come with a certificate of origin from the manufacturer and all paperwork the state has provided to get it registered for street use. There is so much more into this particular build than the bare minimum, and it is worth every cent. Flyin' Miata offers a "rollerskate" with the powertrain and frame mounted for 15k, so do your research first and decide if you want to go that route or buy one that is already complete with a plethora of modifications and customizations. The body is currently plastidipped black, and as stated above the hood has some moderate damage, but is usable and repairable. All aspects of the vehicle work, including all lighting, horns, fans, EVERYTHING is working and ready for it to get registered for road use. If you are above 6 foot you will probably have to remove the sliders for the driver seat to get the extra clearance between your knees and steering wheel.
