"I DON’T BUILD MOTORCYCLES is about more than chronicling the making of this classic motorcycle. It is an anthology of design principles, experiences, and philosophies that will help you with your next creation. It's a Zen and The Art of Making book. It consists of dramatic photographs, pertinent quotes, and allows you to witness the building of a classic motorcycle. But the book provides much more than that; it stresses the importance of purposeful perception. It provides advice on how to make your ideas a reality. It's also about feeling confident in your thoughts and aspirations. This is a book full of ideas which will appeal not only to motorcycle enthusiasts and mechanics, but also to those in the crafts and design fields. Those seeking to develop their imagination and creativity will find I DON'T BUILD MOTORCYCLES to be invaluable." Book PDF or print version available here: http://www.blurb.com/b/5692524-i-don-t-build-motorcycles Book iPad e-book version available here: http://www.blurb.com/ebooks/515632-i-don-t-build-motorcycles From CYCLE WORLD MAGAZINE: "Builder Charlie Giordano’s day job is running Tailgunner Exhausts, maker of Gatling-gun rotating exhausts like you see fitted here. But he’s also a man obsessed with motorcycles and design. This shows in the finished product, which presents a clean overall profile and shape, plus details that kill, all inspired by England of yesteryear." From RideApart: "But the sheer lunacy of this 1A Interceptor doesn’t end with its tailpipe that will surely make the cars behind you swerve off the lane. Giordano has borrowed cues from England during that era where this bike belonged once. Sample this: It has a wax-sealed “Boston” liniment bottle attached to the fork leg—filled to the brim with “a sailor’s daily ration of rum” per old Royal Navy Tradition. The battery box is made from wood cigar boxes and embellished with hand-hammered copper strips. It also has a pedestrian slicer on the front number plate. This bike has café racer genes written all over it—from the fender devoid wheels to the Manx-style fuel tank. And that gorgeous tail section! All of it was crafted using old techniques with the help of hand tools. When asked about choosing to go all-out mental with this build instead of doing a more composed restoration, Giordano said, “I felt like a politician: No matter which way I vote, I’m going to displease about half the constituency.” We are the half that is very pleased." Please note: The 7,530 mileage shown above is original and before rebuild. Mileage post rebuild is approximately 10 for tuning purposes. The "Gunner" bike is located on Martha's Vineyard, and is available for viewing by appointment. Please call or email with any questions you may have. This motorcycles unique design and attention to detail make it ideal for a top collector or enthusiast.

2013 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 B5 Sidecar Black, Fun, fun, and more fun. That is what you will have with this beautiful Royal Enfield and sidecar rig. This is a demo unit, and is sold with a two year warranty. Come in today and drive it away. New Old Stock - two year warranty - Royal Enfield built its first motorcycle, a three-wheeled contraption with a de Dion engine, way back in 1898 in Great Britain. The original Bullet single was launched in 1931. The model G Bullet, introduced in 1949, featured an alloy cylinder head and a swingarm rear suspension. Enfield's first U.S.-market motorcycles were sold in Indian dealerships. Toward the end of its tortured existence, the floundering Indian Motocycle Company sold Indian-badged Royal Enfield Interceptor parallel twins Stateside. From here the Bullet's history gets confusing. When Indian collapsed, Enfield inherited an Indian (the motorcycle) factory located in India (the country), which Enfield used to build 350cc and 500cc versions of the Bullet. The parent company went belly-up in England, but the upstart Indian Enfield factory flourished, and the Indian Enfield Bullet has been in constant production since 1955.

This bike is the beautiful Champagne color with black frame and silver wheels and in outstanding condition with less than 2,100 miles on the clock! I bought it from a young man in Indianapolis who had owned it just a couple of months when he discovered he was going to be a father. LOL. I’m a CBC guy myself (that’s a very wise ‘Childless by Choice’ person for you of the LOL generation) so fatherhood and its responsibilities were never a concern for me. With 51 years of continual riding already behind me when I bought the F800ST I’ll have to admit I was riding less each month without really realizing why, so only 1,700 miles have been added since I picked it up. Yeah, they’ve been pretty good ones, with some traveling on the nearby Natchez Trace Parkway and a few runs up and down the infamous Dragon as well as cruising its neighbor, the much more pleasant Cherohala Skyway. One day I realized my riding days were nearly over, but didn’t like the thought of being without a bike at all so I kept it around while. Strange doings for a guy who used to think nothing of riding out to Colorado just for a quick weekend in the mountains. There were some great bikes lifting my spirits all those years including a Triumph T120R and even a Royal Enfield ‘Interceptor,’ bought strictly because of its name. Honda had the nerve to introduce their so-called Interceptor years later, but I wouldn’t have been caught dead on one if it was a gift. Later on came four Harleys and the first three BMW’s because by that age I was strictly a long distance traveling man. The big Harley’s and the BMW’s hadn’t much personality, but ran like locomotives across the Great Plains on trips out West. The Electra-Glide didn’t care for either 80 or 90 MPH, but liked cruising at exactly 85, where it was unmatched for comfort. Got tired of the weight eventually and switched to BMW’s. They would run at any speed, but forced me to spend much time and money on all of them trying to make them more comfortable. Evidently a day in the saddle in little Europe is nothing compared to what we face here. I suspect those Germans never stay aboard long enough to get sore spots. Here, just getting to Sturgis takes several days each way. Despite the great speed of the BMW’s I was finally outrun by a young girl in a Camaro in northern Kansas one blazing hot summer afternoon when she cruised upwards of 120 MPH for so long I finally grew nervous about my tires and slowed. Great days. My F800ST is very well equipped. Its vertical twin and its narrow frame provides fun and easy handling on mountain curves. Excellent materials throughout and stone reliable too of course. It’s got ABS, the full computer and every other factory option except the tire pressure monitoring system. It includes the following mind-numbing list of extra items too: Tire pressure color indicators on the valve stems, both the stock and a Sargent comfort seat with the Sargent having a waterproof storage container built-in, both the standard windshield and a higher ZTechnik version for winter use, adjustable MV Verholen handlebar risers and MV’s very nice peg-lowering kit as well. It’s got clear turn signal lenses, a high intensity LED tail and brake light, Grip Puppies, a Kroko adjustable throttle lock and companion wrist-rest accessory, a stainless cigarette lighter plug with rubber rain cap mounted on top of the right fairing, dual helmet locks positioned below the license plate along with a locking (and concealed) stash pouch positioned behind that plate (see the photos for both), a nicely mounted Stebel Nautilus air horn (see http://f800riders.org/forum/showthread.php/36170-Installing-a-Stebel-Nautilus-Air-Horn for how I did it), nylon carry-bags for use with the BMW adjustable Panniers, a RAM Mount for the reliable and water resistant Garmin Model 2610 GPS, a Marsee Tank Bag, a Cordura Roll-Bag with internal waterproof liner for that final bit of stuff you need to carry, a Stop-and-Go Tire Plug Kit as well as a First Aid Pack and a compact and lightweight rain cover for use when traveling. There’s also a Battery Bug on the instrument panel that alternates between displaying the battery voltage and its estimated remaining life (currently showing 47%) along with a Kryptonite cable lock and oil and air filters and oil. The F800Riders.org Service Companion Video is also a part of the package. It’s a beauty that doesn’t have a scratch on it and located in Zip Code 37064, a suburb of Nashville.
