Up for sale is my 2011 Royal Enfield C5 Classic. I purchased this motorcycle new back in August of 2011 to use for my daily commute and for riding these fantastic back roads and state highways here in Missouri. Found myself wanting to go for longer and longer distance rides and needed to upgrade to a larger bike more suited for the type of highway and cross country traveling that I now do. After picking up a larger bike, I still used the RE for commuting and in and around town stuff for a while, but now I hardly ride it at all. She has lass than 7k miles on the clock and plenty of meat left on the tires. All maintenance has been done at the scheduled intervals and only synthetic oils utilized during services. The 500cc, Fuel Injected, Unit Construction single has a fantastic torque curve and the 5 speed gear box will let you cruise at 70 all day. The fantastic retro styling is Royal Enfield's nod to the model that began rolling off the assembly line in Chennai back in 1955. She's good for 65 miles per gallon but I have been able to pull as high as 75mpg out of her when not doing any real spirited riding. It has both kick and electric start which is great if you're the type that is prone to leaving the lights or ignition on since you'll always be able to get the bike started!. Normal wear and tear on paint and chrome that you would see in a bike that is two or three years old but well maintained. I've installed a few custom parts on it such as the short bottle exhaust, clubman style bars and smaller more retro styled turn signals and a La Pera sprung solo saddle seat. I have all of the factory original parts should you want to return it to stock and these parts will go with the bike.
