This a 1970 Ruttman "grasshopper" with the org. frame, forks, sissy bar, shocks, rear wheel, etc. Has custom, more rider friendly handle bars and front wire wheel. New seat pan and rear tire. 5 hp Briggs that runs excellent! THERE IS NO TITLE. Currently in bare metal for Hot Rod look. Please look at pics and ask questions before bidding. This bike is all original. It was stored for over 30 years with gas in it. I have cleaned it up and rebuilt it. There are still some carb issues, and the lights don't work yet. This bike is a great piece of Americana! We are selling this bike that has been in the family for over 30 years due to taking in a foster child during the holidays to give him a 2nd chance for a great life.

The bike is located in Sachse Texas. Basically North Dallas. Bike comes with a Bill Of Sale Only. These kind of bikes always amaze me because I always wonder how it made it 44 years without getting destroyed! Every bike I had as a kid would get stripped(fenders, lights,etc), spray painted(this was for speed!) and jumped till the bike split in half or the motor blew up..... Imagine it is 1971 Christmas day and you walk into the living room and see this! It would be the gift you would never forget!! When you put this in the sun and look at it...you go blind it is sooo shiney!. Bike had a cosmetic make over many years ago. Lots of new NOS parts were used. I sold this bike years ago to a collector....he recently ran into financial trouble and asked if I would buy it back. He never started the bike and it just sat in his collection for many years. I put fuel in the carb through my IV bottle and it started FIRST kick! I re-cleaned the Carb in case the new owner does not want to ride it. Gold chain...Gotta have the bling Factor!! This is a very very nice Bike I have always loved these bikes. Has both side covers in great shape Frame: MT50-14529 Motor: MT50-14770 Build Date: 11/1970 Original Key Does not leak any fluids. great bike for a beginner or collector wheels look good.(see pics) Tires are old and cracked but hold air Fenders look great Bike does not have rust. handle bars look great front end works good It does have the original petcock but the fuel line is run to another shut off valve behind the cover. The original valve is frozen and did not want to break it. Carb idles good Sprockets front and rear good. Added a GOLD chain for the bling factor... Bike shifts great Gas Tank looks great Badges look good Seat pan looks good but does have a one inch crack on the back part Handle bars go up and down Bike is like the suzuki trail hopper, Yamaha JT1 JT2 , gt80, ct70h mini trail Feel free to ask all the questions you want Thanks for looking I have a large barn and can store the bike for an extended amount of time so you can get a great shipping rate.
