FOR SALE! $3500.00 obo 1995 Honda CBR 1000F "Hurricane" 25,109 Miles Comes with bill of sale and copy of current registration per RI laws. "Wow! This bike, "Hurricane" is an awesome bike. it looks great, runs great and it rides just as great! This is a freshly done, racinmacdaddy original custom restoration. On sunny days it pops as much as you can imagine. On a foggy day, or at dusk, this bike looks like it glows in the dark. At night it does and boy does it feel cool riding this machine at night. Between the comfort, 1000cc power, Xenon headlights and green leds it's a one of a kind must have experience. Everywhere I go I get many, many compliments on this bike and a many more stares and double takes! I purchased this in September 2014 and have repaired and or replaced everything that was wrong with it. It is turn key and ready to ride! There's a full list of repairs/improvements for those who want to know, just scroll down below. Thanks again," ~Mac WHAT I'VE DONE WITH THIS BIKE! *Every body panel was removed and polished. They are the original panels,with minor wear and tear on them including some scratches and small blemishes here and there, but as you can see they still look really nice and shiny! Everything underneath them (the frame, engine etc) was cleaned and touched up. *The tank was replaced, polished and the inside of it was cleaned and then lined with the Caswell tank system. *Clear coat was also added to the tank and after much sanding and polishing the Honda factory decals blend in seamlessly. POWDER COAT: *Brand new gas cap (with matching brand new ignition and keys) which has been powder coated neon yellow and the cap bolts satin black. *The top of the triple trees was removed and powder coated neon yellow and branded with a clear coated racinmacdaddy.com decal. *Brand new bar ends, clutch and brake levers are installed and powder coated neon yellow. *Select faring and frame bolts were powder coated neon yellow. *Front and rear foot sets (pegs) are powder coated neon yellow. *Front set foot panels were removed, un-riveted, and powder coated yellow. *Rear passenger grab bar was powder coated neon yellow and gloss black. *Both front and rear wheels were removed and powder coated neon yellow. *We purchased a center stand and had it powder coated neon yellow as well. MECHANICAL REPAIRS: *The valve cover was leaking oil, so that was replaced with a OEM Honda replacement gasket. *Brand new K&N oil filter and oil. *K&N air filter cleaned and treated with K&N Recharger Kit. *Brand new neon green O-link chain and sprockets. *Brand new front and rear Kevlar carbon brake pads. *Brand new Balls Deep front and rear wheel bearings. *Both clutch and brake fluids were flushed, replaced and bled with new fluid. *Brand new Continental Conti-Motion front and rear tires. *High end Duralast Gold battery. *New OEM Honda main fuel line. *The exhaust was removed, ground down, sanded and sprayed with VHT black header paint and then reinstalled with new header gaskets. It’s got a Baker transmission that has a fully functional reverse gear – no leg pushing required. The rear end was custom built, and has fully independent suspension just like what’s on the car in your driveway. Everything was done to ensure this trike is a smooth ride and great performer, and it handles like it’s on rails. The rear suspension has coilover shocks, fully independent alignment and adjustment, and a fully custom billet rear end that’s sure to provide reliable service and performance. Going fast has to be balanced with not just handling, but also stopping fast, and this bike has you covered in that department, too. A massive Wilwood racing brake sits between the rear wheels to get you stopped as fast as you need. Custom 18 inch rear wheels and a fantastic looking 21 inch front wheel that were built specifically for this bike shine brightly and draw your eye in, but the rest of the details keep you interested. The custom paint job accents the custom cream colored leather seat, and the Dakota Digital gauge cluster makes it easy to keep an eye on the functions while looking great, too. An American Suspension inverted front end controls the front wheel, and of course, it’s all chrome. There’s also a removable windshield (not pictured) that comes with the trike, as well as a removable locking tour pack bag, which is of course, painted to match the rest of this unique bike. This 2009 Harley Street Glide is for sale for $13,000. It has only 7600 miles on it, has never been laid down, and is in fantastic condition. (Blue book value is $14,500)2009 was a good year for Street Glides and other Harley touring models as they got an improved chassis which drastically improved handling and vibration over previous model years. Also of note is the ABS brakes, stereo system, and cruise control.I purchased it new in 2009 at Wild Prairie in Eden Prairie and they installed a "Stage 1" performance kit which included a new air intake, computer tune, and some nice sounding Vance and Hines pipes. It has a aftermarket windshield which isn't too high, you still see over it, but is shaped better so the wind line doesn't end up right in the middle of your forehead when you're traveling down the highway like a stock street glide does. (as you might read about in some reviews)I've also added an easily removable luggage rack and passenger backrest. What we have here is a very original, very nice survivor, garage find 1970 Honda CB175 Super Sport. I restore cars for a living and had recently finished a project for a customer. I went to deliver the car to his home and when he opened the garage this is what I saw. It had stuff all around it, a 10 speed bike laying on it, I asked him what he was going do with the bike and we struck a deal and I brought it home. These little vintage Honda motorcycles are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this type of condition. With so many people cutting these bikes up making them into some awful café racer they are dwindling fast. If you have a love for these little bikes like I do then this one should surely get your blood pumping. If you are truly interested in this bike, lets talk by phone, showing up in person with cash in hand will get you the best deal. HISTORY My customer said he purchased the bike from a college student here in Richmond in 1984. He rode the bike for a while and put it away in his garage occasionally starting it and then it just sat. After I got the bike home I went to work on it to get it in running order. All of the things I replaced on the bike were GENUINE HONDA NOS parts with the exception of the carb kits themselves. I pulled the carbs off disassembled them, cleaned them and installed new kits. I also purchase an NOS float for the passenger side carb. I pulled the tank drained it and installed an NOS pet cock. The original was corroded on the inside and didn't want to let the gas come thru. I installed an NOS gas cap all new fuel lines and put it all back together. New plug and the air filters looked to be just recently replaced with no dirt or discoloration and also HONDA units. He was unable to find the keys for the bike, I gave him a while to look for he keys while I was doing other things and then I decided to purchase an NOS ignition switch and keys for the bike. It also came with the lock set for the steering wheel, which I will include with the sale, but have yet to change due to the fact I cannot find out how to get the lock cylinder out with out the original key. I also installed a new GEL CELL battery which works great, an upgrade from the acid type battery. After all of that was done it fired with out any problems. I have put probably 50 miles on the bike riding it around town and it has performed flawlessly. It runs smooth, shift fine and will rev to the redline if you so desire to do so. CONDTION The bike is true to the word "survivor". It is not perfect, it has its blemishes but I love it the way it is. There are some scratches on the tank (from a 10 speed bicycle that was laying over on it in the garage) and a few tears in the original seat. The seat looks very respectable and it appears to be original and even though you can get a new cover for the seat I did not want to change it, due to the fact it was the original. All of the lights, horn, started operate like they should. Tach works and sometimes it is a little sticky until you give it some RPM and then is jumps to life and works fine after that. The rear tire looks to be new. Not actually new, but no dry rot and he must have replaced it before he put it in storage, I see no reason not to trust it. The front tire does have some dry rot, hold air just fine and I would trust it around town easily. If you plan on driving it long distances I might replace it. The pipes are in excellent shape, no blueing, and they shine nicely. Same for the rims and spokes. They look super nice and have benefited from being inside all of these years. There is some minor rust or pitting on some of the blinker stalks but nothing that really takes away from the bike. It all just looks original. The neutral light works sporadically, I think it is in need of adjustment, should be an easy fix. It starts on the first try, whether you kick it or use the electric start. I have yet to have to use the choke. That's about the long and the short of it. Overall it is a great looking, great running bike. As with anything this old, I can not guarantee what it will do in the future, but in my opinion it is a solid little bike with many many miles left in it. I have put a video on YOUTUBE. I walk around the bike, give you information, demonstrate all of the lights and fire it up. You should definitely look it up and it gives you an even better idea of how solid it is.
