I know everyone wants to know the story behind the sale, so here it goes. We bought the Burgman in February 2015 from Destination Cycles in Kerrville, Tx where it had been traded in for an FJR1300. Our intent was for my wife to ride along with me on the Goldwing when we take long distant trips and when we saw this particular Burgman equipped the way it is, it was a done deal. My wife has ridden bikes for 20 years but had taken a hiatus for the last 10. She started back on a smaller scooter to get her skills back up and decided she was ready for the upgrade. She had test ridden another 650 and felt it was bit tall but still manageable, so the purchase was made for this one. After a few months of getting acclimated, she never felt confident. Fast forward to getting off-balanced in our driveway and it went over on its right side. Beautiful Burgman 650 Executive Scooter Trike Conversion. No shifting, electric windshield and mirrors, parking brake, ABS. Only 2000 miles since converted to trike. Has extras, battery disconnect, air shocks, HID headlight conversion, forks rebuilt with progressive springs and converted from damper suspension to cartridge emulator, gives softer ride on front end. Replaced stock triple tree with 5 degree raked triple tree to provide less stiffness when steering and turning and converted rear stock shocks to Gabriel Air Shocks to give softer ride on back of trike. Also has a Bestum storage box installed, not in photos. Trike has plenty of power run on streets and keeps up with traffic on highways. Has never had any problems and is a pleasure to ride.
