HARD TO FIND 1980 SUZUKI DS 80 (She looks ~Like a RM 80 lights)... & she has Fairly Low Hours on Her !!! This Bike Starts Easy Runs GREAT ...If anyone will email me their direct email address I will send them a Video clip of this Beauty as She does Run GREAT !I believe this is the Last year of this version of this AMAZING (~Looks Like a RM 80 with lights like ) DS 80 So I am sure SUZUKI has worked out any & All bugs by then...Please Check out how Nice her original seat & tank etc looks ! Vin# = DS80 127890 FEAR NOT ! ! ! These are Super Nice Easy to Ride Very Forgiving Bikes & Without Question are ....These are famous for being Very RELIABLE & SUPER FUN ! FUN ! FUN ! to Ride ...This would be the perfect starter bike for your Wife, Son or Daughter !! (Or Just a Great kick in the paints "FUN" bike for you !This is a Bike that most everyone seems to think feels very natural to them & fits most say it fits them like a Glove ! It is Super light AMAZINGLY Agile & Great for New Riders as it's seat is only about " 25 " Inches off the Ground & if your sitting down on the bike it's Actually only about " 23 " inches off the ground !!! (way more do-able than most new bikes are these days !!!!!!!!) Most People agree these are Possibly one of the MORE FUN , MOST RELIABLE & Best Built & "Hands Down" one of the MOST Trouble Free Dirt Race bikes made ! & This Baby seems to Run GREAT ! There are a lot of UTube etc web sites showing people having a Great time ridding these Amazing Super Quick Dirt / Racing Bikes !!! and there are plenty of Great People that carry a TON of parts for these Wonderful SUZUKI DS 80's & RM 80's Dirt/ Race bikes should you ever need anything! It's Front & Rear Fenders and left Side panel look to be Original are on Good Shape and also her beautiful fuel tank has also been refinished and as you can see Look Great ! Even her rims and hubs as well as her "Vintage" Race able "DUAL SHOCK" Swing arm etc have all been refinished ... & Yes, She has what looks to be New old stock Original 1980 RM 80 Gas Tank etc RM 80 style Graphics !!!! My Mechanic and I flushed out the tank, Carb Fuel lines & the entire Fuel System & added a Brand New in line Gas Filter ....( & when we put new gas in her ...we put fresh gas in her & ...She Started right up...WOW ! ! ! ) ...So this baby is Ready to Go have some fun with ! Try to keep in mind these Wonderful Bikes are ...All About FUN ! ......Think About it if You pass this Baby Up ....where else will you ever find a 1980 80cc (~RM 80 with lights) like "DS 80" SUZUKI with so little use & so Little abuse ...on her ! ! ! Most everyone that I have talked to over the years has told me that this was one of the very Best bikes of it's day....& based on my experience with these "RM" 80cc ... I would have to add maybe "One of the Best & Easiest to Ride Dirt/ Race bikes EVER !!!! Paper work : I purchased this over a couple of years ago & I still have the Bill of sale I received from the prior owner. Since this is a Race Bike & is designed to Race on Moto Cross tracks etc...I have never had it put into my name as around here transfer of Race bikes here in California is handed by DMV "Dill of Sale" from one owner to the next owner here in California with Dirt Racing bikes that are used on Dirt Bike Moto Cross Tracks etc. . This Wonderful Bike has been in storage for several years & being a Vintage Dirt Racing bike it may not have ever been in the calif DMV system. I will be glad to provide a California DMV (Depatment of Motor Vehicals) NOTARIZED "BILL OF SALE" as that is how most people transfer track use dirt & Road racing etc race bikes from one person to another. Again...(as again it is not required if you are using this on a dirt Moto cross track etc.)..Since this is a Dirt Racing Bike .. If you live out of the Country I will be glad to supply you with a California Certified "NOTORIZED BILL of SALE" as I recently sent two of my Vintage Collection bikes to the United Kingdom (England) and that is all that they required. To my eye ...I think ..She Looks Great ! ...I have always been very Proud of this particularly Beautiful 1980 (she looks a lot like a RM 80 w/ lights) this DS 80 Dirt Bike with lights ...& Even in 2014 She still Looks GREAT ! as these are typically Super Reliable Bikes ! & Everyone seems to be in agreement that .... "These Bikes are GREAT ! & Quite Possibly one of the Most FUN Bikes I have Ever ridden in several decades Since the late 1950's !" (...& in 1970-74 I was a contributing Technical Editor for Cycle News Magazine (at that time it was the Largest Motorcycle publication on Earth ! ! ! & I wrote 14 Four to Five page Featured Techincal Articals for "Cycle News" magizine & I was a Four+ Year Sponsored Open Class "TT" Scrambles & "Half Mile" Racer for "BULTACO" Motorcycles late 1969 to 1974 So ...No One Loves a Great Dirt Bike Better than Me ! ....and again ........If you Pass Up this Wonderful Bike where will you ever find a 1980 SUZUKI DS 80 (she looks like a RM 80 w/ lights) like DS 80 Dirt Bike with so little use on Her ! ????? ?????? This is a Bike that most anyone could Have "BIG FUN" ridding all day long On !Most everyone I have talked with agrees these 1980 (RM 80 w/ lights) like DS 80 Dirt Bikes have hands down Always been considered one of the Worlds BEST jr size Dirt / Racing bikes & SUZUKI has Long Been known for their Trouble Free, Reliability. The 1980 80cc "DS 80" SUZUKI Dirt Bikes are probably one of the Least Scary & By Far Easiest to Ride & Most New Rider Friendly Dirt Racing Bikes ever Made !!! & this 1980 is BY FAR one of the Most Evolved Early Successful Dirt Racing Bikes as it has all of the Most sought after Goodies Super Simple Piston Port & (self Tuning) Reed Valve inductions system, For the fairly Decent " fairly Good Travel" Forks & Decent Travel Rear "DUAL Rear " Shock rear Swing suspension ("in 1980 All of this was "Rocket Science" that Really worked GREAT " ! ! ! ), Very Simple less hassle far more reliable Air Cooled (than the early water cooled SUZUKI's etc etc I have heard) (this being one of the last years of this DS & RM Series that went from This Very Perfected 1980 DS 80 SUZUKI (Air Cooled) engine ( Factory Tuned MX Race Chamber style) Pipe , Factory Big Cooling HEAD & All of this Yet She is still nice and (relatively) fairly low to the Ground (Way less Scary for Newer Riders) and because of her Nice Low height She will even fit in right into my Mini Van even with the vans center seat still in place !!!! How many 80CC DIRT RACING bikes can do that ! This Baby Typically Starts Easily & Very Quickly ! I believe this Has her original Factory seat & she also has her Original SUZUKI Gas tank that still looks and is in GREAT Condition with a Brand New 1980 RM SUZUKI Style Tank Graphic ! Her Gas tank frame & engine etc has been Newly refinished & Painted as are the Front & Right & Left side panels and Both Front & year Fenders. YES ! the gas tank Graphics have just been replaced with what looks to be ORIGINAL New Old Stock or incredibly Accurate Graphics that look perfect to me to the 1980 RM Graphics decals that SUZUKI installed back about the time this bike was new ! The inside of her tank looks GREAT. Handlebars, Pegs, shifter, She has Brand New Handlebar Grips ! brake levers etc etc are still in Very Nice Condition ! The Shifter and Brake levers look Perfect !This Beauty has been in storage for several Years & is just returning to service again & She is "Running Great" I think the more you run her the better she will run ! Make No Mistake this Baby: Runs, Starts Stops ,Shifts & Rides GREAT ! * * * Again.... Think About it , if You pass this Baby Up .....where else will you ever find a 1980 DS 80 (like a RM with lights) with very little use on her ! ! ! ??????????????????????? This Wonderful Bike was storage in a Nice Dry Garage for several years. Once we flushed the tank & Carburetor + put in fresh gas & She started right up again ! ! ! ! ! ! !) My mechanic & I washed out the carburator and & tank & installed a Brand New inline fuel filter etc...& Every time we have run this Beautiful Bike over the past few weeks "The Engine Runs Great and Typically Starts SUPER EASY & SUPER Quick" ! It runs well & seems Shifts well thru the gears just as she should.
