This TL000S is hard find with only 14k miles. It's a fuel Injected 1000cc v twin engine by Suzuki. Super torquey and revs to 10,500 rpm. It's considered a super bike. Very very fast. Not for the faint of heart or beginner riders. The engine is clean enough to eat off of. Few minor cracks/scratches on the plastics, nothing majorly concerning, there's a small dent in the gas tank from something falling from my garage ceiling, and slight scratch on the left bottom side of the exhaust from a slight lay down. Bike is currently on a battery tender on stands in my garage in Warren, MI. Mods: Full M4 Carbon Exhaust (cost $1200, now discontinued) Power commander 3 Michelin Pilot Power 3 tires w/ about 2500 miles on them Gap Mod Tray / Tidy Tail 17/41 Driven Power-Up Chain / Sprocket kit w/ less than 2000 miles Driven shift lever Toby Adjustable steering damper Stainless steel braided brake lines CNC aftermarket brake and clutch levers Rear fender eliminator with incorporated turn signals Recent Service (Full Syn oil, plugs, coolant flush, new brake fluid, throttle body sync etc) This bike needs nothing! We have a 1997 Suzuki TL1000S up for sale! This Suzuki 1000cc V-Twin is in amazing condition, 13,300 miles, and totally stock! The front right hand side of the gas tank has a small scratch in the paint from a tie down strap - besides that it is in near showroom condition! Glossy paint, aluminum frame in perfect condition, and all factory parts are untouched right down to the factory tail section! We have the tail cover and the passenger seat. I highly doubt that 18 years after they were first produced you will ever find one nicer, cleaner than this and the best part is that its all stock! Do not let this one get away! Ok, the engine s nicked from Suzuki s old TL1000S but the rest of the SV1000 is all-new yet the price tag is very reasonable new or used. The faired Suzuki SV1000 S version has lower bars but is the better all-rounder. The unfaired SV1000 with higher bars is a real funster if less competent on the motorway. The Suzuki SV1000's chunky aluminium frame with conventional suspension and it works better than the TL1000S ever did. The SV1000's suspension s not quite as good as pure sports bikes but it s fine for most people. If you do lots of track days and fancy aftermarket shock and fork re-build will enable you to flick from peg to peg in an instant with no grief. Brakes on the Suzuki SV1000 are strong but work best with fresh fluid. The Suzuki SV1000's big V-twin produced over 120bhp at the rear wheel when it first appeared in the TL1000S. Unfortunately the bike had handling issues and Suzuki tamed it to little over 100bhp. Claimed power for the Suzuki SV1000 is 118bhp, actual figure is about 106 which is enough thanks to loads of torque but an exhaust system and power commanded will release more if required from the SV1000. Build quality seems to be a Suzuki problem lately and the SV1000 is no exception. Suzuki SV1000 owners report annoying problems, mainly corrosion and poor finish. Reliability problems are rarer with the SV1000, especially as owners tend to look after their bikes. Comfortable over distance but the Suzuki SV1000's seat doesn t suit everyone. Reasonable if not brilliant pillion seat. Clocks are fairly comprehensive. The Suzuki SV1000's headlights are better than most bikes which is a bonus. Mirrors are acceptable and under seat storage is above average. Steering damper fitted as standard. Additional fairing side panels can ruin the lines of the Suzuki SV1000 and make the engine run hot.

Suzuki TL1000S for sale by original owner. The bike includes the Suzuki recall upgrades: the ECU unit and installation of the steering dampener. The bike was upgraded after a low speed spill with custom exhaust pipes and carbon fiber wrapped canisters, steel braided brake lines and a custom Corbin saddle. Also included are a carbon fiber tank guard and spindles for a bike stand. Serviced the end of 2014 with new battery, spark plugs, oil and filter, and front shock stanchions. Bike has been ridden about 700 miles in the last 2 years and maintained in good condition and low miles. There is some minor discoloration (lightening) of the paint on the front fairing and minor scratches on the right side half-fairing. Included with the bike is a Marsee expanding tank bag and a Dowco Guardian bike cover. This beautiful machine is a steal at this price.

1999 Suzuki Tl1000 , This has been a great bike - I have used it for commuting the last 3 years, and it has been a real treat to ride. I was looking for some kind of 'real' description, and found this short article, which I hope helps explain the bike a bit as it has been out of production for few years: The late 1990s saw a rash of new V-twin sports machines, spurred by the success of Ducati's 916. Suzuki's first attempt was the TL1000S, a stylish, half-faired sports machine, with a host of innovative technologies. The heart of the TL-S is a liquid-cooled V-twin, which produces a healthy 93kW (125bhp) at 9000rpm. Fairing-mounted ram-air intake scoops feed an advanced fuel-injection system which enhances power and reduces emissions, while a slick, six-speed gearbox delivers the power to a broad 190-section rear tyre. The valve-train design is also unusual, using a mixture of chains and gears to drive the camshafts in order to reduce the size of the cylinder heads. The chassis is unusual. The frame uses an aluminium tube trellis design which combines stiffness with low weight. Upside-down 43mm (1.7in) Kayaba forks are more conventional, but the rear suspension was unique when launched. Rather than use a combined linearspring/damper unit as on most bikes, the TL split the spring from the damper, and used a new rotary damper design. This layout, partly chosen to assist in routing the rear cylinder and exhaust, has been criticized by some experts, although in theory it should offer benefits including reduced friction. The TL1000S received some criticism for its handling, particularly claims that it was susceptible to front-end instability. Suzuki reacted to these claims by adding a steering damper shortly after the bike was introduced, and retro-fitting the damper to customers' bikes. The non-adjustable damper fits above the top yoke, and does calm the steering under hard acceleration, although it makes the steering slightly heavier at low speeds. Despite its strong performance and aggressive character, the TL1000S wasn't a big success for Suzuki. Price discounting did keep sales bouyant in some markets though, and many riders also appreciated the aggressive reputation which the TL had gained through its strong performance and tricky handling. The TL1000S was discontinued in 2002. 1997 Suzuki Tl1000 , I have a 97 Suzuki TL1000s in very good condition. Absolutely nothing wrong mechanically, runs and rides great. It does have some minor paint fading but that is it. I have put flush mount blinkers on the front, and new grips. It also has Yoshimura Rs-3 twin exhaust, fender eliminator kit, and double bubble racing windshield (tinted black). As for the the maintenance, it has brand new tires front and rear, maybe 600 miles on them, a brand new red x-ring chain, that does not have its first chain adjustment yet. Also it has a K and N oil filter /change in the last 1000 miles. Has 27,363 miles on it. I do ride it almost daily. I am selling it only because i got new job and i went from riding it 4 miles round trip, to 80 miles round trip and unfortunately i am turning into a old man :{ $3000 FIRM chances are you are not going to find more bike for this price, and no test rides or joy rides unless you got all the cash in hand. 2006 Suzuki Sv1000 S, Listed is my 2006 SV1000s, title in hand, cash only! This bike has been babied, it's just that I have more bikes than this, and it does not get ridden very much. Please don't lowball me with offers because I won't be able to accept them, sorry. You just can't find this bike in good shape anymore. For those of you who know what bike this is, then you know how awesome it is. It was only made from 2003-2007, pretty much replaced the TL1000. 996 fuel injected Vtwin motor, pushing around 118HP. Sounds awesome, rides awesome, looks awesome. This bike is clean, very much of an attention getter. People ask me about it every time I take it out! This is a hard-to-find bike in good condition. All the others have either high mileage, been wrecked, or both. Email w/ phone # for more info! 9,7xx Miles, Dual Jardine cans, Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires, Rear fender eliminator kit, Front frame savers, Battery tender plug already hooked up, rebuilt seat by Spencer; used Supracor instead of gel for seat. I have changed all fluids; Mobile 1 synthetic in motor, flushed and replaced front and rear brake fluid, well as clutch fluid. Radiator and lines flushed and replaced with Engine Ice coolant. Extras not listed above include brand new Nelson-Riggs 4 piece bags, bars and top clamp if you want to have a more upright riding stance, and SS braided brake lines for new bars. Also have some extra fluids that will go with it. If you don't want some of the extras, then we can negotiate price. I bought this bike 4yrs ago with 6,000 miles on it. I have another bike I ride, but never get this one out much. It has been kept covered in a climate controlled garage. I hate to sell it, but I need another car or to pay bills with the money. Engine Size: 636 Miles: 12,033For sale is a well cared for 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 Ninja in flat blue. The bike has a Micron slip-on exhaust, TST Industries programmable integrated tail light (brake light and blinkers), TST Industries fender eliminated license plate bracket and license plate light, Woodcraft frame sliders and swing arm spools, ASV micro adjust brake/clutch levers, aftermarket flush mount front blinkers, K&N air filter, Pirelli Angel front and rear tires with lots of tred (rear recently picked up a nail and has since been repaired with a plug; I recommend the tire be replaced), rear passenger seat and an OEM solo cowl included, two OEM keys and a clean and clear title. I am the second owner and purchased the bike May of 2014 at which time the bike had 9600 miles. The bike currently sits at just over 12000. At the time of purchase the rear brake pads were replaced, the front brake was bled, an oil change was completed, and the tires were mounted. Everything but the slip-on exhaust was installed shortly after the purchase. Miles wise the bike doesn't need anything (but the rear tire) but time wise it could use an oil change.The bike has minor scratches here and there but is in overall excellent shape. The previous owner drilled two holes in the rear fairing where he had attached blinkers. The blinkers have been removed but the two holes, on either side, are still visible. The bike has been garage kept and never miss treated. The sale will include a bike cover and a battery tender with the lead installed, run to under the rear seat.2006 was the last year Kawasaki made the 636 displacement engine until it was reintroduced in the 2013 model.
