Extremely rare with this low miles! unbelievably beautiful and super collectible: # 288 of 300 Last chance before this bike is sold to a buyer in Europe and shipped over! A rare opportunity to buy an extremely collectible, unique, sexy, elegant, timeless & super beautiful MV Agusta F4 "AGO" that is as rare as it gets with such low miles! After all, it carries the name of a phenomenal motorcycle racing legend, "Giacomo Agostini" ! The combination of the name of a legend, and being designed by the master of motorcycle design, "Massimo Tamburini" (R.I.P), you can rest assured that it will definitely only go up in value! It was built, using very high quality materials and craftsmanship that is no longer offered these days or even economically feasible for the manufactures to do so, it being down to the Gold Zinc Chromate plated bolts on this bike which no longer exist on production bikes. They don't make bikes like this anymore. This bike has a tremendous investment potential for the near future. MV Agusta AGO simply must be the best looking modern motorcycle ever made. Unless the world is going to end tomorrow, it is and it will be a fantastic investment that can also be enjoyed! You can practically bring it in and park it inside your living room and use it as an amazing artwork, while it goes up in value and appreciation. Nevertheless, Dollar and money in general is losing value every year and this could be a safe and exciting investment for the future. One of only 60 units imported to the North America of the total 300 produced for the entire world. It was sold at Munroe Motors in San Francisco when new! Some of those 60 units have already gone out of the country and exported elsewhere! This one is # 288 and it is beautifully displayed on the triple clamp with a 18 karat Gold plated plaque. In my humble opinion, AGO version is the best looking modern MV ever built to date. This bike is as new as it possibly can be, having only completed 40 test miles since it was delivered. This model came with specially painted forged Marchesini wheels and several carbon fiber bits and pieces from the factory, including the air runners, front fender, upper and lower chain guards, key guard, front fender; The CF battery box and some other CF parts were ordered directly from MV performance parts catalog. The forks are different than the ones on mass-produced F4 versions and they are "Ti-Nitride coated". it is as a friction modifier, and makes the forks slide smoother. The front calipers are the billet version, which were only supplied on AGO and Tamburini models as standard! The AGO model also comes with beautifully made adjustable rearsets, Red frame, unique Matt Goldish/Platinum color swingarm, side plates, bar-ends and specially anodized triple clamp! And of course the Red seat! Two keys are included. This bike has never been washed and is not modified in any form or shape other than the licence plate holder bracket, which has been replaced with a tail tidy kit with CF frame and different tastefully positioned turn signals. The original licence plate holder and turn signals are included. All it takes is only a few minutes to have it return back to stock. The only other new MV AGO that I'm aware of being offered for sale with no miles sold in Netherlands at Bruggeman Motorcycles afew weeks ago, and for a hefty Euro €28.299 ($38.700) in today's exchange rate. That bike had 0 miles, however 40 miles is considered very low as well! As with any American import AGO edition, it comes with a set of "RG3" slip on performance exhaust with specially designated Platinum colored anodized tips which was AGO specific only and it does include a performance chip as well, Books, factory tools, factory MV grip covers, MV factory Red paddock stand. There are a few extras in addition to what came with the bike: Ordered from MV Performance parts catalog are the carbon rear hugger carbon exhaust shield, carbon rearsets heel guards and a carbon battery box. A brand new in box, factory supplied cat-less racing mid-pipe is also going with the bike. The current raerset heel-guards and the heat shield on the bike are the MV factory carbon fiber ones, which were just mentioned. It also has clear fuel tank side protectors. Spark plugs have been replaced with the Iridium NGK plugs, however the originals are also included. Bike has been regularly started to maintain the healthy internals and to prevent gaskets from drying out. It also has a new battery which is on trickle charger. Oil had been refreshed as well, even though bike was sitting. Paint at the upper edge of the right mirror has been slightly smudged and retouched. It is barely noticeable, if any at all(if you get super close to it) and you may be able to polish it out.It was on a California non-op registration from 2007 until very recently. I just paid the registration fees and brought it up to date. It's good to go through OCT of 2014 if operated in CA. If you require an inspection, have it done prior to bidding.
