The cylinder block is now cast separately from the upper crankcase to cope with higher pressures, more torque and more power.In addition to the 675, the R now comes with a quickshift gearchange, reprogrammed for 2013 to give you even faster, smoother shifting.FrameThe new Daytona 675R frame is made from eight castings. That means fewer welds and a lighter construction with no loss of strength or stiffness for a more focussed ride.We sharpened the geometry with a change in the rake from 23.9° to 22.9° and a reduction in trail from 89.1mm to 87.2mm. You can now even adjust its pivot and personalise the bike's geometry, fine-tuning it to suit your riding style and conditions.BrakesWe fitted the 675R with the latest Brembo Monobloc front brake callipers in place of the standard bike's Nissin units as they are especially resistant to heat fade. Being machined from single blocks of aluminium rather than two sections bolted together, you also get increased strength and reduced distortion under the extreme pressures of heavy braking as experienced in track use - which in turn improves feel and feedback to you, the rider.Wheels and TiresShaving weight off a bike shaves milliseconds off a lap time. So we reduced the 675R's wheel weight because, with their gyroscopic effect, weight lost here is like eight times the weight lost elsewhere on a bike. We fitted new wheels with the new rear being 0.5kg lighter than the outgoing model. And Pirelli Dragon SuperCorsa tires for optimum performance.Steering DamperThe Daytona 675R is fitted with new, state-of-the-art KYB centre-fixed cartridge forks that use an internal damping cartridge which is rigidly located at both ends, rather than floating at one end as in conventional designs. Because it's supported by thinner walls, it has more room for the damping piston, so a larger diameter one can be used, improving damping accuracy. So just how did we improve on it? The all-new triple motor is more compact, and more powerful, which allowed us to re-design the frame to be smaller, lighter and narrower than before. That, combined with a bigger airbox, new swingarm, lighter wheels and new, sharper, bodywork means we’ve succeeded in making the new Daytona 675 more agile, more responsive, and more forgiving than ever before. Engine The Daytona’s triple engine is completely new. The cylinder block is now solid aluminium with ceramic coated liners, making the whole unit inherently stronger. This allowed us to increase the torque and engine speed, giving you more power. Amazingly, we could achieve all this whilst maintaining an overall narrow and compact package. Power is up from 125ps to 128ps and from 73Nm to 75Nm. By increasing the rev limit to 14,400 rpm, with a larger bore and shorter stroke, the engine is now even more responsive to rider input. Peak power is now at 12,600rpm running up to that new redline, and with more power delivered more smoothly throughout the rev range – roll the throttle and you’ll be rewarded with instant drive. To give the motor more air to breathe, we increased the size of the air intake and channelled the airflow through the headstock, so we can force even more air in and create more power. The new engine now operates with twin injectors per cylinder, which are both compact and provide more accurate fuelling. Revised mapping has helped boost the torque throughout the rev range. I bought this bike new around June of 2013 to support the race team I was part of at the time.  I rode 300 miles on the street, and then converted it to track only.  It has a clean title and 1977 miles.  You can easily put it back to street configuration and have a well set up track day street bike.  It is set up with the following:- Stock Ohlins Suspension revalved/sprung (for 175lbs)/Tuned by Fastbike Industries- Kyle shock link- Stock Quick shift GP pattern- Stock ECU remapped at the dealer for AIS removed and full system- Apex modified triples w/ extra inserts- Motion Pro Revolver quick turn throttle- Triumph Billet front brake reservoir- Pit Bull steering damper- Stomp Grip- DB Holder Race upper fairing stay- Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen- Woodcraft rear sets- Woodcraft Clip on (minor repair)- Arrow Triumph Race Catalog titanium headers with M4 megaphone muffler- Pit Bull Sprockets- Renthal Chain- Sharkskins lower and tail w/ Hotbodies Upper- Triumph frame sliders (mounts installed, Pucks are not)- Vesrah RJL-XX brake pads- Dunlop GPA Pro's that should be replaced+$500 for an Extra Set of wheels w/ brake disks and speed rings. Usual nicks and scratches from tire changes.+$500 if you want the stock parts with the bike (minus the upper fairing stay)I will sell separately after the bike sells.  The 675 is an amazing engine and pulls really well.  The power is also very smooth.  The Apex triple mod, removing the rear shock spacer, and lengthening the wheel base has made it a really balanced smooth turning ride.  It is very easy to turn in but doesn't fall in.  It is really stable under hard braking as well.I had a low side on track at VIR and the bike went over curbing.  The corner of the OEM fairing stay broke, the corner of the radiator got a dent, the tank got a dent, the Arrow muffler got a dent and scratched the swing arm, and a small dent on the lip of the front rim.   I replaced the radiator, gas tank, muffler, upper stay, and upper fairing.  The front wheel dent was repaired by Wills Wheels in SC.  The original front wheel that is on the bike now, doesn't have the abs ring.  I rode the bike all of 2016 and the only issue is the fuel gauge doesn't always read right after being swapped to the new tank.  I repainted it using PPG single stage.  It isn't perfect but looks good.   I am selling it because I am 6/4" and have had a hard time fitting on the bike.  The seat sits low and the bike is really narrow which is hard for my long legs.Again, I'm asking $8500 obo.  You can call or text me at five four zero, six seven six, four one one three or email me at bsteve525 through gmail.  I will be going to the Cornerspeed day on 4/17/17.  Let me know if you'd like me to bring it with.
