Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE The Super III stock engine is 885cc. This engine is now a 955cc. The engine case was machined to take 955 cylinders and pistons. We used pistons and rods from a 2002 Sprint because the weight was exactly the same as the Super III’s, 754 grams. No engine balancing was required and the engine is as smooth as it has always been. The Triumph service manager was impressed and he liked the extra bottom end torque it now has. This rebuilt engine now has about 1,000 miles on it. Of course many newer parts were put into it. To name a few: cylinder liners, pistons, crankshaft, main & connecting rod bearings, cam chain and adjuster, resurfaced head. Rare – You probably already know, only a few of these bikes were made and imported to the U.S. No accidents, just a minor tip over that dented the front stainless strap on the right muffler. It was always well maintained, and runs great. It looks good, always garaged but it has 69,000 so it is not a perfect museum piece. The paint scratch on the tank was rubbed out, but now it missing some yellow paint. The seat cowling has a crack on each side from the securing screws. Above the base of the left mirror there is a small crack from 8 years ago. That crow got his last bite of road kill and was hit at over 80 mph. Bird guts everywhere. That wear on the front corner of the seat is the same on the other side. Modifications: Dynojet carb kit installed in Mikuni carbs, it gets 40 mpg. Sprint foot pegs with matching brake pedal and shifting gear, original equipment available. Shortened center stand from a Trophy, good for maintenance. Carbon fiber looking levers and gas cap. 12 volt plug for a radar detector. Extra auxiliary fuse box for added goodies. Please ask questions, or for more pictures. I prefer local pickup since I haven’t ever shipped a bike before so I don’t know what the cost would be, but I’ll help if needed.

For sale is the Rare Triumph Super III. motofire.com/2014/12/old-flame-triumph-daytona-super-iii/ Only 179 were ever imported into the United States from 805 that were ever produced. After nearly 20 years, that number has dwindled down to just a few remaining. I've only seen one other for sale and they asking $7000. Now is your chance add this great running specimen to your collection. The good: · 19129 miles of mellow adult riding. Low miles! This number is last week's number. I will be riding with my wife later today. It will be sold with less than 19,500 though.· Re-upholstered rear seat· Fork seals done· Valves checked (no adjustment needed)· Carb cleaned and tuned· Inside tank rust-free· Meat left on the tires NEW FRONT TIRE INCLUDED FREE!· Chain and sprockets clean and oiled (look great)· Rear solid cowel included(it covers rear seat)· Box of extras included free· Runs like New! The not so good: · Bike went down at a slow speed when plastics were off. This resulted in scratches on right hand brake, light dents on exhaust, part of windscreen missing, exhaust cap on left side missing, rear brake lever bent slightly. Rear decals were sanded off sadly, as was right middle decal. See pictures, it's quite minor but I like to fully disclose what I can see. Buy it now includes free shipping to 48 states. Haulbikes dot com quote $499 shipping to anywhere in the 48 states so it will be less the closer to San Diego . If less than Buy It Now I can deliver up to 200 miles for 50cents a mile. Come by for a test ride, I live downtown San Diego.

1995 Triumph Super Iii , Extremely rare limited edition 1995 Triumph Daytona Super III. These were only imported to the USA in 1995 and 1996, and only about 170 total. Brief history: Triumph returned to the USA in 1995, and brought this with them. Very limited edition, with top-end and engine castings done by Cosworth Engineering, Ltd of Formula 1 fame. They massaged the heads, used higher compression 12.0:1 pistons from the 750/1000, and hotter "red" cams, with more duration and lift. Result was an increase in hp from the regular 885cc engine of 96HP to 115HP, with minimal loss in torque due to the higher compression. Also was factory-modified to include fully adjustable front and rear suspension, 6-piston twin-caliper front brakes, and carbon fiber fenders front and rear. This bike is an EXCELLENT specimen. It has been well treated, loved admired, and babied. Lots of recent love, service, and maintenance: new brakes front and back, EBC Double-H sintered pads Carbs fully rebuilt from top to bottom including: New needle jets, new jet needles, new pilot jets, new main jets, new float valves, all-new O-rings and gaskets, brand-new choke needle assemblies. Needle jets are steel, NOT brass, so no worries in 12K miles. Mixture screws are Factory Pro "longboys" so you don't need a $100 90-degree screwdriver to adjust mixtures New UK-spec Triumph smoked windscreen with all-new screws, washers, and wellnuts. any plastic/rubber that was aged/brittle replaced, like cooling system elbows, rubber parts, etc... Currently jetted for K&N air filter and the Micron exhausts (130/125/130, 40 pilots), and plenty of jets included if you want to experiment with the included EMGO individual air pod filters. Bike has had, in the last 300 miles: Valve check 200mi ago - was fine, check will be needed in about 6000 miles (18,000 mile mark) Complete coolant flush, including removal of overflow tank and full cleaning. Tank has new grommets and hose elbows Brake flush, front and rear Oil and filter change Both headlight bulbs replaced, just because As mentioned, currently running original Triumph airbox included and is fitted with a K&N air filter. All factory carbon fiber included, front fender, rear fender/chainguard, and the cockpit inlay panels Charging system is good I've been running the bike on ethanol-free 90 gas, but the carbs were rebuilt with viton o-rings and gaskets, so the carbs won't have an issue with ethanol. Manual is included with slip cover, as is a toolkit in Triumph pouch, and the Haynes shop manual, and a digital copy of the Triumph shop manual. I DON'T need help selling it, I'm not interested in any certified check scams, and if you want a test ride, bring $4500 cash that I hold on to and a motorcycle endorsement on your Florida driver's license. $4,500.00

1996 Triumph Daytona Super III 900 Triple. This bike is in excellent shape with just over 13K miles and draws attention everywhere it goes. This model has the Cosworth engine giving it that extra boost over the standard Daytona. The Super III offers special graphics, a cover over the passenger seat and factory carbon fiber: front fender, rear hugger with integrated chain guard, dash panels, and pipes. This bike has more relaxed ergos than most sport bikes so it is comfortable to ride. The six piston front calipers provide excellent stopping power. I would rate this bike a solid 9 out of 10. The areas of concern have been photographed, please see pictures, tank, right side panel and small chips on lower front spoiler. All the gauges, lights and electronics work as they should and I have a clear California title in my name and it is currently registered. Looking for a low mileage classic Triumph, this is it. Down payment of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of auctions end and full payment before bike is picked up within 14 days of auctions end. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements. 2015 TRIUMPH Daytona 675 ABS, Apex after apex the new Daytona 675 inspires complete confidence. More power, lighter weight, and easier to ride, our engineers' ambition was simple: to create the most perfectly balanced motorcycle. An equal blend of torque, responsiveness, agility, poise and purpose. The result is a bike with class-defining power, performance and handling. A bike that will inspire total confidence. And looks every bit as good. The engine is brand new featuring twin injectors per cylinder, titanium valves, a 14,400 red line, and a spine tingling induction roar. It's faster on the track, better on the road and even more satisfying to own.Chassis Features• Suspension: Front and rear Kayaba suspension is, of course, fully adjustable. Both front and rear suspension have the added advantage of separate low- and high-speed compression damping adjustment, making the Daytona as forgiving on the road as it is focused on the track. • Wheels and Tires: Something as simple as reducing the weight of the wheels can have a dramatic effect on handling. Lighter wheels reduce unsprung mass and minimize the gyroscopic effect of a spinning wheel. This makes it easier to turn the bike in and hold a line through the corner. We’ve put race-derived Pirelli SuperCorsa tires on to give you the grip to match the potential lean angles. • Front Forks: The new Daytona 675 is fitted with new, state-of-the-art KYB center-fixed cartridge forks that use an internal damping cartridge which is rigidly located at both ends, rather than floating at one end as in conventional designs. Because it's supported by thinner walls, it has more room for the damping piston, so a larger diameter one can be used, improving damping accuracy. • Mass Centralization: By relocating the silencer to under the engine, rapid direction changes are now more fluid and more controlled. Rider input is rewarded with an incredibly controlled response. Concentrating as much of the mass of the bike at the center has increased the Daytona 675's agility and grip, so you can achieve higher lean angles through the corners. And you’ll find that the bike now responds even more readily to your input through the handlebars. • Frame: The new Daytona 675 frame is made from 8 castings. That means fewer welds and a lighter construction with no loss of strength or stiffness for a more focused ride. We sharpened the geometry with a change in the rake from 23.9 degrees to 22.9 degrees and a reduction in trail from 89.

Its 675 cc, water-cooled three-cylinder 12-valve power unit is extremely compact and features Keihin closed-loop fuel injection and stacked six-speed close ratio gearbox. Peak power of 123 bhp is delivered at 12,500 rpm, with 53 ft. lbs. of torque at 11,750 rpm. The standard exhaust features an efficient underseat end-can and also utilizes a secondary valve to boost torque low down. While the Daytona 675’s engine is refined, the triple’s innate character remains with typical Triumph toughness engineered into every part. The Daytona 675’s aluminum frame is fabricated with open-back cast spars, which wrap over the top of the motor, accentuating further the benefits of the narrow three-cylinder design. Suspension is provided by top quality fully adjustable 41 mm upside down forks and piggyback reservoir rear shock, also fully adjustable. A radial master cylinder and twin radial four-piston calipers work on the front fully floating 308 mm discs, which are matched by a 220 mm rear disc and single piston caliper. The wheels are a lightweight five-spoke design with dimensions of 17 x 3.5 inch (front) and 17 x 5.5 inch (rear) and wear super sticky Pirelli Super Corsa road/track compound tires. The Daytona 675’s digital instrument console has the usual trip functions as well as displaying average fuel economy. Also featured is a sophisticated lap timer – useful for comparing successive lap times on a circuit as well as average and maximum speed for each lap. A programmable gear change indicator illuminates seven LEDs to let you know the optimum point at which to change up, for maximum performance: You can program in both the engine speed and the illumination sequence. The LCD panel also tells you which gear you are in at all times. The Daytona 675 sits firmly within a class of one and delivers incredible performance with its exciting, powerful engine and intuitive, razor-sharp chassis. It looks, sounds and feels like nothing else. It has redrawn the super sports middleweight map and truly earned the praise heaped upon it by some of the toughest critics in the motorcycle press. The Daytona 675 is incomparable. Find out for yourself by test riding one at your local Triumph dealer. Features May Include: Internals (injectors, valves) With twin injectors per cylinder the new Daytona can draw more fuel quicker when you open the throttle fully and demand more from the engine. A first for a production Triumph, we have now fitted substantially lighter titanium valves to cope better with the higher revs. This also means lighter valve springs can be used, reducing valve train wear and friction. Performance We built the new Daytona engine with a shorter stroke allowing us to set a 500rpm higher rev ceiling at 14,400 and we increased power to 128PS and maximum torque to 75Nm. The cylinder block is now cast separately from the upper crankcase to cope with higher pressures, more torque and more power. 2005 Triumph Rocket III, Super clean well kept bike. Needs nothing. - Just a few short years ago a cruiser with the sheer performance of the Rocket III would have been an impossible daydream, an engineer's 'what if. . . The Rocket III is a whirling, mechanized cyclone of power. Its three fuel-injected cylinders displace a monstrous 2,294cc and pump out 147lb-ft of torque. That amazing output is fed to the giant 240-section rear tire via a five-speed gearbox and shaft drive, while the massively strong steel frame, upside-down forks and Daytona 955i spec four-piston brake calipers elementally contain the Rocket III's potential. But the Rocket III is in possession of fine balance. Of course it demands respect on all levels but it remains a truly useable machine, and will tour highways, cruise streets and hustle turns with effortless ability. The Rocket III may be the largest capacity production motorcycle in the world but it's designed to be ridden. True individuality is rare and the Rocket III has forever defined a complete generation of motorcycles. Everything about it is special. Its muscular performance, stunning looks, attention to detail and monumental presence are simply unique. Which means the Rocket III isn't just a special motorcycle. It's a truly an extraordinary one.
