Posted Over 1 Month

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE The Super III stock engine is 885cc. This engine is now a 955cc. The engine case was machined to take 955 cylinders and pistons. We used pistons and rods from a 2002 Sprint because the weight was exactly the same as the Super III’s, 754 grams. No engine balancing was required and the engine is as smooth as it has always been. The Triumph service manager was impressed and he liked the extra bottom end torque it now has. This rebuilt engine now has about 1,000 miles on it. Of course many newer parts were put into it. To name a few: cylinder liners, pistons, crankshaft, main & connecting rod bearings, cam chain and adjuster, resurfaced head. Rare – You probably already know, only a few of these bikes were made and imported to the U.S. No accidents, just a minor tip over that dented the front stainless strap on the right muffler. It was always well maintained, and runs great. It looks good, always garaged but it has 69,000 so it is not a perfect museum piece. The paint scratch on the tank was rubbed out, but now it missing some yellow paint. The seat cowling has a crack on each side from the securing screws. Above the base of the left mirror there is a small crack from 8 years ago. That crow got his last bite of road kill and was hit at over 80 mph. Bird guts everywhere. That wear on the front corner of the seat is the same on the other side. Modifications: Dynojet carb kit installed in Mikuni carbs, it gets 40 mpg. Sprint foot pegs with matching brake pedal and shifting gear, original equipment available. Shortened center stand from a Trophy, good for maintenance. Carbon fiber looking levers and gas cap. 12 volt plug for a radar detector. Extra auxiliary fuse box for added goodies. Please ask questions, or for more pictures. I prefer local pickup since I haven’t ever shipped a bike before so I don’t know what the cost would be, but I’ll help if needed.

For sale is the Rare Triumph Super III. motofire.com/2014/12/old-flame-triumph-daytona-super-iii/ Only 179 were ever imported into the United States from 805 that were ever produced. After nearly 20 years, that number has dwindled down to just a few remaining. I've only seen one other for sale and they asking $7000. Now is your chance add this great running specimen to your collection. The good: · 19129 miles of mellow adult riding. Low miles! This number is last week's number. I will be riding with my wife later today. It will be sold with less than 19,500 though.· Re-upholstered rear seat· Fork seals done· Valves checked (no adjustment needed)· Carb cleaned and tuned· Inside tank rust-free· Meat left on the tires NEW FRONT TIRE INCLUDED FREE!· Chain and sprockets clean and oiled (look great)· Rear solid cowel included(it covers rear seat)· Box of extras included free· Runs like New! The not so good: · Bike went down at a slow speed when plastics were off. This resulted in scratches on right hand brake, light dents on exhaust, part of windscreen missing, exhaust cap on left side missing, rear brake lever bent slightly. Rear decals were sanded off sadly, as was right middle decal. See pictures, it's quite minor but I like to fully disclose what I can see. Buy it now includes free shipping to 48 states. Haulbikes dot com quote $499 shipping to anywhere in the 48 states so it will be less the closer to San Diego . If less than Buy It Now I can deliver up to 200 miles for 50cents a mile. Come by for a test ride, I live downtown San Diego.

1995 Triumph Super Iii , Extremely rare limited edition 1995 Triumph Daytona Super III. These were only imported to the USA in 1995 and 1996, and only about 170 total. Brief history: Triumph returned to the USA in 1995, and brought this with them. Very limited edition, with top-end and engine castings done by Cosworth Engineering, Ltd of Formula 1 fame. They massaged the heads, used higher compression 12.0:1 pistons from the 750/1000, and hotter "red" cams, with more duration and lift. Result was an increase in hp from the regular 885cc engine of 96HP to 115HP, with minimal loss in torque due to the higher compression. Also was factory-modified to include fully adjustable front and rear suspension, 6-piston twin-caliper front brakes, and carbon fiber fenders front and rear. This bike is an EXCELLENT specimen. It has been well treated, loved admired, and babied. Lots of recent love, service, and maintenance: new brakes front and back, EBC Double-H sintered pads Carbs fully rebuilt from top to bottom including: New needle jets, new jet needles, new pilot jets, new main jets, new float valves, all-new O-rings and gaskets, brand-new choke needle assemblies. Needle jets are steel, NOT brass, so no worries in 12K miles. Mixture screws are Factory Pro "longboys" so you don't need a $100 90-degree screwdriver to adjust mixtures New UK-spec Triumph smoked windscreen with all-new screws, washers, and wellnuts. any plastic/rubber that was aged/brittle replaced, like cooling system elbows, rubber parts, etc... Currently jetted for K&N air filter and the Micron exhausts (130/125/130, 40 pilots), and plenty of jets included if you want to experiment with the included EMGO individual air pod filters. Bike has had, in the last 300 miles: Valve check 200mi ago - was fine, check will be needed in about 6000 miles (18,000 mile mark) Complete coolant flush, including removal of overflow tank and full cleaning. Tank has new grommets and hose elbows Brake flush, front and rear Oil and filter change Both headlight bulbs replaced, just because As mentioned, currently running original Triumph airbox included and is fitted with a K&N air filter. All factory carbon fiber included, front fender, rear fender/chainguard, and the cockpit inlay panels Charging system is good I've been running the bike on ethanol-free 90 gas, but the carbs were rebuilt with viton o-rings and gaskets, so the carbs won't have an issue with ethanol. Manual is included with slip cover, as is a toolkit in Triumph pouch, and the Haynes shop manual, and a digital copy of the Triumph shop manual. I DON'T need help selling it, I'm not interested in any certified check scams, and if you want a test ride, bring $4500 cash that I hold on to and a motorcycle endorsement on your Florida driver's license. $4,500.00

2009 50th Anniversary T-100 Bonneville. This anniversary edition is based on the T100 model, and is both attractive and subtle in its connection to the past. The original '59 Bonnie used a bluish Pearl Gray and Tangerine, with gold lines separating the colors. The anniversary model has kept true to the colors, though with different names, Meriden Blue and Exotic Orange (Gulf livery), and gold dividing lines. The cam covers on the engine are also chromed as part of an enhanced chrome package. Equally important for the anniversary version is the black handlebar clamp which has a small plaque reading LIMITED EDITION with the serialized number in the 650 sequence written below. This is # 319.Other anniversary tidbits are the white piping on the seat, and the Triumph logo at the end of the saddle being written in gold--for the golden anniversary. Both side panels have 50th anniversary decals. The instrument panel is finished in black, and the Triumph name is now molded into the rubber footrests. Fork gaiters are standard; these are not only very retro but also very practical, as they do protect the fork seals. Approximately 250 of these came to the USA out of 650 total worldwide.First year of Fuel Injection. All original docs and parts included ('Bloor' letter). Additions to stock; British Custom Predator Exhaust, Triumph Single Seat with integrated luggage rack (original seat included), Dart Fly Screen, Kaoko Throttle Lock, Hepco and Becker panniers/bags on C-Bow mounts (easily removable), Super Bright LEDs front and rear for increased visibility, Engine Dresser Bars (engine guards), Progressive rear shocks, Race Tech Gold Fork Emulators and revised springs."Matching" Les Paul-type Guitar can also be part of the sale. (currently for sale separately)Additional pix and videos can be made available to seriously interested parties.

2006 Triumph Sprint ST, This beauty has color matched locking saddle bags and a taller windshield. Low Miles and super Clean, lowest price around!!! - The Sprint ST represents the very pinnacle of sports touring refinement. It?s a bike that has never made compromises ? it?s defied them. It?s a sports bike that covers distance, a touring bike that carves corners. It possesses a truly usable mix of poise, power and all-round practicality and in many ways is a true ?GT? motorcycle. The ST?s 1050 cc, fuel-injected, three-cylinder motor has huge reserves of torque for linear, effortless drive in any gear and ample horsepower for when it?s needed. Peak power is an impressive 123 bHP at 9,250 rpm while peak torque of 77 lbs. ft. arrives at just 5,000 rpm. Enhancing the engine is a buttery six-speed gearbox ? with remote gear change linkage ? and clutch fitted with an anti-backlash gear. The character of the three-cylinder layout is unfettered but the engine has a seamless polish that provides a perfect counterpoint to the lusty power delivery. The Sprint ST has an engine to revel in, to explore and, most of all, use to the full. Matching the Sprint ST?s sublime engine is a superb chassis. An aluminum beam frame, featuring a wheelbase of 57.4 in., makes for a fabulously composed yet fast-steering motorcycle, with a huge scope of ability. High quality 43 mm cartridge telescopic forks, adjustable for spring preload, are used for fine control while the rear shock is remotely adjustable for spring preload and rebound damping. A pair of powerful, four-piston brake calipers mated to 320 mm floating discs provide superb stopping power, a two-piston caliper and 255 mm disc slow the rear wheel. The Sprint ST?s sleek look is both functional and stunning and everywhere neat touches, like the chrome infill bars and front indicators set in the mirrors, add class. Styling cues, such as the triple front headlights and triple exit exhausts, LED rear light, complement each other fluidly and the Sprint ST has a cohesive air of a machine that mixes function and form perfectly. Instrumentation includes an LCD trip computer with average MPG and speed functions, amongst others. Fuel capacity is a useful 5.5 gal. Further expanding the Sprint ST?s role is the color-matched factory-designed hard luggage (available as an optional extra), which has been specifically designed for the ST. A host of other accessory items are also available, including factory-fitted GPS and an ABS braking system, which features high on the list of desired attributes for touring riders, particularly on the continent. Triumph?s ABS system is carefully designed to be unobtrusive and to retain all the sensations and feel of riding, simply adding to the rider?s control under hard

2006 Triumph Scrambler, Super low miles! - For 2006 the parallel twin-cylinder Scrambler adds a new twist to the Modern Classics range and is a fresh take on some iconic bikes from Triumph?s past. It?s a redefinition of the bikes made famous by 50?s thrill-seekers such as Steve McQueen, into a contemporary urban context. A ?do anything, go anywhere? kind of bike, inspired in part by the relaxed culture of sunny California and in part by the stylishness of southern European scooter aficionados, the Scrambler has been specifically developed for a particular group of riders currently underserved in the market. While diverse in their demographics and riding experience these riders share the view that motorcycling is great fun, socially acceptable and a liberating experience. Crucially though, they aren?t interested in riding fast and are not motivated by performance or other benchmark figures. As a result these riders desire a bike that?s easy and unintimidating to ride, with or without passenger, in the rough and smooth parts of town or out and about on a longer jaunt. Added to this is a wish for the bike?s design to make a distinctive, personal statement that appeals to and is understood by both their biking and non-biking peers. Enter the Scrambler. Very few motorcycles can claim to be unique but the Scrambler, thanks to its authentic styling is certainly one of them. The flat seat, small headlight and single speedometer help mark its difference as do the pair of upswept exhaust pipes. Only Triumph, with the brand?s strength and sense of its own history could credibly produce such a machine, creating a whole new niche of motorcycle in the process. The Scrambler?s 865 cc, DOHC, 8-valve, air-cooled engine uses a 270° crank firing interval for a smooth and torquey power delivery. With a bore and stroke of 90 x 68 mm and compression ratio of 9.2:1 the engine also features twin carburetors with throttle position sensors. Peak power of 54 bHP arrives at 7,000 rpm (with maximum torque of 51 lbs. ft. available at 5,000 rpm) and is fed to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drive. Using a sturdy tubular steel cradiatorle frame and long-travel suspension front and rear ? 41 mm telescopic forks and twin chromed spring preload-adjustable rear shocks ? the Scrambler is built tough, to iron out the bumps. Its high, wide handlebars and high-set footpegs further aid control and low-speed maneuverability. The wheels are spoked and sized 19 x 2.5 in. (front) and 17 x 3.5 in. (rear). Both wear light-knobby tires in sizes 100/90-19 and 130/80-17. Twin piston calipers are used for both brakes, the front working a single 310 mm disc, the rear a 255 mm disc. Steering geometry is set at 27.6° of rake with 103 mm of trail with a wheelbase of 5

1996 Triumph Daytona Super III 900 Triple. This bike is in excellent shape with just over 13K miles and draws attention everywhere it goes. This model has the Cosworth engine giving it that extra boost over the standard Daytona. The Super III offers special graphics, a cover over the passenger seat and factory carbon fiber: front fender, rear hugger with integrated chain guard, dash panels, and pipes. This bike has more relaxed ergos than most sport bikes so it is comfortable to ride. The six piston front calipers provide excellent stopping power. I would rate this bike a solid 9 out of 10. The areas of concern have been photographed, please see pictures, tank, right side panel and small chips on lower front spoiler. All the gauges, lights and electronics work as they should and I have a clear California title in my name and it is currently registered. Looking for a low mileage classic Triumph, this is it.
