1974 Triumph Trident Very nice original 1974 Triumph Trident T150 Triple. Pretty rare English bike. Matching numbers bike. Low original miles. Original paint, original Dunlop rims, last year for the vertical cylinders. This bike has been inside the garage with all fuel drained from carbs and tank in storage mode. It always has been a great running bike and I see no reason that it will not fire right up when you add fuel. As you can see, a Dunstal 3 into 1 header was added. That is really the only component that is not original to the bike. Electronics all work fine too. You will want to add brake fluid and bleed the front brake as the resevoir was drained as well prior to storage 2 years ago. The bike has a historical plate from 1974 too. I have the correct clear title to the bike and have verified that the VIN on the title is an exact match to the VIN on the bike and the engine. This is a matching numbers bike. Very nice, mostly original bike. It's been stored indoors for most of it's life. The bike turns over with the kicker and shifts through all the gears. Easily returned to a daily rider. I bought this bike several years ago with that in mind but have too many projects and now it's time for it to go to a new home. I have never ridden the machine but it was running when I bought it. If you are reading this ad you already know the bike is original except for the mufflers (no I don't have the stockers). Motorcycle Classics magazine recently recommended the Triumph/BSA triples as good bikes to buy for investment purposes. $500 due upon close of sale with the remainder by Certified Check or whatever we agree upon, before shipment. 1974 Triumph Trident, completely rebuilt motor, trans, carbs, etc. bike is finished euro style, but I have the original bars,sissy bars,turn signals, aircleaner,and original ignition. Has new Boyer electronic ignition. Choke has been removed,and starts with the ticklers. Just a couple kick once you learn its personality. 1973 Triumph Trident $7000.00 This motorcycle was purchased by me in 1973. It has approximately 25,000 miles on it since new. The speedometer registers a few less. It has the twin leading shoe front brake and five speed transmission. I have the original title from 1973. Also, included is the original owners manual, tool kit, shop manual, assembly manual and brochure from dealer. Bike runs well but can be rather hard to start because of big bore kit. Extra equipment includes: English reverse cones on bike and two sets of new stock mufflers still in boxes. FOR RESTORATION 1975 Triumph 160V for the serious collector/restorer. 5/8" stroker crank from Big D Cycle in Dallas Texas. Cylinders sleeved and rods shortened .060" by Big D. 1058 c.c. Mega Cycle #1190 camshafts. Webco valve springs -- 90# seat, 230# open. Pushrods 5.5" long. Triumph 500 twin tappets (light weight). 10.5:1 c.r. pistons from Big D -- 2.8555" with .006" clearance. Cam gears narrowed to .400" and beveled. 11 drilled holes in cam gears and 9 in idler gear -- all 3/8". Rocker arms lightened and shimmed. 3 -- 32mm Amal mark3's. Barnett clutch. Lightened flywheel. Big D race header with removable baffle designed for the 1058cc, Mega Cycle cammed engine. Boyer Bransden electronic ignition. Reynolds race chain. This one of a kind motorcycle was last on the road in 1994. The kit was installed at 9,410 miles. It now has 12,140 miles on the odometer. It ran when it was stored and the engine is free.
