Item Details: Let me start by saying that though this is a heavy bike, get it moving and it's really quite manageable.I normally enjoy the idea of less is more. Give me a light bike and I'm in love with it, that's what I enjoy.But this ignites a completely different and alien interest. It's so incredibly smooth, from the engine to the ride itself. I completely understand why these motorcycles exist and feel completely confused why more people don't own these. Sure, it's a bit tough to push around, but honestly even rolling, this bike feels stable as if it were on big gyroscope and then discovered that was the purpose of this things massive engine. Porsche was one of the first vehicle manufacturers to use the flat engine configuration due to it's balance and smoothness. And due to it's design layout, it provides a lower center of gravity, excellent for bikes and cars alike.In a car there are drawbacks, such as longer exhaust or difficult to reach spark plugs and more, however on a motorcycle, the exhaust pipes become art and spark plugs accessibility is made far more simple. The engine in this bike is a work of art and absolutely brilliant. And due to it's size and smoothness, it operates as a gyroscope keeping the vehicle incredibly well balanced and poised, even at idle speeds. The throttle input has absolutely no jerk what-so-ever you might find from a V-Twin and definitely has enough power to really dig the back tire in. Might have some weight, but it's no slouch. This motorcycle is a Goldwing convertible, really. Stripped out a little bit, with the top box removed and a few features not found, but otherwise, it's got everything a Goldwing has with the added plus of being able to throw it around a little more easily. I'm willing to bet any rider would enjoy this bike. The Goldwing F6B (Standard) comes without heated grips or a back seat.
